Casey listened yet unmoving for the time being as it listened to Alec. It couldn't help its surprise at the other offering to actually visit it. Only visitors it got was council members needing thing from him, sometimes actual work and other times it was for their own entertainment.

"You'd actually...do that?"

There was astonishment in its voice, as if unbelieving of it. The dragon wanted someone aside from dahlia to give him proper attention, be it had held the boy hostage for its amusement , so the human not just raging or crying didn't make sense at all.

He didn't know why he was offering to see Casey like this, most people would have held some animosity towards the person that would hold them hostage, but Casey never really..physically hurt him or anything...and maybe if he gave the dragon some company then he wouldn't do this again and from what he understood, the dragon had been used alot during his life.

Well yeah...but.....if I want to leave you have to let me leave okay....thats all I ask. He asked and hoped that the dragon would agree to that and keep its promised.

Casey couldn't help to turns its hair and eyes a bright vibrant blue color as it rose to its feet. The dragon always wanted company, but it knew for this to work there would need to be a contract made.

"Do you want to make it a contract? It'll mean I can't do anything against it, like keeping you here if you want to leave."

The dragon only knew how to operate under contracts but not as friends

He blinked at what Casey suggested. A contract? He didn't quite understand why he would need a contract? This wasn't some business deal....was it? He watched as the other rosé from where he was siting and walk over to him. He cocked an eyebrow."Why would I need to do a contract with you?" He asked curiously."Like how long does the contract last and what is your little deal since I already told you mine?" He asked

Casey wasn't stunned that the other wondering what was up with the thought of a contract. At least it knew the human had some kind of brain. It stood with its hands on its hips, its expression turning back into the smug smile it wore.

"Contracts are how I've operated my entire life. It just keeps both parties safe, well at least in this case it does, but it'll bind me by magic not to keep you. Now my only end of the deal is that you visit me once a week. I don't care when but just once a week. After a century of near solitude this isn't asking for much."

It resisted to sound as if begging or pleasing for Alec to stay or things of that nature, but it did want companionship. The dragon was lonely after all, but pride would not leave it to beg a human for anything.

Was this even a good idea to make this kind of contract with a dragon that kept him hostage for.....what felt like days but probably only been a day or so. He listened as the other explain his side of the deal and nodded. He figured the dragon would have asked him to come by at least three times a week since it was obviously craving for some company.

"Okay, I'll agree to that." He said sigh a small smile and couldn't help but to walk up to Casey with his hands behind his back, trying to be cute."Let me guess the reason why you held me hostage is because you enjoyed my cuteness." He teased and giggled

Casey could see that the human was thinking it over, the dragon taking this time to start the contract process. It chose to slice open its palm, the skin cutting easy as thick black slime of sorts oozed out. Casey never liked the sight of it and closed its palm until the human stated it agreed.

"Very well then, if you'll let me see your hand please."

The smirk on its face at Alec guessing why it chose to keep him as hostage. The dragon could find others attractive and all, but it hadn't even taken that into consideration a day ago when it chose to keep Alec around for a while. It had been a smart choice on its side as it ended up getting a companion for at least once a week.

"Yes because seeing a teenage human trying to get high in my graveyard is what i find cute."

it just chose to tease back, the smirk never leaving its lips as it waited to complete the contract.

He didnt see the cut on his hand or anything and just extended his hand to the other and wondered what he needed his hand for. He smiled though at the reply to his teasing."You know you can resist this cute face." He said and gave Casey's cheek a kiss an gave the dragon one of his best smiles.

"How long does this contract go for?" He asked curiously.

Casey chuckled at the comment the human made at his own looks, its hair and eyes flaring pink for a short second before returning to an amused green-blue color. The dragon made no comments as it took one of its claws to cut a tiny slice into Alec's palm. It waited to see it bleed before taking its own sliced open hand and holding their palms together. the black slime of sorts seemed to take on a mind of its own as it moved into Alec's cut for a moment, pulling a little more blood to the surface. The slime then made to seal the cut, turning into a small back mark that looked to be words written in latin on Alec's palm. Casey had a larger mark over where its own cut was only it was red and in the same form of latin. Pulling its hand away, the dragon smiled at its new contractor.

"And that's all there is to it. if either of us break it, the mark will burn until the contract is fulfilled. This one will be for a year, if you dont mind that is."

He winched some when Casey cut his palm with his claw and just stared down at their hands conjoined and felt something slimy now crawl into his cut. He couldn't help but to make a face at the feeling but kept his hand still. When Casey finally let his hand go, he looked at his palm and saw the Latin words. He looked back up to Casey at what the other say and nodded at how long this contract was going to last. A year of doing this shouldn't be to bad, he did have a right to leave and was happy with that much control.

"So......what now?" He asked curiously and went to the other side of the bed and picked up his discarded shirt, putting it on.

Casey stared down at the mark on its hand, knowing it was just another contract to add to the many others it has made in its past. The dragon picked its head up when the human asked of what to do now. It walked over to its vanity, sitting down before it and staring at the reflection for a moment with a smirk.

"Well i guess I can give you back knowing what time it is first, then you can choose to stay longer or leave. The door will be unlocked now as will the main crypt door."

it started to pull an antique brush through its hair, using it as a distraction as it was actually reflected back as its white dragon form, parts of its body having the faced ink of contracts all over. It really didn't remember how many it had but for now it only had two, one with alec on its palm and one with the council of Bitter Springs along its spine.

Alec put the shirt back on and sat down on the bed, running a hand through his hair and just laid back on the bed. "I'm bored." He said and tilt his head to look at the other now, blinking his dark eyes at the reflection but didnt look afraid and in truth he wasn't. He started to bite his piercing on his lip and just grumbled. He gripped the end of the blanket and rolled, making it wrap around himself like a pig in a blanket.

He giggled cutely and rolled onto his stomach and poked his head out from under the blanke and looked to Casey with a adorable expression.

Casey noticed the human wasnt just running out the door as it made the clocks it kept in the apartment appear once more. The dragon was confused with what Alec was doing at first, not quite understanding what was going on before hearing the giggling and seeing the other's face emerge from the blankets. A soft chuckle left the dragon at the other's expression, moving to turn its vanity chair to actually look at the other.

"You humans are such strange creatures. What exactly were you expecting to get out of tangling yourself up like that? it only makes you vulnerable."

Casey had a little grin on its face as it said that, the look in its eyes wonder what sort of challenge it would be getting today with Alec.

He bite his lower lip and smiled."Mmmm I don't know guess just to look cute." He said and giggled, moving some so he got his arms out of his confinements."Casey I'm bored." He whinnied and stuck his tongue out at the other."Would you maybe like to go out and get something to eat and no sucking people's emotion." He added and smiled.

He got himself out from under the blankets but kept it wrapped around him."Why did you want me as company I mean do your normally kidnap everyone that comes into your graveyard?" He asked

Casey couldn't help to chuckle again, the sound sweet but dark. it watched as the human squirmed his arms free of the blanket, seeming to keep them wrapped around the rest of his body before whining again. A sharp brow lifted at the other sticking his tongue out at it, though its hair and eyes turned white at the question. Requests like that weren't allowed under its contract wih the town, knowing how angry dahlia would be if it did so without permission.

"I have a contract with this town that unless the council requests it, i can't leave this graveyard. Its a contract that even goes above yours."

The dragon didn't make an expression at being unhappy with such but its hair and eyes turning a dull grey color said it wasn't happy at all with that. It was extremely rare these days that the dragon got to go out and eat or just wonder amongst the other creatures of the town. It stopped internally moping though when Alec asked about its "kidnapping" and if it was something it did often. A smirk spanned its face, but its hair and eyes stayed the dull grey color.

"Well most are here during the day mourning over their dead loved ones, so i find them rather boring to try and find entertainment in. You were here after dark though and thats when i walk around up in the cemetery to kill time. I wasn't going to keep you at first, just let you go when you woke up the first time, but my curiosity got the better of me and I just wanted to see what went on in that mind of yours."

The dragon's brutal honesty wasn't always the best at times, but at least you knew it wasn't lying. Casey preferred to inflict humans with truth anyhow, they always seemed to react in interesting ways when it did so.
