Damien was finally going to go home. He didn't understand why Marcus had kept him in England for so long. He kept making up some excuse, but Damien thought that Marcus just wanted to keep him all to himself or something of that nature. He sigh softly once they were finally going home and sat in his plane seat, looking out the window.
Once they touch down, he couldn't help but to wonder if something had happened while he was away. There wasn't alot of people at the airport and couldn't help but to look alittle confused at Marcus.

Arya had told him what was going down in town and Marcus had promised himself he'd keep Damien in London as long as possible to keep him safe. Finally he couldn't find another excuse to stay and it seemed the danger was over anyway so he'd agreed to go home. The flight itself had been relatively uneventful, and it wasn't until they reached the airport that Damien seemed to notice something was up.
Placing an arm protectively around the younger male, they waited for their luggage to arrive before he led him out to the parking area where they were met by Arya and Amelita. He was anxious to see how Damien would handle the news of their family expanding like that, but intended to help school the girl anyway.
~*~
It was strange to wake up again in a foreign bed with Arya studying her carefully. What had happened? Why was she in the vampiress home? And why was she so damned hungry? She was famished. When she'd been presented with food, she hadn't been able to eat any of it until finally she asked what was truly bothering her. "I'm dead, aren't I?" If that was true, and she was still around, talking and interacting with people, it meant she had to drink human blood or die. When Arya merely nodded, the huntress buried her head in her hands and cried softly. She could never return home, never see the sunlight again or be with her friends. Why had she ever thought it was a good idea to join the fight?
Finally, Arya had explained to her what was going to happen if she didn't drink human blood and assured her that she wouldn't be alone. She had a new family now. They would teach her, take care of her and slowly introduce her back into society. It had taken some coaxing, but she'd finally been able to complete the change, under very close watch from Arya so she wouldn't kill the pet.
~*~
Arya had helped the newborn dye her hair pink again and taken good care of the youngling. After all, she didn't want either Marcus or Damien to accuse her of being mean to Amelita. So, the blonde had dressed Amelita up in simple clothes and let her have her share of blood daily, though now it was time to meet her maker. So they arrived at the airport and she kept Amelita close for her own protection as well as everyone else's. Though once she saw Damien, Gale slipped out of her hold and rushed at him in a blur, holding him tightly. "You're back!" She exclaimed happily before she looked up at Marcus rather shyly and let got of Damien. He'd given her a rather strict look that made her run back and hide behind Arya.

Things were.....quite....there was almost a dreadful feeling in the air as he looked around, feeling a protective arm around him and looked up to Marcus with a confused and questionable stare. Did something happened here while they were away........was it the reason why Marcus had made them stay in London for almost two weeks?
He kept quite though, looking up once he heard a familiar voice and his blue eyes widen at the sight of Gale. He didn't hug her back as she flung herself towards him, only watching as she was quick to run back and hide behind his sister. Gale was...a vampire? He didn't understand what was going on....why was Gale a vampire and why was there this....dread and suffering in the air.
He looked to Marcus now and narrowed his eyes, moving away from the man and demanded. What are you keeping from me.......something happened here and your not telling me.

Gale knew she'd overreacted to seeing Damien again, but she'd never thought she would. She didn't know what had gotten into her, why she was so overjoyed that he was back or how he made her feel all gooey. Was this because of her recent change? Was that why she was so... full of feelings? Why didn't anyone warn her that everything was so amplified? She was full of questions where she was hiding behind Arya, carefully looking up at Marcus again when Damien demanded to know what was going on.
"We didn't want you to worry Damien," the blonde mused and placed a protective arm around the newborn again, keeping her close so she wouldn't run off again and try to eat someone this time. Control was still something she was trying to teach the girl after all, and it wasn't always easy to keep control over her.
Marcus didn't like that Damien was accusing him of keeping him out of the loop. Sure, it was true, but he'd done it for Damien's sake. "I didn't want you to get hurt love," he said with a shrug before he studied the newborn for a moment. "It's OK Gale, come here and tell him," he chuckled lightly at how the girl was practically bouncing when she got to be close to Damien again. Heck, she was a breath of fresh air, even if it hadn't been intentional.
Walking over to the two males, Amelita did her best to take her time and walk slowly, but at the end she couldn't contain her excitement anymore and rushed the last few steps to be close to the youngest of them. "Some foreign pack of wolves came and attacked the town. We all got together and fought them off, it was scary, but we won. The town is safe. Though one of the wolves killed me while I still had your blood in my system and Arya's been helping me since," she truly was far more excited than the situation called for, but she was just so glad he was back and safe.
"Just one big, happy family, are we not?" Arya chuckled and gestured for Amelita to come back to her. Scowling at Marcus slightly, she turned to the former huntress once she was back where she belonged and grabbed her hand very tightly. "If you're gonna cause a scene, brother, wait till we get you two home. The town has been through enough already. They don't need the pair of you causing a scene at the airport."

The fact that Marcus just shrugged the whole thing off like that only pissed him off even more. Did Marcus really think he was that helpless....that if a pack of wolves came to Bitter Springs that he would automatically get hurt? He wanted to go off on his maker, but he refrained from such actions and just glared at his sister. He pretty much ignored Amelita for the time being, he was honestly to mad at the moment to even acknowledge that his former pet was now a vampire and clearly full of very enhanced feelings for him.
He just snatched his bag away from Marcus and stormed off, not even bothering to walk behind or beside the two other vampires. Gale of course bounced her way towards him. Least you got to fight. He mumbled and once he saw the car that he knew Arya was driving.

It wasn't that he thought Damien was weak or that he would automatically get hurt. It was rather that he wasn't willing to risk anything when it came to his fledgeling. He knew Arya was full well capable of defending herself and that it had been no way to change her mind about her town, but he would have preferred if she had found a way to stay out of it and stay safe as well. Regardless of how well his family could fight, he preferred when they didn't have to risk their lives for someone else's cause. It hadn't been their fight, and he's more or less hoped that Damien would've been able to see things his way, that he only kept him away because he truly cared.
Amelita was too happy to be around Damien and it made Marcus feel a tinge of jealousy at how happy she was and how clingy. He hadn't known she'd be turned, certainly not so soon, hopefully they'd be able to keep her mellow and her feelings would calm down once she got the hang of things, because right now she had half a mind to snap her neck and wait for her to heal up again so he could keep doing it until she calmed down. There was really no need to be bouncing off the walls just because they were back form London now was there?
"I'm not made for fighting, Damien," she giggled slightly and kept close to her former master. In a way, her master once more as technically he was her sire. "I'd trade with you in a heartbeat," she couldn't help but giggle at the word though. Heartbeat, heart beating, beating heart... She was distracted by a human walking by and Arya had to stop her from going at him and actually shock her back into her senses before she complied and walked quietly next to her new guardian.
The blonde let Amelita by her arm to the car now and placed her in the backseat. "Behave yourself. You know what happens if you misbehave again," she glared at the newborn and closed the door, watching with a silent glee how the overly excited expression on her face changed into one of utter horror as Amelita knew exactly what Arya was implying. The red room of pain... She didn't want that again.
"Damien, don't be mad, I would have preferred if Arya had stayed out as well, but there was no way around her involvement," he tried to reason with the obviously mad boy before he opened the door, letting him into the back with Amelita. He needed a serious talk with Arya and he hated sitting in the back, heck he hated not driving when it was a private car like this. Getting into the front seat, he waited for his oldest to start on the drive before he engaged her in a conversation in old Greek to keep the younger ones out of it. He needed to know all the details and what her plan was for the girl now practically clinging to Damien in the back seat.

He couldn't help but to just scowl at what Marcus had said. He honestly though tthe other had done this because he saw Damien as this beautiful, fragile young boy who needed to be waited on hand in foot. He didn't move and just glared at Marcus and Arya with venom in his eyes, but he looked down once he felt Amelita starting to cling to him. He didn't really know how to react to this new sort of attention and just blinked down at her.
His head snapped back up once Marcus and Arya started to talk in some ancient language that he didn't understand and it only made him more mad that Marcus was keeping him more out of the loop. Yes, he got the idea that some killer wolves had come and attacked Bitter Springs....but why...when.....and how many people lost their lives? He was so full of questions and knew that Marcus or Arya would tell him anything.
He simply wrapped a arm around Amelita, smiling some down at her and kissed her. Yeah, he was somewhat tryin to make Marcus alittle jealous and angry, knowing how his maker got when it came to him.

Arya didn't agree with her maker's way of handling this. She didn't think Damien deserved to be kept in the dark about it all, but she didn't dare speak up as she knew exactly what kind of mood Marcus would be in if she said anything. Looking at Damien through the rear-view mirror, she chuckled slightly at his attempt to make Marcus jealous.
"Damien! Pay attention," [/i] she thought, hoping he'd actually read her mind for once. "Marcus might want you in the dark, but I don't." That was all the attention she was giving Damien as she didn't want Marcus to suspect anything before she launched into a description of the whole thing, images flashing through her mind at the same time. While she was describing things to Marcus in a language neither of the younger ones understood, hopefully Damien would get the picture from her memories of the event. Amelita was thrilled when Damien gave her some attention back and kissed her. She wanted to say something, wanted to tell him she was sorry for running off like she had. If she hadn't, things might have been different. She was too distracted by the kiss to try to say any of the things she'd wanted to say though. Feeling Marcus glare at her, she pulled away and shied away from Damien again. Hopefully he wasn't serious about putting her through a lot of the same training as Arya to make her able to keep absolute control over any given situation. Marcus knew Damien hated to be protected like he just had. And he really had meant it when he said he'd have preferred it if Arya could've stayed out as well. The very idea of his fledgelings being in danger haunted him on a daily basis as they were his family, one way or another. They were all that he had. And now they had one more mouth to feed and take care of, someone who needed to learn her place and stop clinging to Damien like he was her hero. Luckily the pink haired little girl shied away when he glared at her and he could keep getting all the gruesome details from Arya. "Gale sweetie, maybe Damien can take you hunting when we get back?" Arya wasn't trying to get rid of the other two, she was just trying to keep Damien and Marcus apart for a little while so she could reason with their maker to try to fix things. And she'd absolutely had enough of the newborn at the moment with her neediness and clinging to whoever gave her the time of day since she'd woken up.[/center]

He didn't make any movements at hearing Arya's voice and listened intently, taking everything she was telling him and the images into his mind. He was stunned to say the least, but he acted totally calm and cool about the whole thing. He sigh softly and gave Arya a small smile in thanks before looking back to Gale who was now cowering away from him.
He saw Marcus glaring at her and glared right back at him. He didn't think Marcus should punish her just because he kissed her, it would make him even more angrier with the man. He looked to Gale once more and merely wrapped a arm around her, pulling her close and gave her a couraging smile.
Once they got into town, he noticed that there weren't as many people as there used to be and tried not to look visibly upset by the whole thing. Bitter Springs had become his new start...his safe haven and just him not being here to help protect it made him mad and he blamed Marcus for it.
Sure, I'll take you hunting. He said simply and frowned as he looked out the window.

It was good that Damien was smart enough to not make any movements or gave off that he was given the details of the fight. He needed to know, and Marcus didn't need to know that he knew. It was simple really and the smile she got was totally worth it. Maybe they could actually have something in common for once rather than be at each others throats, she sure was thankful for what she had now that everything was said and done.
The fact that Damien hadn't been allowed to fight for his home made her mad as well, even if she could understand where Marcus was coming from with his protectiveness. It was their home, a place they didn't have to hide who they were or what they could do, at least not from most people and it was almost like being back in the old world where magic was a much more regular thing than it was now. People didn't believe in the supernatural like they had back when she was young and keeping their secret had never been as crucial in a world of science as it was today.
Gale had to admit, though Marcus had never been anything but kind to her, he scared her now. Maybe that was just because of what Arya had told her about the man, but she certainly didn't want to make him mad, still it was nice when Damien pulled her close again as she didn't quite like being on her own. Her mind was going so much faster than it had before the whole change and it was confusing to try to keep up at times. Heck, her body reacted to things before her mind had fully processed them these days. She'd be on the opposite side of the room before she'd even realized what had spooked her to run, but maybe Damien would be better at helping her than his sister was.
"I don't want to hurt anyone," she whispered quietly when she'd been told he'd go hunting with her. So far she'd managed not to kill anyone and she'd like to try to keep it that way. It would be the worst thing she'd ever done if she wound up killing someone and it might just break her. Hopefully, and with the help of her new family, she wouldn't have to go through that.
Marcus could only hope Damien wouldn't be mad at him for too long about the whole thing. All he'd ever wanted was for Damien to be safe and sound, out of danger and most importantly happy. They'd had a good time after all, until they had to return to the real world and the problems that included. "Damien..." he said softly and just shook his head, melancholy clear in his tone. He knew what he needed to know about the fight itself and he didn't regret keeping his youngest out of trouble for the most part. Now all he had to do was find a way to make it up to him.
When they finally pulled up to Damien's place, Marcus was out of the car and around to open the door for Damien before he could do anything. Whether or not Gale was getting off at their current location didn't really matter to him as he just needed to know his lover was going to be fine and safe. The newborn would learn her place with time, as they had an endless supply of that now, she could have a little while to get used to her heightened emotions before he started teaching her for real. He could always stay with Arya for a while anyway. It wasn't like he wouldn't have a place to be while he was in town. Maybe it would be for the best if he left for a while, he didn't know anymore.
"Can I go with you?" She asked Damien quietly, not wanting to spend more time with the older vampires if she didn't need to.

At least now he knew what had happened here while Marcus kept his away in London. He looked back to Gale, clearly seeing that the girl was very.....cautious and even frightened by this whole thing and wondered if Marcus would treat her the same way he treated both Arya and him. Although Marcus treated him more of a equal now, when he was first turn he was treated now more than a pet and did hope that Marcus wouldn't use her like that like he used him.
They finally came to a stop and before he could get out on his own, Marcus beated him to the punch. He just sigh and got out now, going to the trunk once it was opened and got his bags out. He looked to Gale when she asked if she could go with him. Yes if you like. He said.

Marcus had every intention of training the girl to be more like Arya. She needed to learn control and fast. They couldn't have a newborn wanting to rip people's throats out just because she could hear their hearts beating. Then again, maybe he'd let Arya train this one, he wasn't really interested in starting all over again, especially when he hadn't had a chance to start while she was human. Arya on the other hand seemed to manage that bit just fine, she had turned out to be more than capable of killing her own as well when they became too high risk to keep around. Like her beloved Jack had back in the day.
It was for the best that Amelita went with Damien and stayed there for however long her brother would have him. The blonde knew all too well what was in store for the newborn if she came with her home and she also knew it wouldn't be Marius treating her like a pet, but herself. She'd spoil the poor girl rotten and then there would be no way around her maker stepping in to save the day. Gale had already enjoyed her first trip to a fraternity party/feeding frenzy without killing anyone, not that she would last long on her own. She was far too impulsive to be let out on her own yet. Heck, she didn't trust the youngling further than she could throw her, and even that was pushing it.
"You're the best," she squealed, practically bouncing out of the car to cling to Damien. Out of the three vampires, Damien was the only one she wasn't afraid of as he was the only one who'd yet to hurt her in one way or another. Of course, with Marcus it was more the threat of what he could do that scared her, but she knew it wouldn't be pretty if he decided she needed his help.
Arya smiled slightly at the two younger vampires and got out of the car herself, grabbing Marcus's arm gently, she smiled at him too. "Come on, we've got business elsewhere." Thankfully, her sire seemed to agree with her and came along without making a mess of things, leaving the youngest along at Damien's place.
"I'm sorry I got scared and made you mad at me," Amelita whined and clung to Damien, really hoping to make everything better again.

Damien was thankful that Arya had grabbed Marcus arm and announced that they had to talk about business. He wondered now if Marcus really viewed him as a business partner, because it seem that Arya was taking over that job. Although he was grateful that she would get their sire out of his hair and leave him to cool off, he did wonder now if Marcus still meant what he said. He jumped some when Gale squealed in happiness, clinging to him and apologizing. Don't think anything of it. He said simply, having a arm wrapped around Gale and headed inside his town house.
He had human pets around and had a feeling that they weren't safe with Gale here. He did have the power to control her and would use that gift it need be. So what do you want to do? He asked.

Amelita didn't know what kind of relationship Arya and Marcus had anymore, but from the looks of it, they got along just fine on most days. She was grateful that she'd been allowed to go with Damien rather than stay around them and have them rub off on her in any way. Truly the last thing she wanted was to become some heartless monster like she knew both of the oldest were more than capable of being over the littlest of things. No need to stress things, after all she had enough on her plate at the moment.
She could practically hear the pets' hearts beating like they were drums. It still confused her, thought she made a real effort to stay close to Damien. As long as none of the pets hurt themselves, she should be able to keep away from them. "What don't I want to do?" she giggled slightly. "I want to make you happy," she said enthusiastically before she took a risk and kissed him.
When she pulled away, she bit her lip slightly, shocked that she actually bit hard enough to start bleeding without noticing. Sucking at her lower lip slightly to stop the bleeding, she looked up at Damien through her lashes. "I want to learn more about what I can do now that I couldn't before."

He was happy that Marcus wouldn't bother him at the moment, he was still mad with the man for keeping him in London the way he did. He should have taken a chance and read his makers thoughts, if he would have he would have just snuck out and hopped on a plane back to Bitter Springs. It still pissed him off some that Marcus still had some control over him through fear. His feelings for the man were like night and day.....there were times when he was absolutely loving towards the man and would submit to any sexual advances he had.....then there were others days when the man could go suck a dick and kiss his ass.
His pets quickly headed upstairs once Damien walked through the door, which was a good idea since Amelita was in their proximity. He was somewhat taken back from her kissing him, but he wrapped his arms around her and returned the gesture. Once he was broken, he merely let her go and watched as she looked all seductive and said she wanted to learn what more she could do. Do you know if you have any special powers. He said.
