Gale was confused by Damien's question about special powers. What kinds of special powers? Everything was still so new and special to her compared to what she was used to. The colors were brighter, her hearing was greatly improved and not to mention of sense of smell. She could still smell Marcus all over Damien just from the airport.

"I don't know what's normal or not just yet. The soft thudding of your pets' feet sound like elephants stomping around, I can still smell Marcus on you and it frightens me. I'm faster, stronger and more agile than a human, but I don't know what qualifies as special and what's just normal. I've only been around Arya and her court of vampires so far, and they've mostly left me to my own," she said and started walking around the living room much like the first time she'd been there. "Not to mention all these feelings, it's driving me nuts."

The newborn wanted to know when it would all stop being so much and be more normal, but she realized maybe she should just be grateful to be alive somehow. It was better than the alternative after all as she'd rather live forever than not at all. "Is it always like this? The constant need to feed, the burning desire to just tear into someone and never stop? Does it ever stop being so overwhelming?" She turned to look back at Damien for a moment and couldn't help the girly giggle that escaped her as she appreciated his good looks.

He listened as Gale explained she didn't even know about any special powers yet. He just shrugged some at her long description on how she felt and such before going to the living room and laid down, stretching out his long legs on the couch and fluffed the pillow up. You'll get use to it. He said.

Gale was pretty much Arya's pet now, since his sister was the one that had been looking out for Gale. He didn't know if he should really try anything with Gale and merely took out a pack of smokes, lighting one up and inhaled deeply. No, that's just how you are going to feel for awhile since you are new to all this. He said.

How was she supposed to know about special powers when no one had even taken the time to show her what was normal? Maybe that was one of those things she just had to figure out with time. She still needed to do a lot of adjusting before she could go back to school again, that was for sure. Right now she wouldn't last five minutes in class with other people before she'd attempt to jump them and eat them. Possibly at the same time.

"You know, you're the reason I'm still in existence, without your blood that fight would've killed me. What's gonna happen next, do I stay with you? Or do I go back to Arya after a while and Marcus?" She was trying to walk slowly, at a human pace, but she kept moving too fast, kept skipping ahead to where she wanted to go without realizing until too late that she was moving too fast.

When she was standing still, she was standing too still. She wasn't fidgeting or anything, which was unusual. Maybe she'd just sit down next to Damien on stare into space. Before she fully processed what had just happened, she found herself sitting on the couch, next to her whatever Damien was to her.

He looked at Gale, hearing her say that if it wasn't for his blood in her system she would have surely died. Well, guess that was true but She wasn't his to keep...Arya had found her and had been helping her...besides he really didn't want to be training a new born. You go back to Arya...or Marcus.....I may have sired you in some way but....I am not ready to be a teacher or anything yet...besides Arya had been helping you since I been gone, it would be best if you just stayed with her. He said.

It was the strangest thing, she'd thought she'd be disappointed to learn that she couldn't stay with Damien, disappointed to learn that she had to stay with the other members of their strange family. Instead, she found that she wanted to go back to Arya and learn from the blonde since that's what Damien wanted her to do. She'd never expected to be able to just leave Damien like that and learn from his family, but apparently that's what she wanted to do now.

"Ok, I'll stay with her then. It's not like I can go home to my hunter family and werewolf dad anyway, so I guess I'll just have to find my place in my new family instead," She was smiling though, there was no bitterness toward her sire one way or another as she just wanted to do what would make him happy. If not looking after a newborn made his life easier, then he wouldn't have to babysit her until she had everything under control.

"I can still stay just for the night, right?" She was biting her lip gently and looked at Damien with her best puppy eyes. There was no way she wanted to go back to Marcus at the moment, he still frightened her. "What's Marcus like? I mean, he's been nothing but kind to me before, but that's because I was your pet, I don't know how he'll be now..."

He wondered when Arya and Marcus would return. He knew that he could keep Amelita under control with his mind control......but often new borns were more stronger than older vampires and that right there somewhat worried him. He didn't have any experience with taking care of new borns.....usually he stayed away from new borns because he found them annoying. A soft sigh left him as he put the cigarette out and looked to Amelita.

If you want to....your'll have to go home though if Arya or Marcus come back and want you to leave with them. He said.

What she asked next made him pinch the bridge inbetween his eyes. He had a idea of what life would be like for Amelita now that she was apart of their little family. Well....he'll more likely be controlling towards you, and won't hesitate in hurting you if you disobey him.....I found that living with him when I was turned to be suffocating....the man wouldn't let me do my own thing and treated me like I was a pet....I hated it..... He said.

Gale knew there were lots of things she didn't understand about being a vampire just yet, but she was hoping someone would take the time to teach her before long. If she had to go on living by hearsay and rumors, she wouldn't last very long in this new life of her. Sadly it seemed it would have to be the older vampires who she'd have to seek out for guidance since Damien seemed determined not be responsible for her. It would just have to work out one way or another and she would have to adapt to her new situation. The faster they sorted out where she'd be, the faster she'd learn what she needed to learn so she could be introduced back into society.

So she'd go with Arya or Marcus if they came to collect her and she'd be a proper pet this time around. A vampire pet to a vampire. Strange how the world worked. But that was what her life was like now, and she seemed to have no say in the matter. "So I'll just have to be a better pet than I was to you then and everything will be fine?" she asked and leaned into her maker. "I hope I can stay with Arya then, she seems less scary, despite her red room of pain," a giggle escaped her at the mere memory of her first trip there. It had been completely accidental that she'd stumbled onto Arya's little room.

"At least I won't be cold this winter."

Pretty much, if you pull that crap that you pulled when you got drunk and called me with either Arya or Marcus, I am sure they would have done way worst than I did..... He admitted softly. He looked at her once more and sigh before standing up. Do you want anything to drink, I have blood in the fridge. He said.

He wondered when Marcus and Arya were coming back? He wanted to go out and have some fun, and to least see what kind do damage that the town suffered since Marcus had been so kind to leave him out of the loop.

Gale knew full well that she'd been in the wrong when she'd called Damien that night and expected to get away with it. She really hadn't meant for the situation to get that out of hand, but she'd been scared and jumpy because he'd never actually hurt her before that. Whenever she'd been with Damien, she'd always done exactly what he wanted of her, except that time when she freaked out just because she was too scared to face her punishment. Maybe if she managed to do better, she wouldn't have to be scared of Marcus or Arya.

Speak of the devil. Just as she was about to answer Damien's question and decline his offer, as she wasn't really thirsty, her new master arrived. It seemed she'd shaken off Marcus somewhere along the way as the scary head of the family was nowhere to be seen when Arya entered the living room after having let herself in. "Marcus wants you home now, apparently you've had enough time to catch up and get over your newborn feelings," she said with a slight smile and pulled Amelita to her feet and to the blonde's side.

"You're free to do whatever you want, Damien. I managed to give Marcus something to work on that'll keep him busy for quite some time. At least you don't have to babysit the newborn anymore unless you want to." Gale apparently had nothing to say in the matter as the moment she'd been about to speak up, Arya had shocked her again. "You'll speak when spoken to," she practically snarled at the youngling and tightened her grip on the girl's arm, almost to the point of breaking it.

Before Gale could get anything out, in walked in Arya and he just looked up at his sister with a somewhat bored expression now. He watched as Arya gripped Gales arm, frowning some at how controlling his sister was being. Trying to be like Marcus now are we? He said and shook his head. He had hoped that Arya would be alittle bit nicer to Gale than Marcus, but he wondered now if his sister would be nice to the newborn.

He just went to the kitchen then, grabbing a blood bag and punched a hole in it. He poured the liquid into a cup and drowned it in one gulp before heading back into the living room. He got a text from Macus but ignored it, clearly still mad at his maker.

Arya merely chuckled at Damien's statement. There was no point trying to be like Marcus, just like there was no point in handling Gale like she was made of porcelain. After all, if Marcus was going to help train her, she needed to be prepared. "She needs to know what's expected of her so she doesn't have to deal with Marcus' bad side, brother. I'm merely looking out for your interests here," she mused, watching Gale struggle when the smell of blood reached her.

Gale hadn't been thirsty until she smelled the blood and would have rushed at Damien to steal it from him if it hadn't been for Arya's strong grip on her arm. It was obvious the blonde was trying to be nice to her for the most part, but also establish that she was in fact in charge of the situation. "Yes?" "Do we have to go right now?" she asked cautiously and shrunk slightly in her place when Arya just chuckled at her and nodded.

"Try not to be so hard on him, Damien. He only did want to keep you safe at any cost," she said with a smile as she started to guide Gale to the front door. "He'll expect your work done by Monday."

Damien just scowled at what she said about Marcus and ran a hand through his hair. I'm tired of him babying me though...... He mumbled and watched as Gale struggled with the smell of blood. He sigh and picked up the binder that was on the nightstand beside of the couch. It was the work he had to finish up by Monday and simply opened it up and decided to get started on it.

He wondered if Marcus was going to try and come by later and looked up to Arya. Is he going to try and stop by later? He asked.

Arya couldn't help but chuckle again at the statement her brother gave on the subject of being babied. "If I give him Amelita, he won't baby you as much anymore. He usually is quite overprotective until he gets a new charge to take care of." She would know, he'd been just as hard on her and kept her out of harms way before Damien came around. The moment Marcus laid eyes on Damien, regardless of how much freedom she'd had before, she was free. Marcus was too distracted by Damien to worry too much about Arya and had even attempted to marry her off to get rid of her so she wouldn't do whatever she wanted right in front of him.

Damien was still young, regardless of how much time their maker had spent with him, she knew him better than anyone. The man had turned her life around, kept her safe and treated her like a queen from time to time, other times she'd just been his pet. It wasn't until Damien came around that she was regarded as more of an equal, even if he still maintained the right to seriously hurt her whenever he pleased. That was fine with her though, she sought him out just for that from time to time anyway.

"I'll make sure he's busy so you can have some time to cool off without his over-protectiveness getting in the way. He has work to do anyway. Unless you want him to come over?"

Watching the two siblings interact and the mere idea of being handed off to Marcus like some trophy made Amelita feel very little where she was standing. Then again, maybe they'd find some greater purpose for her that way so she wasn't always in the way of everyone, being shipped around like some loon. Maybe between the pair of them, Arya and Marcus could make it so she could return to school sooner rather than later. Or at the very least to DJing again. Or maybe some target practice for the vampires, she was aching to get busy with something.

What Arya said made him cock an eyebrow. He didn't know that was how Marcus thought....it was like the guy needed someone to work on and just cast his finished projects away. He shook his head, laying back on the couch now and stared up at the ceiling. Isn't she your pet though? He asked and inhaled the cigarette, exhaling through his nose and sigh softly.

No I don't want him to come over....he can just stay away. He said softly.

"She is, but I don't mind sharing," Arya replied with a shrug. After all, she had plenty of other obligations, so if Marcus wanted to help the newbie out, he was more than welcome to, even if she would try her best at teaching the girl herself. There was no point just handing her back and forth anyway, she needed a strict hand and continuity for a while to get really settled into her new lifestyle.

"I'll keep him away then," she chuckled and waved a swift goodbye at her brother before she was out the door, guiding Amelita home.
