Casey heard what was the agreement between Alec and Marcus, but it was still internally debating on just picking alec up and locking him and itself in there and away from both the vampires. It knew it couldn't do that though as the boy needed to learn how to survive as this new kind of monster. The dragon accepted the kiss with a purr, unable to stop its hair and eyes from turning pink. It quickly controled itself though as Alec started to ask if it was alright to return later.

"You're welcome whenever you like, though try not to bring anyone else along..."

Casey couldn't help to glare some at Marcus as it said this. It was one thing when it had humans in the cemetery to mourn over the dead, but it was another thing entirely when vampires and werewolves started to enter what it considered its home.

It seemed both Alec and Casey agreed to his proposal of taking the kid out shopping before he could return to the dragon. Seeing the pair together really made his mind up about the whole pet business. There was no way he would force Alec to be his anything really. He'd treat the kid as a son, it was much more appropriate and it wouldn't drive a wedge between him and Damien in case there was a chance he could fix that whole issue.

"Don't worry Casey, in the future we'll just drop Alec off outside your precious cemetery. I just wanted to make sure he got here safely." The vampire really had no need to walk Alec all the way to the crypt again in the future, he knew the boy was safe with the dragon, and he knew he'd be safe as soon as he touched down on the cemetery. There was no need to get all over protective when there was no danger at all.

"I'll wait for you in the car," he said and walked away, giving the boys some time alone. Besides, he needed to make sure Amelita and Juliette weren't too bored. They would all go out and eat before they went shopping, after all the stores wouldn't open for a little while longer anyway.

He knew that Marcus had only come in because he wanted to make sure that he got here okay. He blushed some and nodded to what Casey requested and watched Marcus walk off to the car. He spent a few more moments with Casey before having to leave. He got into the car and sat down beside of Marcus. "Um could I talk to you in a more private setting...." He requested softly .

He wanted to make it clear to Marcus that he wasn't going to sleep with the other now. He wanted to be dedicated now to Casey.

Marcus wondered what Alec would want to talk to him about in a more private setting, but merely nodded to show that he would hear him out. The girls were busy giggling in the backseat, clearly having found something to bond over already.

They passed a lonely girl on the way home and he was almost about to suggest they pick her up and practice the whole snatch and erase thing, but decided against it. The pets were far safer for now. Arya was waiting for them outside when they arrive, holding a thick blanket and looking absolutely furious. He knew she didn't like that he kept bringing strays to her place, but he had no option right now. Getting out of the car, he ushered Juliette towards the door before he and Arya covered up Amelita so she could exit the car and run inside without getting burned.

Arya showed the girls rather reluctantly to their rooms, going to feed Amelita herself to see if she couldn't break whatever hold Damien had over the girl still that way. Secretly, he thought Arya had grown rather fond of the huntress.

Bringing a pet with him, Marcus guided Alec into his study. "Be careful, just a small bite and only drink what you need. Don't worry, I won't let you hurt her," he said calmly. They could talk in there privately once Alec was fed and he really would stop the boy if he was hurting the pet. The girl however was perfectly calm and standing in front of the newborn, waiting for whichever way he decided to feed from her.

Alec was quite during the ride home and smiled some as he watched Jules and Amelita talking like two school girls who were best friends. Once they came home, he saw Arya looking furious as ever and kept quite and just looked down to not feel her wrath. He followed Marcus closely behind him and sat down once they got to the mans office. He didnt want to drink from the girl and made a small face at the thought.

He tried to ignore the smell of blood as he looked to his maker."I wanted to talk to you about the whole pet thing.......I don't want to sleep with you.....I really like Casey....." He said

Marcus frowned slightly when Alec didn't want to drink. The boy needed to feed in order to not become a monster that would attack random stranger just for food. He never wanted the boy to kill anyone if he could avoid it. In fact, he'd like nothing more than to keep him innocent for as long as possible. He didn't even get upset when the boy addressed the pet issue.

"Well, like I said, I'm not going to force you to do anything you don't want to do. Since you don't really have a family anymore, how would you feel about being treated more as a son than a pet?" He said, understanding where the boy was coming from. He couldn't be forcing the boy to be his pet if he wanted to make things right with Damien and if he loved the dragon, Marcus wouldn't stop him.

"I wasn't looking for another pet when I turned you, I thought Amelita could use someone closer to her age to feel less alone. Now drink, please? If you don't want human blood, you can drink from me instead and we'll work our way up to taking only what you need from humans?"

He didn't know how Marcus was going to take this new arrangements. He had a feeling that Marcus didn't really think of him as a pet...but he needed to get this straightened out if he ever wanted anything with Casey to work. He waited patiently, finding the human girl just standing over him being somewhat annoying and didn't want to feed from her at the moment.

He listened as Marcus reassured him that he wasn't going to be use in that way and was somewhat taken back at the proposal.....being a son to Marcus? He had lost his father and mother already since he was turn....so......he would be treated more like a son to the man than a pet. That made him smile now and he actually got up and hugged Marcus.

I would like that very much. He said and quickly sat down, not wanting Marcus to get mad at him or anything.

He sigh as he looked up at the human girl for a moment. Could I feed from blood bags....I really don't like just....feeding from someone.... He said.

It was good that they got the their relationship sorted out sooner rather than later. Besides, Alec would need a family around him that could help him adjust to his new situation without having to worry too much about how they would treat him. He'd personally make sure Arya saw his point of things, he knew she had a softer side to her somewhere, he just needed to bring it out when it came to the young ones. Maybe he'd need to bribe her a little, but she'd come around.

The hug was a surprise, but he couldn't help but smile at the newborn, hugging him back slightly. Looking at the human girl at Alec's request, he nodded his head slightly at her and she got up and left. "If blood bags is what it takes to keep you healthy, then that's what we'll do," he chuckled. The most important thing was that the newborn was healthy, so he was willing to compromise with blood bags. "Amelita is excited to take you shopping later, don't be modest about what you want. You need clothes that fit you properly and she'll take you to the graveyard later. As long as Casey is ok with you staying, you can come and go more or less as you please, as long as you check in once in a while and don't starve yourself," he said gently and looked up to see the same human pet enter the room and hand a blood bag to Alec.

"Munching human food or drinking alcohol muffles the cravings, but eventually you'll have to drink blood in one form or another. You'll get used to it." He was trying his best to be gentle with the boy, but it had been so long since he'd dealt with kids. None of his other fledgelings had been so fragile, but he'd make sure Alec got adjusted and learned more about what he could do now that he wasn't a mere mortal anymore.

He was happy that he had gotten the whole pet ordeal out of the way. He did wonder if maybe Marcus had someone special in his life. The man seem like he was desperately missing someone. He sigh softly and watched as the human girl left and returned with a bag of blood. He smiled in thanks and took it, biting into the back and drank the contents rather greedily. He sigh in content and looked back to Marcus.

Okay...... He said softly and couldn't help but to almost look sad again in thinking of his now lost family. Sure, Marcus was trying to give him a new one but he didn't know these people well enough to call family.

Marcus was pleased when Alec emptied the blood bag because the last thing he wanted was for the boy to starve. As if on cue, Amelita walked in just then, ready to take the boy out shopping. This would be her first trip out more or less on her own since she was turned herself, so he was probably going to be restless and anxious until she got back as he didn't know how well she was coping with large crowds of people yet. Then again, maybe there wouldn't be that many people at the mall right when it opened.

"Ready to go?" The pink-haired vampiress asked, eager to prove herself. Arya had taught her well, and she was sure she would manage the mall a lot better than she'd handled the airport when she was still just a few weeks old. More than anything, she wanted to have Juliette come along as well, but Arya had flat out refused to let the blonde out just yet. She would make it her mission in life to find Arya's soft spot, just like she had with Marcus, that way she couldn't possibly be so mean to her anymore. Or to Juliette really. Maybe she was just in desperate need of someone to keep her company?

"I promise I'll bring you anything you want to try on, and we'll be out of the shop in record time, I'm anxious to get to know our new room mate better," she said enthusiastically and had to stop herself from picking up Alec and just carry him to the car.

He was glad that he had gotten this all squared away and looked up once Amelita came in. He blinked at what she said and made a sound of disproval at being lifted up now and just gave Marcus this helpless look before e was taken away to the car against his will. He did wished that he could go back home and just get his old cloths, but his father would surely kill him if he showed up at his house. His father hated vampires so much.
