It was nice to have been home now. Alec was nervous about going to see Casey, especially since he hadn't told Casey he had left and snuck out from the dragons protective hold. Damien had someone picked him and Marcus up since Alec took his own way to the dragons home. The ride back to his home was full of chatter and the car finally stopped infront PC the home. He got pug and unlocked the door for them. He locked the door behind Marcus and hugged his love. "I thought I lost you." He said and kissed him deeply.

Gabriel wondered how long Arya would stay. If she wanted to come, then she would have to be on his best behavior and ElizAbeth and her would have to get along with one another.

Marcus felt whole again. He knew what had happened to him, why he didn't remember and what it was that he'd lost. He couldn't really ask for more. Not when he had Damien by his side to love and adore. He hadn't really changed with the new memories, just gotten more insightful as to what drove him to begin with. He wanted nothing more than to live with his love now. No more going on trips on his own to find answers, they could finally just be alone and happy. As long as Arya stayed away that was.

"I thought I'd lose you," he said once he'd broken the kiss. "Don't ever put yourself in danger like that again, regardless of how worried you are. I'd rather you be safe than risk everything for me, I'm not worth you risking your life." He said, dead serious as he brought Damien to his bedroom, wanting nothing more than to be close to his lover now. Sure, he never wanted to die, but his life wasn't worth Damien and Alec risking theirs as they were both much better people than he could ever dream to become. The world would just lose one more power-hungry vampire if he fell, while Damien and Alec were different.

Arya didn't like being left behind, but it presented her with an opportunity to think for herself once she felt the connection with her maker fade away when he crossed the ocean to get home. They seemed to be pushing one another more often than not lately and it always wound up with someone getting hurt. This time she knew it would be herself as she knew Marcus would have planned some form of medieval torture for her when she returned. She wasn't interested at the moment, and gladly did what was instructed of her. When the time came for the others to leave, she didn't go with them. She would visit some old friends before returning home, more determined than ever to drive her maker out of her town. He couldn't have it both ways anymore. He couldn't keep her almost as a pet and love her brother all at the same time and she'd rather he took Damien with him and left town.
