He looked down for a moment and started to think onwhat he should do. It would make Marcus jealous if he went with Guy to New York. He nodded at the last statement. Arya and Marcus got into fights, so that didn't surprise him. "So, do you wasn't to just get back at Marcus, or.do you really want me to give you a chance?" He asked. He wanted to know what Guys intentions were before he would he.would go anywhere with him.

He moved alittle closer to Guy, their was about.three inches.of.space between the two. He had to tilt his head up and stared at the vampire. "You look familiar...." He said softly.

Guy was glad that Damien seemed to be calming down again. He hated to see people in pain like that, especially when they were so beautiful. "I wish you would give me a chance, but if you don't want to, I won't force you. I'm not going to try to change your mind about anything, or force you to do anything you don't want to do. "

The vampire smiled slightly at Damien when he moved a little closer. When he learned that Damien recognized him from somewhere, he figured it was time to be honest about that as well. "That's because you've seen me before, when you were human. I grew up in the castle that overlooked your village. By the time you arrived with your mother, I had been a vampire for a few decades. I failed you once, when I was unable to stop the assault on the village, let me try to make it up to you now."

While it was true that he'd been unable to fight off the raiders with his own guards, they had managed to get a few people to the safety of his castle and they had killed a few of the assailants as well, they just hadn't been able to stop them before it was too late. "As a thank you for saving as many people as I could, Marcus sent Jacqueline to my castle."

So he did want a chance, making Marcus mad probably would be just the cherry on the cake. He wanted to make his maker made, hell he wanted.to break his heart and if the man did care for him the way Guy said he did .then he knew what he had to do. Once Guy revealed this, his blue eyes widen some. He knew that he had seen this man from somewhere. The lord was always a kind man to him and his mother, he liked the man even and had even had.conversations with him. Damien had trusted the lord a great deal, but that was when he was human.

He couldn't help but to reach out and gently placed his hand on the mans cheek. "I thought I would never see you again." He admitted with a smile. His trust with Guy had gone up, not all the way, but he trusted him ten percent now. He would have read his mind, but he didn't want to make Guy angry. He leaned forward and kissed him gently, figuring that he could read the mans true intentions and feelings this way.

It was obvious that Damien recognized him for real when he learned who Guy was. He'd been a young vampire back then, looking for something to make him feel human again and the best way to do that was to be kind and gentle with the people of his village so they would let him walk freely among them. His family had known about his change for some time, but they couldn't take the castle from him since the people like him so much and they didn't want to risk an uprising.

Guy leaned in to the touch and smiled at Damien. "I've seen you only one other time since your transformation. I never thought he'd turn you, but I was glad to see you, even if I couldn't leave the castle for a long time after Marcus sent the necromancer to my service quite on purpose." Guy was gentle when Damien kissed him, and gently returned the kiss. He wouldn't push it too far, he'd cared for Damien far too much while he was a young man to take advantage of him now.

Breaking the kiss, Guy stepped back slightly and caressed Damien's cheek. "You and your mother taught me a lot. I don't know exactly what you're used to with Marcus, but I'm nothing like him," he said and reached for Damien's hand, gently bringing it to his lips. "Come to New York with me, no strings attached, no expectations," he said, expecting Damien to make his own choice. He'd rather persuade the man to come with him rather than force him. Releasing Damien's hand again, he smiled slightly.

This was a big surprise. He never thought he would ever see Guy again, mainly because Marcus had taken him from his home. He had no idea that Guy was really a vampire when he was human, he was always so nice to him and the rest of the villagers. The kiss finally broke and he gently leaned into the touch, it felt comforting to say the least. A smile graced his face when Guy said him and his mother taught him alot. He had a feeling that his mother would want him to give Guy a chance and now he was starting to think he should.

"When should we leave?" He asked, pretty much answering the vampires question. It was no longer just to make Marcus upset, he now wanted to get to know Guy more. He had sometimes thought about Guy, like what had happened to him and such. He actually hugged Guy, hiding his head in the vampires chest. He had always felt safe with Guy, as a human he enjoyed the mans company.

It seemed there was a reason why Arya hadn't wanted him to tell Damien who he really was. She hadn't really wanted him to succeed when it came to taking Damien away from their maker, or maybe she'd wanted him to tell him on his own time and succeed that way, there was no way of knowing for sure. He was just glad that he'd been given a chance to make Damien feel better again.

"We can leave whenever you want to," he said smiling, relieved that Damien had agreed to go with him. It wasn't hard to tell that he was happy to be given a chance to catch up with the younger male and he gladly hugged him back, holding him close and safe, glad he could help. If he'd been able to go back in time, he would have taken both Damien and his mother in and kept them both safe. As it was, that was just wishful thinking, now he just had to focus on giving Damien something else to think about for a while.

"I know this great place I think you'll enjoy," he murmured, pulling back just enough to look at Damien, but not wanting to let him out of his embrace just yet. "I'm glad Arya convinced me to come here, I've been looking for you from time to time, but you've been well hidden from the world. No one in the old circles know where to find any of you, so it was just pure luck that I should run across Arya in London." Guy really had been looking for Damien, but not originally because of romantic interests. He'd wanted Damien for his talents and how easy they'd gotten along back in the day, he still wanted Damien because of those reasons. He just also wanted to make sure the man was fine and happy, in whatever way he could help.

"Marcus didnt want anyone finding me, plus I try to keep a low....profile there's still people out there that would try to take me and I know what would happen if they did." He said. Damien knew what his fate could be like if the wrong person found him. Not everyone was a pervert, he knew that but slot of the ones that really would go out of their wait just to find him were

"Could we leave tonight.....I just want.to leave and I want to catch up with you." He said and gave his cheek a kiss.

He didn't pull away either, but he knew that they would have to head back to his home so he could get his cloths."Let's head back to my house." He said, gently grabbing his hand and tughe's. His car was still at Aryas but he would get it later. He sent a text to Arya, telling her that he would be back to get his car in a few says.

It made perfect sense that Marcus didn't want anyone to find Damien, not only because he was quite possessive of Damien, but also because it was what was best for everyone. If the wrong person found Damien and took him out of town against his will, not only would Damien more than likely be abused, but it would be like Helen of Troy all over again and start a war that would be very costly to everyone. The Marcus he'd crossed paths with in the past, had not been shy about what lengths he'd go to get his lover back, which was probably why few ever dared to defy the man.

So they would leave right away, that suited Guy perfectly. The faster they left Marcus behind, the safer they'd both be really. He made a mental note to thank Arya for this though as despite their reasons, she did actually do him a favor and he was grateful to be given a chance to catch up with Damien again, so he gladly followed the man to his house. Some said Guy was too compassionate to be a good vampire, that his kindness was a weakness, but Guy himself always saw his compassion for others as his greatest strength. It meant he didn't have to scheme and plot his way through life, he got where he wanted to be because people generally liked him.

Back at the manor, neither vampire had spoken a word since Arya's apology. There was nothing left to say, they were both out of rage and the living room was completely trashed. It wasn't until Arya got a text that either got up from the floor and the blonde was eagerly sending a text back to Damien, telling him to enjoy himself and that Gale would pick him up from the airport whenever it was he got back and drive him wherever he wanted to go. She couldn't be happier that Damien had decided to go out of town with Guy for a few days.

Damien decided he woukd leave Alec ghe house whike he was away. He sent a tlepathic message to his brother and left the keys under the mat. Once they got back to his home, he went to.pack some of his thinfs before lockinf up, putting the key under the mat. He half expected Marcus to be ay his house to convince him not to go, but maybe Marcus didnt know or either care. He looked at Guy with a small smile before following the.vampire out the door.

They headed to the airport. He honestly didn't know what to expect or what would happen on this trip, but a small part of him was actually excited about this trip.
