Clu had been wondering a bit aimlessly in the park. Dressed in all white, from a white summer dress to white shoes, she was almost ghost like. Some looked at her oddly as she walked around, face blank and eyes looking just as empty. She didn't have a book with her for once, her father figure having taken them away so she could go out and get some sun.
Blue green eyes wanted to collect more samples, her mind never focusing on being more human even if it was the "objective" her father have her. Something in her always told her that wasn't part of what she is, but she could use more understanding of emotion. She ended up just standing amongst some flowers then, staring out at everyone. She almost appeared lost in some sense.

No one approached Kevin as he walked by, though he could feel eyes staring. A simple smile lay on his face as he strolled in the park, enjoying the sun and decent breeze. Whispers fluttered behind him, hands covering sides of faces as people pondered over the stranger that had just walked past. It wasn't their fault, and Kevin felt it wasn't really his either.
He wore a simple blue-grey t-shirt that hugged his form tightly without being overt about it. For pants, he wore a pair of beige cargo shorts. Nothing made him stand out with his clothing, everything screamed average about him.
It was his face. The bridge of his nose was still a little puffy from the break, a nasty yellow blossomed at the center and spread into a deep purple under his eyes where the blood had pooled after the punch. The edges of his bruises were pale greens and yellows, the deepest part of the bruise a vibrant shade of painful purple.
Kevin just whistled as he walked, careful not to smile too big lest he anger the bruise.

Clu just stood observing everyone, eyes scanning until she saw a human she wasn't familiar with. She didn't so much as blink as she analyzed his face from the current distance. She had never seen injuries as he had before, at least not in person. She moved to follow him then, not finding it off as her mind was set on a target now. The one thing she strong in her was child-like curiosity she always had to satisfy.
She didn't care where in the park the man was going, picking up her pace to walk next to him. She wasn't very aware staring wasn't too polite with human, eyes constantly glancing over, her blank expression searching his face for details.

The footsteps were quiet, but kept pace with his own too well after a scurry of a faster pace. Raising one eyebrow, he looked to his silent, staring walking companion. He tried to smile politely at the at the strange female, only to wince in pain from the obnoxious bruise on his face.
It was a constant reminder of his failure, that he had dropped a fight he knew he wouldn't win. Kevin would make certain that never happened again. Now, whenever he went out, he kept his concealed weapons license on him and put it to good use. The feeling of the heavy metal always put him at ease. Humans couldn't match supernaturals in hand to hand, or even melee. Projectile weaponry worked best. The faster, the better.
Kevin eyed the girl beside him, wondering what exactly it was she wanted, "Can I help you?" His voice was not perturbed, but held genuine concern. Maybe she was lost and awkward at talking to strangers. His pace didn't change, a slow and steady stroll.

Clu just kept staring, eyes focused solely on her target. She didn't pick up on this smile so much, eyes only blinking at him before carrying on with following. She kept pace until he talked to her. Clu wasn't one to deal with conversation too well, her voice lacking emotion and seeming more like a computer:cold and calculated. "I am trying to calculate the damage to your face and the percentage of healing rate. I have not seen this damage on an individual before." She kept walking, acting as if nothing was wrong with her behavior in any form.

The girl was off-putting, her alien speech patterns mildly unnerving. Kevin tried not to portray his uneasy emotions, for once, thankfully, his bruised face helped with that. His face didn't tend to give off any kind of emotion as he tried to keep it as solemn as possible in hopes that the throbbing in his nose would recede.
"The damage, little lady, is from my broken nose, and it should be cleared up in a week, two weeks." At least the outer pain would be finished. His nose would still be tender to touch for weeks to come as the cartilage and probably a little bit of bone nit himself together. He was lucky it was a clean break, and he hoped his nose wouldn't be misshapen once fully healed.
He took a sideways glance to his walking companion, wondering at her odd behavior.

Clu listened then, hearing her target of sorts explain. Blue-green eyes followed him as easily as her feet did, blinking as if she was processing the information. "Interesting." She still looked focused on him, not wanting to leave the man alone yet. She didn't care how strange she might seem, she wanted to learn and nothing was going to stand in her way.

Kevin assumed the girl was nor more than a teenager, probably nearing her twenties, but couldn't possibly be past that. "You alright miss...?" He left the end of the sentence anonymous, so the girl could fill in whatever name she went by. Kevin wasn't particularly interested in why she was following him, just noting that she was.
"Don't you have school to attend or somesuch?" He didn't really know what time it was, but it seemed odd that such a girl would be left... well to be honest alone. If she questioned the world, then she probably at least needed a chaperon, Kevin searched the local area for one such character.

Clu kept watch, not letting her target leave her sights as he talked. She heard the open ended question, her voice empty as she responded. "Bambi Harrison." She stared at him, eyes looking a touch confused at the question. She didn't stop unless he did, giving her answer in her cold voice. "I have no classes today. I have been required by my father figure to leave my room in order to "get some sun" as he had worded the objective. I require the need to satisfy any and all curiosities, making you and the visible damage to your facial structure my new objective."

Kevin nodded his head, her voice making him a little uncomfortable. She spoke as if she had been programmed in speech, words had places and it all settle into sentences. It seemed to Kevin she was a strange girl indeed.
"Nice to meet you Bambi." Poor little lamb, he thought, though he felt deer may be a little more appropriate. "Getting sun isn't so bad.." His voice trailed off as he closed his eyes and cautiously turned his face to the sun, he was afraid of every movement, the pain grating at his nerves. Satisfied the upward movement didn't hurt, he returned his eyes to Bambi.
"Don't you have friends to giggle around?" He didn't like that the girl was fluttering around him and questioning him because he'd had his face smashed in by a brute.

Clu wasn't aware she was making the man uncomfortable. All that ever mattered to her was obtaining her objectives. Many found h to be cold and more of a scare than anyone they could call a friend, and she didn't care much about it. "I ha e no friends. Individuals are scared or find my manner of speaking to be rude.i have no objective that requires I make friends." She'd said many things about others that just angered them. It wasn't that she was some judge, but her vast knowledge seemed to make others upset with her and how she bluntly corrected others. Clu just kept following, eyes starting at the mound and mound of shoes.

There wasn't anything Kevin could say that would be honest and comforting to the girl, which made it better that she didn't seem to mind. "Well, you do sound a bit... honestly, a bit like my GPS. Tell me to take the next turn." He grinned briefly before it turned into a squint of pain. Still uncomfortable, but finding that was his existence in this town, Kevin decided that the girl could use a friend.
"If you promise to never say, 'I can't do that Dave', I think we'll get along just fine." He didn't quite expect her to get it, but chuckled once softly and under his breath at his own joke. His humor was a curse really, and his mouth tended to get him into more trouble than he could handle at times. Please see Exhibit A: Broken Nose.

Clu listened to him speak of how her voice was off putting and sounding like a car GPS of some kind. She stared st him, nothing seeming to phase her too much. "I am unable to portray emotion correctly in a manner that appears natural." She seemed to suddenly be distracted by the manner in which the other looked pained, something she didn't understand. She went silent for a moment, unable to understand the reference before focusing on what she wanted to understand about his face. "The expression you make when you laugh or smile. I do not comprehend what expression of emotion that is." Clu's brain didn't process pain like a human's did, she couldn't feel pain correctly. One could only see that being useful with the fact that she can recover from just about any wound and not even bat an eyelash.

He looked at her a little odd, then found himself explaining, as though her curiosity deserved to be satisfied, even though she was, well odd. Off even. Not entirely sure why he had to explain pain to a teenage girl, as he thought all teenage girls only knew pain. Wasn't that why they wrote so many tormented poems and complained about it? Regardless, Kevin went on to say, "These lovely colors on my face aren't a mating display, it's not because I wanted it there. It hurts whenever my face moves to much." He expressed this by opening his mouth wide, forcing his cheeks up, which in turn caused him to wince. "It's unpleasant. Uncomfortable.. Lots of 'un's." He kept trying different words hoping one would click in her mind. She acted as if from another planet and she was here studying people. He shrugged it off, probably one of those super Sci-Fi kids that never 'got any sun', hence her father's command.
Kevin had to wonder if there was something in the water. Everyone in town seemed... strange. As if they woke up in a world unconnected from everywhere else and made up their own rules for how people should interact. He'd have to mention these events in his next report, maybe the specialists could make something of it he hadn't been able to. There was already evidence of a powerful supernatural, he just needed to see how far the nest went.

Clu listened to him explain just wht was going on in his expression. She listened carefully, brain processing every word of what the man was saying. She didn't speak for a moment, silence filling the space between them. "I understand, your expression ans sound are responses to pain created by the damage to your face.i am unable to process pain in my body. I am only able to identify strong expressions of pain or wounds."
