He needed to work on his target practice of course. He decided to go down to the shooting range, wanting to practice his skill alike bit more. He put on a black tank top and blackbasket ball shorts. He loaded up his choice of gun which was a decent size hand gun and his pistol off course. He normally didn't choose guns, but they came in handy at long range and mid range fighting.
He put on the protective earmuffs, already a paper target was loaded and standing still. He took aim, firing and hit the center dead on. He continue to fire not stop, till there was a decent size hole in the center of the paper target.he wasn't paying much attention to what was going on around him.

outfitEmily was still upset about her run in with her dad and how she'd almost been brought back to a lifestyle she didn't enjoy. Though now that it had finally sunk in that the Rileys were gone, that Oliver might not be coming back from where he was, the only thing that was holding her back from going to her dad was the fact that she knew he'd hurt her physically. She had nothing to lose as far as anything else went, it was just that she didn't want to be tortured whenever she messed up anymore. How she would let her father know that was unknown to her. So she'd gone to the one place she could think clearly. The shooting range. Emily had been given a gun as her hunting weapon, loading it with silver or wooden bullets according to what she was hunting at the time as she always had her abilities if her gun skills were sub par. As it was, she'd found that she actually enjoyed shooting a target as a way to feel better. The redhead walked into the range and got set up, putting on protective glasses as well as the earmuffs. Her first shot missed the center of the target, but her next shot hit exactly where the first one had hit. She managed to hit a third on in the same place before hitting the bulls-eye with the remaining ammo in her clip.

He started loading his gun again, looking to his right and saw a red head who had a pretty good aim. He looked at her for a moment before reloading his gun again. He shot the next round, hitting the same spot again. He didn't want to waste to many bullets and decided to go to his pistol now. He put the remaining bullets back into their clip and put the gun on safety. He sat down, taking the earmuffs off and started loading the pistol.
He normally didn't check girls out, but there was something attractive about a girl who could shoot. He looked up again before closing the round and cocked the gun.

The shooting range had always felt like the one place in the world where she could clear her head. Even Oliver hadn't known she liked to come here to think. It was obvious she needed a new place to live and not list her address anywhere. At least until that council woman got to her father and compelled him so he wouldn't hurt her anymore.
While she was reloading her gun, Emily had the feeling of being watched and put her gun down before whirling around. "Can I help you with something?" she asked, really not liking the fact that he'd been looking her way. It wasn't that he wasn't good looking, it was just that she was a bit paranoid that anyone watching her had anything to do with her dad.
It didn't even phase her that she should take it as a compliment.

He looked up at the question."It's nothing ma'am....just you have a good arm, probably better than most of the guys here." He complimented. He gave her a nice smile before going back to what he was was doing. He fired his round, finally stopping and saw a perfect nice size hole dead center on the paper target.

Emily couldn't help the slight chuckle that escaped her at the compliment. She'd been so worried about why he was watching her, it had never occurred to her that it was completely harmless. "Thanks," she replied with a slight blush. She was embarrassed by her reaction to it all and how she made herself out to be a complete cow.
Once she was done watching the boy for a moment, Emily returned to her own target practice. Maybe it wouldn't hurt to give talking to someone a chance when they were both done with their target practice. She could probably use to hang out with someone her age that wasn't a chimera. Well, technically she didn't know hold old Eric was, but she didn't like needing help like that so she needed someone else to talk to.
Firing a few more rounds Emily decided she was done with her shooting for the day and started packing up her stuff. When she looked over at the guy, she smiled slightly before she finished putting the safety back on her gun.

He finished with his firing, his.clip was already empty and he put the.safety.on anyway and sat down, starting to put his things away. He looked up at the woman he had given a compliment to, giving her a small smile before putting the rest of his things away. Should he say something? He was never really good at socializing with people, especially women. He could relate to a child better than a woman.
He didn't know what to say and looked somewhat at a lost, he had that lost child expression and looked down with a slight blush when he looked at her again.

She couldn't believe how out of practice she was when it came to idle chitchat. Even with Eric things hadn't been this awkward and she'd been absolutely terrified then. It was just that ever since then she hadn't really let her guard down for a second and only allowed herself to relax a little when she was with clients. Only just enough to not seem like a complete nut-job. This was the first time she felt relaxed in a long while.
When she glanced back at the man, he looked like such a lost child for a moment, Emily couldn't help but find him utterly and completely harmless. Until she remembered how good a shot he had turned out to be. Smiling slightly when she was done packing up, she walked over to where he was sitting. "You're not so bad yourself," she said, biting her lower lip slightly. "You must've had a good teacher, I'm Emily by the way, wannagoforadrink?" Emily hadn't even realized she was talking too fast to make sense in the end, all her words blurring together like that to one incoherent mess. Once she realized what she'd just said, she blushed slightly again and chuckled. Clearing her throat, she decided to try again. "What I meant to say was, if you're not too busy, maybe you'd like to have a drink some time?"

He smiled at what she said concerning his shooting arm skills. His mentor was a very strong hunter, plus he had been teaching his family for over 30 years, so he came highly recommended. His mentor had said that he had taught him alittle different than what he had taught his other family members.
He gave her a small smile and blinked then at her fast question and barely caught onto what she meant to say. He blushed some at her question. He had never gone out for a drink with a female before. "Sure.....we can go get something now, I have no where to be unless you do." He said.

Emily knew a good marksman when she saw one, she also was a clever girl. People their age with their kind of skills had usually trained since childhood, which would make the other like her. Or rather like she used to be. Sure, regular people could be good with weapons as well, but they usually were a little older than the two.
A faint blush crept across the redhead's face at the response to her question. She hadn't actually expected him to say yes, but she realized she didn't mind either. "I've nowhere to be either," she said with a slight smile. She really had no plans for the day though, so she'd rather spend it and get to know someone from a similar background to herself than have a drink with a completely random person by accident. She was over being sad, now she wanted to have a good time.
