The twins were currently enjoying their lunch hour outside in the autumn. They both had been trying to resist just leaving school as they were getting sick with something. Kaleb was clearly developing a cold or flu of sorts as he had a slight fever and in almost constant need of tissues. Kolt seemed to be suffering from the same thing but not nearly as bad. The twins had chosen to rest in the grass where Kolt could sit with his back against the building while Kaleb used his twin's lap as a pillow. The water witch had chosen now to take a nap to the best of his abilities, soft sniffles coming from him from time to time. The fire twin was reading a book of sorts while running his free hand through his twin's hair without a second thought. Both boys were aware they were getting the odd look and even whispers but neither were in a mood or state to care while trying to relax some.

Sydney pouted into the scratched mirror that belonged to the down stairs bathrooms. After running their pale hand through their ash white hair, they gave a slight smile and then quickly put on the sunglasses that sat in their bag. Sydney planned on going out side for the lunch break that they had at the school and didn't feel like having their eyes in pain while doing so.

Evacuating the bathroom was quick and painless as Sydney made their way to their locker. Grabbing the small bottle of water dissolved minerals, Sydney took their cigarettes and a copy book which their mother had purchased for them and headed outside. As they reached the door outside, Sydney quickly made sure that their bracelet was on tight with no chance of falling off.

Pushing open the door, Sydney felt a little happier to see the sun out that it wouldn't rain and mess up their hair. After getting a few weird looks for their appearance, Sydney shrugged and sat on a table that was completely empty. Setting their things out, they took a short swig from their water and began to light one of their cigarettes. After a few minutes, he got used to the weird looks and then noticed the couple against the wall across from him. Sighing about the fact that anything that was different to what people knew got the evil stare, Sydney became tempted to go sit with the boys.

Taking a drag off their cigarette, they smiled slightly and picked their things up again. Stuffing the cigarette container and their lighter into their bag, they carried their bottle with them over to the couple. Do you mind if I sit 'ere? Sydney asked quietly to the pair.

Kolt completely ignored what the blond that had approached them said. The presence and sound of someone talking caused Kaleb to pick his head up and no longer bury his face in the fabric of his hood. One could tell now that they were identical twins and not a couple of any kind. The water witch gave a weak smile as he sniffles, his nose red and expression clearly tired.
"Of course you can. I'm kaleb."
He let his smile brighten up more for a moment before Kolt pulled the box of tissues out of his bag and handed them to his twin. Said water witch gave an embarrassed look to his twin before taking said box, using a few tissues to muffle a crude sounding cough. He ended up falling over with a groan and a small cough, clearly feeling miserable with his cold.

Sydney did a lot of watching as they had it. Taking a notice to one of from what they could smell witches, they scowled at the ground before taking a lighter facial expression to the witch who had replied to them. With a bright smile, the vampire in a fluid motion was sitting on the floor attempting to relight the cigarette that had gone out in their quick movements.

And I am Sydney, it’s lovely to meet you I’m sure Sydney said before taking a drag of their cigarette and exhaling the calming fumes.

Watching the sickly witch through their light blue eyes, Sydney made the connection that the pair of witches were twins instead of a couple as they had originally thought. Taking their bottle of water out again, the blond took a drink from it before closing the cap again and resting it by their legs. Looking to the witch who was now coughing loudly, Sydney could only look sympatric towards him. As a vampire, they didn’t have to worry about disease no longer.

Are you alright? Syd asked clearly with a slight look of worry on their face.

Kaleb gave a smile at the introduction from the student he now knew as Sydney, his mind doing its best to ignore the icky feeling he still had. Kolt only looked over from his book for a moment, seeming to examine the stranger before going back to his book. Kaleb wasn't surprised at such behavior from his brother as he looked confused at being asked if he were okay. He then grabbed for one of the tissues again as he had to cough again. This made him realize this must be what the other was asking about and gave a small chuckle.
"I just have a really bad cold of sorts. Nothing too serious. Sorry if my twin here is being a bit of a grump, doesn't talk much really."
Kolt looked at his brother from over his book for a moment as to say he wasn't appreciating what was said of him but Kaleb merely stuck his tongue out at the stare. He may have been sick but he could still be silly.
