Even Jack had to admit that it was alittle sad that no one would help Eric. Well....if you like you can try Amanda's shop....shes Kailah's mother and a very talented witch so maybe she could help you. He said.

That was the only witch he really knew, besides Mason but wondered if Mason's magic was even that developed yet. The only thing he knew that Mason could do was blow a fireball at you.

Kailah was still sleeping, making little sounds and moved her tiny fist around before curling up with her favorite stuff animal. Maybe he saw something in you that no one else saw....I mean I was picked because I was the alpha.... He said.

Eric looked up with curious eyes at Jack telling him to check with a woman named Amanda that owned one of the shops in town. He had always avoided the magic shop even though it was cloaked in the appearence of a simple craft shop. None the less he committed the name to memory while watching the infant squirm in her sleep for a moment. Small children were always a curiousity to him, their frames seeming so delicate he couldn't help but want to protect them.

His eyes looked back to jack as the alpha said the same thing most did when he wondered why he was picked as successor.he ran a hand through his dark hair, the trembling of his body very faint now as appose to earlier when his pain was near intolerable.

"B-but that's a logical reason...I can barely handle wh-what I am, let alone try to r-represent those like me...."

The chimera really had no idea what to think of it all really. Maybe it had something to do with his empathy at times for others not so human anymore that just wanted to be normal? He didn't want to think on it too much as it would just make his head hurt worse than it usually did.

He really didn't know what to tell the kid. It wasn't like he had to stick around and be the council member, he could just ask to resign and the council would go and look for another or Eric could just appoint someone else who could represent the super kids better than he could.

It wasn't wise for someone who didn't know what the hell they were doing and can't control themselves represent their own kind. The council members already didn't trust the super kids already and if Eric messes up because he is to afraid, can't control himself or is in to much pain then it would only further cause more distrust and that wasn't good.

The resign.....I wouldn't stay on the council if you don't know what the hell your doing, the council members already don't trust you or the super kids and if you do something wrong then it would only make things worst. he said.

Eric listened closely, the pain killers seeming to be strong enough to even dull his usual chest and head pains. It was mildly clearer for him to think and respond as he could make out the points Jack made. His hands found their way to his pockets again, eyes looking up to sky as a means to not have eye contact with the alpha.

"I-I can't disappoint Roger though. Maybe....maybe there is s-something I can do...empathy helps s-some. Maybe if I...I show them we can be t-trusted...let them see its h-h-history repeating...."

He almost went off into a ramble as he narrowed his eyes at the sky in thought. His trembling had become noticeable again but not to where he looked overly ill. Maybe cold but not dependent on anything.

Jack wasn't sure what else he could say to the chimera that would help. Kailah started to move around some and made soft noises, he walked over beside the stroller and gently lift her up, making sure the blanket was wrapped around her.

Kailah laid her head down on his shoulder, eyes closed still and was more content with being in her fathers arms that in the stroller. He sat down on a bench, making sure Kailah was warm in his arms and smiled some.

Well all I can say is good luck.....I mean I don't distrust you because your a superkid....I don't know you well so that is why I don't trust you but I barely trust anyone on the council to be honest, I am there because I want to make sure that the werewolves in Somber Falls are treated fairly and equally. He said and shrugged.

eric watched the infant seem to stir but jack picked her up and she was still again. He listened to what was said and gave a weak, crooked smile. He considered it a good thing he wasn't trusted on grounds of being a little more than a stranger to jack and not his being a chimera. He looked at his phone for a moment, noticing he should more than likely get a move on.

"Th-thanks...um I should b-be going now...it was nice to see y-you jack..."

He gave the smallest of waves and a slight widening to his smile before making his way back home. He might as well eat something now since the pain was down even by a tiny bit.
