.::Outfit::.“Grande white chocolate mocha, please” Kayci mumbled to the young girl behind the counter. She’d spent the day in Bitter Falls hunting for Christmas rather than leaving it all until last minute as she usually did. She didn’t want any boring old gifts though and she knew Bitter Falls had a lot of unique artefacts hidden about. Luckily she’d found a couple of things that had caught her eye that looked acceptable for her parents though she actually had no idea what they were. Fumbling about in her bag for the 4 dollars she needed in order to acquire her drink, she finally managed to find the exact amount of coins (she had a habit of having to pay the precise sum) and placed the money into the girls waiting fingers. “Thank you” she nodded apprehensively before wandering to the little counter where you collect your drinks. She always thought it was a bit of a stupid system as she always seemed to get an evil urge to steal someone else’s beverage whilst she was there.
It was an unusually small place for such a busy cafe. At the back wall 5 wooden booths and a small log fire were fitted tightly against the wall. To the right, there was a large glass window looking out on to the busy high street where busy shoppers rushed past being pushed along by the icy wind and slight rain. Behind her and to her left the main counters stood were people got there drinks and food from. The shop had a wooden floor which matched the booths and the counters were also made out of the same, if not similar, wood. To Kayci the place reminded her of an old log cabin her parents use to take her to in the winter. They hadn’t been for a while due to Kayci’s disappearance to University but they planned on visiting over Christmas later that year.
She noticed three other people already stood near the counter awaiting their drinks. She had always imagined dark poetic lost souls (in other words, her type of person) scribbling into their journals but never had any luck as most of the customers that stopped by this café were either fake tanned, bleach blonde Barbie type girls or fake tanned, huge ego’d type guys. Her eyes glanced at the two girls standing next to her that clearly new each other and prepared to observe them...or in this case judge. The two girls were obviously acquaintances in their matching orange skin and peroxide hair. They were whispering to each other, properly about how they could make themselves look more ridiculous. She then looked at the third person who was standing like an outcast similar to her. They stood there together in unison awkwardly until suddenly an unknown beverage is plonked down. She could tell it wasn’t hers just by looking at it. The third person turned round at the sound of the cup being put down and glanced anxiously towards her. She held his gaze for properly longer than she should have. Quickly blinking and focusing back on the matter at hand before she started scaring them, she spoke quietly and smiled at them. “Oh, that’s not mine… I thi8nk it could be yours unless it’s… umm... theirs.”.

Vincent had to leave today, he had walked to Dahlia's shop where he was going to be sent off and wanted to see the other before he would leave Bitter Springs. He hated seeing the witch go, but knew that it was for the best and even he would have sent Vincent off somewhere if he were Dahlia.
He watched the car that Vincent was riding in drive off, staying where he was till he couldn't see it anymore and merely turned around, walking off and headed to the shopping center. He was behind on his song writing and needed to get these feelings out on paper. The walk their took about twenty minutes, but he finally got to a small coffee shop that he found to be a perfect spot for some creative writing.
Already a line of people had formed, some waiting for their order to be taken and then be mad. He stood in line, ordering a grande black coffee and let the next person order before walking over to a small bar where the coffee was being made. He stood beside these two blonde hair girls who's thoughts could make brain cells turn stupid and a dark hair girl who dressed more darkly. A grande size drink was placed out in-front of the dark haired girl, she made it known that it wasn't hers and stared at her, knowing it was his but he wasn't sure about reaching out in-front of someone to take it.
It's mine...sorry. He said and just took the drink before heading over to another island where the cream and sugar were. He started to pour sugar pack after sugar pack into the black beverage and pour some cream, turning it a caramel color.
He just rolled his eyes, looking back to the two blonde hair girls who were staring at him and giggling, whispering at how cute he was. He turned his attention back to his coffee and once he was satisfied with how his coffee was, he went and found a two seated table and sat down. He took out his notebook and a pencil, staring to write the first line of his song and bite his lip, seemingly in deep thought.

Kayci watched as the young boy took the drink and headed over to the stand in the middle of the floor. From her right she could hear the quiet sniggers and cooing noises the girls were making as they stared at the boy and it made Kayci’s couldn’t help but to roll her eyes. There had honestly never been a time when she had been acted like that over anyone and if there was the slightest possibility that she ever would she would wish for someone to kill her right there and then. Her toes tapped lightly against the wooden floorboards as she tried to drown them out with thoughts on what she could do that evening. As it was a Sunday it meant she would most likely have to get an early night if she wanted to be up on time for work the next day. She could always wrap the few presents she had and get that out of the way or she could just throw the presents to the back of her cupboard and forget about them until last minute and go spend the rest of her money at The Grill. Did she really want to spend all she had left on alcohol though? Of course she did. It beat fighting with the sellotape for hours and getting numerous paper cuts across her dainty fingers.
As she glanced across the shop again she felt a smile tug at her lips as she watched the boy pour sachets after sachet of sugar in to his drink, reminding her very much of herself and feeling quiet thankful that she wasn’t the only one that took half the sugar they had out whilst she was there Her attention was brought back to the reason she was stood there in the first place as she heard her drink being called out as well as two others. She turned to take her drink at the same time the two Barbie type girls reached for theirs, both of them turning to glare at Kayci as though they had every right to take theirs first. Wrinkling her nose up in slight disgust at them, she gestured for them to take theirs to save any arguments and kept her eyes locked on theirs before they turned and walked away.
Sighing, she took her drink in to her hands and carefully made her way to the stand in the middle where she proceeded to copy the boy’s actions and start filling her drink with sugar and crème. Once she was satisfied it was sweet enough, she found herself hesitantly taking a few steps towards the table that had been free only to realise the young boy from the queue had beat her to it. Sighing, she looked around for another table and her eyes fell on a coup-le of spare seats, both being opposite to men that reminded her of her pervy uncle that only visited at Christmas to eat all the mince pies and comment on how much she had blossomed into a young woman. It made her physically sick.
Rolling her eyes once more, she quickly cut through the tables to where the boy sat and practically dropped on to the seat opposite him before taking a small sip of her drink. Removing her hood, she unbuttoned her coat slightly as she had started to warm up before seeming to only just remember the boy was there and looking up at him with a smile. “Oh… I hope you don’t mind. This is the only place that actually looked inviting enough to sit at without me wanting to gouge out someone’s eyes. Hah, I’m sorry… I didn’t mean that. I was just being… you know what? Never mind. I noticed those two girls checking you out… You have all my sympathy.” Her smile turned into a grin as she ran her free hand through her hair to brush out the few knots the wind had caused before she went back to sipping carefully at the hot mocha that sent a rather pleasurable shudder through her body.
