No one had ever just went out and got him something from the drop of a hat. His parents often spoiled him somewhat yes, but he would always have to wait for what he wanted and sometimes he never got it because it was to expensive, but unlike most teenagers, he didn't throw at fit over it.

He looked at Marcus and smiled some at the man ruffling his hair. I'm not use to someone just....giving me something is all. He said.

It seemed most kids weren't used to people just giving them stuff, but then again, they didn't all have more money than they could possibly count. Sure, the banks counted for him, but if he'd had everything out of the bank he wouldn't be able to count. Not to mention the money that had gone into various properties and his business endeavors. No, it would be highly unfair to keep Alec from that life when both his siblings and Amelita had been so effortlessly included. Naturally, his older fledgelings worked and kept busy to earn their money, but they had more than enough already.

"Might I suggest you get used to the fact that you have money now?" he chuckled slightly. "You'll get used to it, and I highly doubt it will spoil you at all, I'd be surprised if it did. Heck, you got Arya to like you without even trying, and that is saying something."

Despite the fact that he'd wanted to stay in London for a few days to take his time to show Alec around, after the events of that evening all he wanted to do was go home to Damien and hold his lover safely in his arms.

He blinked at the mans words and just nodded. Guess he would have to just get used to being well rich and had a new family now that had alot of money.

"Arya likes me?" He asked and looked somewhat surprised. He knew that the vampiress wasn't mean to him but she pretty much ignored him and kept to herself.

Marcus knew that Arya would never go as far as to tell someone she cared. She'd grown up with everything she should have cared for taken from her. He'd given her a way to take control over her life that made her able to function without being a complete mess and she had sworn by her way of life ever since. Only occasionally had he seen her show that she genuinely cared for someone. It was the fact that she hadn't had anything bad to say about the boy at all that told him the truth.

"She doesn't show it, but she does. She's hard on Amelita because she's become her responsibility and the former hunter has a tendency to get herself in trouble. Since I'm at Damien's so often, I had to make sure it was ok you stayed there when you were home and she doesn't mind at all. You remind her of one of her siblings, from when she was just an innocent child, before she learned how cruel the world can be. Personally, I think she'll try to shield you from it all in her own way, given a chance."

It had been a surprise to him as well that she'd agreed to let Alec stay with no conditions to her agreement at all. All she had asked was that Marcus took care of teaching the boy. Maybe she'd realized he wouldn't be a trouble maker at all, and he wasn't hurting her pets accidentally like the girls were.

"Just don't go tell her that I told you anything, she really doesn't like to admit that she cares for people. It's never worked out so well for her in the past."

He nodded and did feel better that Arya liked him. He wasn't all that used to people not showing their feelings towards him, so it was somewhat confusing how she felt towards him.

"Really." He said softly and smiled.

He curled up closed to Marcus side now and hide his face in the others neck now before falling asleep and couldn't help but to cuddle closely against the other vampire.

It didn't take long from Alec fell asleep until Marcus himself felt rather drowsy. He moved very carefully as to not wake Alec and pulled the covers over them before he drifted asleep himself.

At first, his dreams were filled with memories of a life lost so long ago. Of a time when he was Alec's age himself. Life had been so simple, but his dreams shifted rapidly and he was suddenly with Damien, shortly after he'd turned his lover. Still, he was just in a good mood and he smiled in his sleep as he kissed his boyfriend lovingly in his dreams. Of course, nothing good lasted forever, and the dreams morphed again, this time however Damien was being tortured by an elder. He had been snatched from his safe haven in Bitter Springs and Marcus was poisoned and changed down, helpless to save his love. He could barely move a muscle as it was and the moment the stranger turned around he got a glimpse of her face; his maker. The woman smirked at him before she drove a stake right through Damien's heart and Marcus woke up with a start and sat up in bed.

The dream had been so real, it took him a moment to realize it wasn't true. Still, he couldn't shake the feeling of dread that filled him and longing to hold Damien safely in his arms once more. He had even forgotten that Alec was there for a moment, and sighed softly when he looked at the youngling. They were going home, sooner rather than later. It didn't matter if it was just a bad dream, he needed to make sure everything was alright with Damien.

Alex slept rather peacefully and barely felt Marcus moving around or having a bad dream. It wasnt until the man sat up with a startle did his eyes fluttered open an he rubbed his eyes before sitting up and looked alittle worried.

"Marcus are you okay?" He asked tiredly and blinked his concerned and tired filled eyes.

Marcus was lost in thought for a moment, until Alec brought him out of his reverie by asking if he was OK. Looking at the boy for a moment, Marcus pulled him close for a hug and held him tightly. "I thought I'd lost him," he said quietly, before he let go of Alec and smiled slightly.

"Let's go home," he said quietly, feeling bad about waking Alec like that. It was just a bad dream after all, it was just the feeling that he couldn't shake that made him worry that something was wrong. He'd never worried about Damien like this before he realized how important the man was to him. He certainly couldn't imagine not hearing from him in centuries ever again.

It took a lot to shake the vampire up like that, but the idea of losing someone so dear to him wasn't a feeling he could shake off that easily. He blamed it on the events of what had happened with Alec.

He was pulled into a hug and hugged the other back. He blinked at his makers words and wondered if he had a bad dream about Damien.

Before he could ask, he was even more surprised that Marcus said thAt they were just going to go home like that.

"You mean right now?" He asked

Marcus was glad he wasn't alone at the moment, just because it made it easier to put it all out of mind when he didn't want to worry someone else. Besides, he didn't want to act all silly and call Damien just to make sure he was alright. It wasn't often that he had bad dreams really, but he had left Damien alone after introducing him as his boyfriend the last time they'd gone somewhere.

"I'd rather we go home than risk anyone trying anything again, wouldn't you?" he replied. Of course, he wouldn't force Alec to start packing in the middle of the night, they could wait till morning. "The sooner we leave, the sooner you can get back to Casey again as well."

He honestly didn't know what had come over Marcus that would make him want to just go home now on the drop of a house?

"Okay....could we go home tomorrow morning...." He said softly and sigh.

He laid back down and curled up closed to Marcus.

He knew he was being irrational about it all, Damien was more than likely just fine. He just didn't like missing him like that and having a really realistic nightmare on top of it all. When asked if they could leave in the morning, Marcus smiled slightly at Alec. "Of course we can," he murmured and laid back down, pulling the covers tightly over then and just smiled at how adorable his newest fledgeling could be at times.

The rest of the night was uneventful and he managed to get some decent sleep despite the nightmare he'd had. When morning came he was all curled up around Alec, having cuddled close in his sleep as if to make sure he didn't go anywhere. In the short amount of time that he'd known the boy, he'd come to care greatly for him and the last thing he wanted was to lose him in any way.

Alec felt himself being cuddled closely to Marcus and just nuzzled his head into the mans chest, clearly happy where he was. When he did wake, he looked up at Marcus with a small smile. He somehow managed to slip out from Marcus muscles to go to the bathroom.

He took a quick shower and got dressed, walking back into the bedroom and laid back down on the bed, curling up close to the pillow.

Marcus didn't even notice Alec sneaking out of bed, he just kept on sleeping until the weight on the bed shifted again. Opening his eyes, he smiled at Alec, glad that everything was alright. "Morning," he murmured. Marcus had to admit, he was glad that Alec seemed to have warmed up to him as well.

"Ready to go home today?" he asked and sat up in bed. It was a very comfortable bed though, so he wasn't sure he was ready to get up right away, still he wanted to get home to Damien sooner rather than later.

He looked to Marcus once the man had woken up and looked at the other with a small smile."sure." He said and got up once more to put on his shoes and left the room to get his things together. It kinda sucked that they would have to leave so soon, but he don't want to argue or anything. He couldn't help but to sigh softly as he folded his cloths and put them in his suitcase.

Once he was done, a driver was already outside waiting for them. He handed the man the suitcase and wondered what Casey was doing. He would be happy to be going home to the dragon.
