Casey barely listened to what was said about Marcus treating Alec more like a child. The dragon couldn't help to snap about this somewhat. it had worked for quite a few vampires in its years and it felt it had every right to find them low enough to use anyone and everyone. "Vampires have been known to take newborns as pets and if this one does that to him he will go through a living nightmare at my hands." As much as Casey was used to being the one treated as an object, it was very much possessive of those that it felt belonged to it in some form. Considering this was an actual relationship, the dragon wasn't going to let go any time soon. It smirked though at the change of subject, only grinning like a cat at her asking if she had to wear it at all times. At that point it was just giving her a more mocking stare than intended as it snapped the bracelet onto her arm. "I'd like to see you try and take it off. That will always have to be worn. If you like to where it's less annoying i can make it a rope anklet or something, but it has to stay on if you don't want me pestering you in the physical form at all times."

If he did decide to treat this newborn as a pet, she had a feeling he'd regret it. Then again, if he hadn't done so already, he probably wasn't going to, not that she was going to point that out as she wanted to just drop the subject. It wasn't really her business anyway and Casey was entitled to his own opinion on the matter.
Once the bracelet was snapped onto her wrist, she growled slightly. She didn't like people who were practically strangers to touch her like that. More than that, what he said annoyed her. She wouldn't be able to take it off at all, and that crystal wasn't going to be clear at all times now was it. How was she supposed to explain that to Maxxie? "You can't just snap bracelets on people. So I'm tied to you until Dahlia's satisfied I won't burn the city down for fun?" She frowned. She had only wanted to do that once, right before she'd made the storm in the graveyard.
Studying the bracelet for a moment, she made it disappear. "Much better," she smirked. Just because she was forced to wear it, didn't mean the world had to see it, right? Amber had taught her that much with her invisibility.

The dragon just smirked at her, finding amusement in her annoyance. Casey could only chuckle at her words though, hair and eyes turning an amused orange color. "Oh but I can with this contract, but you'll get it soon enough. Now as for Dahlia's wishes, I'm going to guess so. You're too much a danger in this town to those like her brother I'm surprised she didn't just exile you or try to strip all your magic away from you for the time being or something." It was waving a hand around as it spoke, seeming amused at all this. It mocked a hurt expression at Amanda covering the bracelet up with magic, but none the less it didn't give too much of a care about the item, it would still work no matter what Amanda did to it.

Why did everyone seem to think she'd actually do some serious danger to the town? Just because she enjoyed lighting fires and taking what she wanted, didn't mean she couldn't behave as long as no one provoked her. Then again, lately she'd been causing some heavy winds when her temper got out of hand, it was almost as if the more she used the magic she'd stolen, the stronger it got since she was more accustomed to it. What had taken a lot of effort before, barely took anything out of her now.
"No matter how powerful she is, not even Dahlia could make me leave if I didn't want to, especially not without endangering the poor innocent townsfolk," she chuckled at that though, wanting to find something amusing to do rather than just walk aimlessly around. "I offered Jack a way out of all this, telling him all he had to do was say the word and I'd be gone for a long time, but he's about the only person in town that could make me leave all of this behind." It was true, though the only reason Jack was the one who could get her to leave was because of their daughter.
"The only reason I'm giving Dahlia what she wants, is to see my girl again, if there hadn't been a hope in the world I'd just go about life like I have been doing the past months."
