He didnt even think about him having any troubles being alone. He wasnt thirsty or anything. He nodded."I'll be for." He said with a smile and walked back to his room and decided to try and get some sleep. He slept for maybe two or three hours when he started having a nightmare. T was the night when the raiders came to his village and he was standing there as his mother wa seeing killed. He screamed but no words came out and he couldn't move.

When he woke, his eyes were widened with fear and he started crying softly. Usually when e had a bad dream, he always why to his mothers room and slept in his mothers room. Without even thinking, he got up and found Marcus room. He quietly walked to the mans room and knocked in his door. He came in and walked to his bed."Marcus came I sleep with you?" He asked.

When Damien said he'd be OK on his own, he quickly checked on Arya before he went to his own room and dressed down. He was still wearing his undergarments though as she crawled underneath the furs on his bed. It didn't take long at all before he fell asleep and he was resting peacefully until a knock brought him out of his sleep.

Usually only Arya would wake him for some reason in the middle of the night like that, so he was a bit surprised when Damien stepped into the room and walked over to his bed. At the boy's request, Marcus lifted the furs away to welcome the boy and nodded sleepily. "What happened?" he murmured and made room for the boy. He wouldn't try anything now, the kid obviously needed comforting and he was glad he thought he could come to his maker with his troubles rather than go crawling up into Arya's bed. Though with that woman it wouldn't have surprised him at all if she was trying to win Damien over to her side to get some of his attention. Not that she'd need to, considering he'd already agreed to her proposal of hurting Damien as little as possible and rather taking it out on her since she enjoyed it so much anyway.

Once Marcus pulled the covers back, he got into bed and curled up close to Marcus. He looked up at the other."I had a bad dream about my mother......" He replied softly and closed his eyes. He actually wrappe his arms around the other man and hide his face in his chest. Surprisingly he felt protected and safe in Marcus arms.

He didnt look back at the man, trying to contain any tears that threatened to spill out of his eyes. He sniffled though softly."I used to sleep with my mom when I had a bad dream......but I never had one in seven years till now....." He admitted.

He couldn't help but be happy that Damien got into the bed and curled up close like that. Despite the circumstances, it was good to have him come close on his own and he pulled the fur back over them, holding Damien tightly. "Well, you're always welcome here, and everyone has a bad dream from time to time. It's nothing to be ashamed of, you're safe and sound, that's what matters."

Marcus wasn't used to people coming to him for comfort, but he was doing the best he could. The people he'd been with before had always had their own reasons for seeking his company and Arya had quickly outgrown any notions of safety and comforts she just wanted the company. Maybe that's what he got for bringing in a boy used to living with his mother though, and maybe it wasn't a bad thing.

"Try to get some more sleep, and don't worry about dreams. Nothing can hurt you right now, OK?"

Damien listened to Marcus and nodded, he just closed his eyes and fell asleep. When he woke up next, he looked up and saw he was sill in Marcus arms. He almost forgotten that he had come into the mans room. He did give a small smile. He started to think that Marcus wasnt all that bad. He still didnt think he would ever give his body to the man, but he did trust him alittle more.

He sat up some, rubbing his eyes and knew his hair had to be up in all ends and messy. There were ne'er any windows so he had no idea if it was daylight or not.

Marcus made himself stay awake until Damien was asleep again before he closed his eyes and fell right back asleep. He was a sound sleeper once he got around to it, and didn't really move during the night. It wasn't until Damien sat up that he woke up himself. He was a little surprised that Damien was still there and that his blonde hadn't snuck in during the night. Not that he wasn't grateful she'd stayed away when Damien had been there.

"Sleep well?" he inquired, honestly wanting to know that his fledgeling was fine. It was probably a good thing that Damien had come seeking comfort, that way he could experience first hand what Marcus had said about not forcing himself on the boy. If he hadn't been true to his word, he would've tried to take advantage of the situation, but as it was, hopefully Damien would trust him a little more when he said he'd work on changing his mind rather than try to force him into something he didn't want.

Before he could really get out of bed or anything a knock on the door made him sigh. It didn't take much longer before Arya entered, pulling a suspicious looking man into the bedroom. The blonde was dressed in more of a man's clothes than the usual get-up for women as she'd been out hunting from the looks of it. "Caught this one trying to sneak past your trusted guard, figured he'd make do for breakfast," she chuckled and left him in the room for Marcus and Damien, leaving to do whatever it was she did when Marcus wasn't around.

He looke down to see Marcus was awake now."yeah I did thanks." He said and smiled. He looked up once Arya came in and was surprised when she brought in a man who looked like he was up to no good. He blinked and watched her leave, the man looked scared now as if knowing that he ws in the presence of two vampire. He blinked his blue at the male before getting up. The man quickly scurried away but not before Damien grabbed him by his neck.

"No used in sneaking off...." He said.

He smirked when the man started screaming and smoke actually rose from under his hand. He was slowly burning the man and ice he pulled his hand back a nice red hand print was seen.

Marcus merely made a disgruntled sound at Arya's arrival with their breakfast. Sure, he appreciated her concern and that she'd brought them breakfast, but she would have preferred it if she'd just waited till she was invited. She was glad she left them again though, as it was amusing to watch Damien approach the man.

"No need to burn the man," he said highly amused when Damien pulled his hand away, revealing the burned hand mark. Getting out of bed himself, he approached the man, a wicked smirk on his face. Twisting the man's head to the side, he had his fill. "Let's not make breakfast go to waste. Finish him off Damien," he said and held the man still.

Damien only smiled at what Marcus said about burning his food. He watched Marcus have his fill and waited till he was done. Once he was done, he bite into the mans neck and drained what was left. Once he was done, the man was totally lifeless now and he felt blood run down his chin. He licked it up and saw a small droplet on Marcus lip and smiled, leaning forward and teasingly licked it off.

He didnt know what made him to that, maybe it was alittle thank you for comforting him last night an not trying anything sexual with him.

Marcus couldn't quite wipe that smirk off his face as he watched Damien kill the man. Bad men didn't deserve to live. Any other human servant would be treated differently, but people breaking in would suffer a merciless death. They never left witnesses.

He was surprised when Damien licked the blood from his lip, but didn't do anything about it. He merely smiled slightly at him and caressed his cheek. "You'll make a great vampire one day, just practice your skills, whenever you get a chance to. We need you to be your best." Dropping his hand again he figured it was time to get dressed, so he let Damien be alone and found his clothing.

"So, until you learn about all your new gifts and how to control them, we're putting off all other lessons until they are needed." He really was proud though that one of his had turned out to be so gifted.

He wondered if Marcus would do anything towards him but was somewhat surprised when he didnt. He merely carassed his cheek and looked up at the other with a small smile. He wondered if he would be a great vampire, he hoped so considering everything he had been through. He watched as Marcus picked up his cloths and he figured he should go ahead and get ready for a brand new day.

"So are we going to start today?" He asked curiously

Marcus knew full well that he'd need Damien's trust in order to win him over. The only way to do that was to not try anything with him until he was ready for it or offering himself. Pushing him would get them nowhere, and that wasn't a place he wanted to go. He needed to be patient with him, and that was exactly what he'd do.

When he was dressed again, he turned to Damien again. "We're not going to do anything. You are. After all, they're not my gifts," he said and chuckled slightly. Bringing Damien along with him to the courtyard, he brought out some candles and water for him. "If you'd like a target to practice on, I can have Arya antagonize you. She'd be thrilled."

He looked down as Marcus dressed and looked back up once the he was dragged along by Marcus to the courtyard and watched as he brought out some water and a candle. He blinked at what he said."No I think I can manage without being antagonized." He said and smiled. He sat down infront of the candle and water.

He wondered if he could use fire, he did burn that guy but no flame shot out or anything. He concentrated for a moment and sure enough the flame shot up about three feet from the wick. He was stunned and moved his hand so he could actually catch the flame in his hand and looked at it. Letting it bounce to the other hand. He stood up and then shot the flame out from his palm and it lashed out at a tree, catching it on fire.

He smiled before putting the fire out with water and wondere what else he could control. He smirked and balled up his fist and slammed it into the grous. The ground split in two, stretching out about twenty or so feet, formin a trench.

It was highly amusing to watch Damien explore his new gifts and it didn't take long before Arya arrived to watch as well. The blonde didn't waste any time standing around though and went straight to sit on Marcus's lap, leaning her head against his shoulder so they could watch the boy together. Occasionally she'd comment on something, but their conversation was quiet and took place in pictures mostly.

"Keep figuring out what you can and can't do and what your limitations are. So far it's impressive," Marcus told Damien and smiled at the boy. Leaning his head against Arya's, he decided to give her the second best thing to what she really wanted. He couldn't hurt her for no good reason without Damien being overly curious, so he would have to fill her mind with pictures instead. Elaborate pictures of what he would do to her if she was good, while slowly crushing her hand with his own.

It seemed to be working to, because the blonde was calmer than she'd been in a while and it didn't take much more to make her do exactly what he needed of her now. Releasing his grip on her head and focusing all his attention on Damien again, he had to say the boy was full or surprises. "Try combining the elements?" he suggested humorously.

He wondered if he could control air. He waited for a simple breeze to roll by and created stronger winds that slammed into the already dead tree, making it creak and bend over some. He smiled and looked to Marcus and Arya once he told him to try and conbined the elements together. He wonder what he could combined. He started the bend the water, making it splash against the tree and combined air to it, creating ice.

Although these powers were impressive, he started to feel alittle tired and actually fell to his knees. He breathed heavily, trying to catch his breath. He started to see images in his head and quickly tried to stop himself. He didnt want Marcus knowing that he just read the mans mind again.
