Casey was content with just watching Alec drift off into sleep.it kept its hand idly in Alec's hair, not minding that it was being used as a pillow at the moment by the smaller hybrid. It xould only give a soft smirk at Alec waking up. It merely nodded at the question on if it stayed up all night.
"I don't need sleep like most creatures, but I would have slept if I didn't feel the need to guard you."
Casey could only blink a little confused as Alec seemed to become more serious. This seemed to be the main question asked by Alec lately. It still wasn't sure how to wrap its head around what it felt for the hybrid. Many would tell it its love but the dragon honestly didn't understand such a feeling, much less feel it could love something. It would explain why it hadnt let go of Alec though. Considering what the boy had put the dragon through, if it didn't have strong feelings it would have long abandoned the boy.

Casey sighed for a moment, leaning back as it was unable to look directly at Alec right now.
"I still don't know. I've looked in books, asked other creatures through force... I start to think I know what it is and what to say it but then I remind myself I'm a creature of damnation and shouldn't feel something so...pure."

He looked at Casey with somewhat sad eyes at the dragons words. it made him sad that Casey thought that because he was a dragon he couldn't feel or being in love. "It's okay to love someone....no matter what you are." He said softly and sigh. He team a hand through his hair and sat up.

"So what do you want to do now?" He asked curiously.

Casey could only sigh at the response it's own answer received. It could see the sadness in Alec's eyes and couldn't help to look away then, its own eyes and hair turning slightly gray. It looked over when the hybrid sat up, but didn't make eye contact. It blinked a little confused at the question, not sure itself what they could do.
"we could try to find you something to eat. Or see if that useless vampire Marcus is back yet. What exactly has been going on that has had you so busy and running away anyhow?"
The dragon thought it deserved an answer of some kind at this point, didn't it?

"Marcus is back; me, him and his boyfriend came back together." He told Casey. He knew he couldn't tell the dragon that he almost became a pet to a vampire, but guess it wouldn't hurry to just tell him. "Marcus had left to findsome ancient vampire and I got really worried, so I left along with his boyfriend, we found him and everything is fine now." He said and smiled.

He got up now, alittle bo legged from what they did and felt sore. He went to the bathroom and got cleaned up before pouring some cloths on. "Let's go hunting." He said.
