outfit~*~ Tonight was an exercise in control. Well, control over herself anyway, not the amount of alcohol she planned on consuming. Since she didn't really have access to any magic at the moment, she couldn't really hurt anyone that way if she got upset by anything. At best she could hurt someone physically, but she had a feeling she'd be thrown out if she got involved in a fight, so she didn't plan on being mean or hurtful at all this evening. No, she was looking for something in particular; oblivion. Well, maybe she was looking for a hook up as well, but most importantly she was aiming to have fun in a more traditional manner than she'd been doing lately. She had warned her 'sitter' for the night to stay out of her way unless she was either in danger or causing any trouble. The last thing she wanted was to get caught up with one of Jack's pack mates just because she was drunk and lonely. God forbid Jack harassed her for taking advantage of his friends. Amanda was standing by the bar, ordering her first shot of tequila and downed it. The alcohol left a nice burning sensation in her throat before she quickly followed it by another shot. Biting the lemon slice, she couldn't help but think that this was actually the first time in a while that she actually felt good and normal. It didn't matter that she was about to find out in a day or two whether or not she would actually turn into a wolf. Tonight, she aimed to not have a care in the world as everything would just be a blur in the morning anyway. If that was the way the evening would progress was an entirely different matter. It all depended on whether she was drinking alone and whether she was going home alone or not. If she went home alone, it didn't matter whether she got plastered or not.

Andrei had a terrible day at work, he had to take.down a huge werewolf with his physical strength before finally having to resort to his mind control powers. He headed home, changing into black skinny pants, studded black boots and a black tank top. He kept it more simple, besides he always stood out in a crowd which was why he couldn't be a spy. He headed out to the local pub called, The Grill.
He walked in, glancing around at his surroundings before making his way to the.bar. He ordered a shot of vodka, glancing to his left to see a rather attractive blonde. Their was something off about here, was she a werewitch? He sensed that beast part inside her but their was.a tiny trace of magic in here. She looked familiar for some reason, like he had'seen her before. He.looked away once his drink came, drowning the shot.and sigh.softly at the delightful burn sensation it caused.

Amanda knew her limits as far as alcohol consumption went, and she knew two shots were enough for a while. Filled up on liquid courage, she decided to look around for a bit. Turning to her right ever so slightly, she studied the werewolf for a moment before turning away again. As just a witch, she'd been pretty good at not only picking supernaturals out in a crowd, but figuring out what they were by the feel they gave up, now she realize she could just close her eyes and she could hear it.
After spending so much time with Jack's wolves, she'd learned to pick out the very distinguished heartbeat of a werewolf and how it was different from humans. She also knew from looking at the wolf that he wasn't one of Jack's and debated whether or not to address him. She might get in trouble after all, just for mingling with wolves outside of Jack's pack, she didn't know how much leniency she actually had at the moment and felt she was pushing it pretty far already by going to the grill for drinks and not keeping her sitter as a drinking companion.
The alcohol must have affected her better judgement though as she turned to the wolf and smiled slightly. "You're not one of Jack's," she simply stated as she already knew the answer there was no point making it a question. He smelled more like Valerie than the other wolves in Jack's pack anyway.

He now knew where he had seen the werewitch before. That wolf, Valerie.had.brought the red head in and he also knew that she was the mother to his cousin, Kailah. This place was to much like a small world. He looked at the red head, her question made him cock a thin eyebrow. "If you mean if I am apart of that idiots pack then no." He answered, ordering another shot.
He looked back at her.with a slight smirk."What.about you, finally decided to join the pack?" He asked.

Amanda couldn't help but chuckle at the reply. She couldn't help think that he knew Jack form somewhere based on his answer. There was no point questioning it though, she was sure she'd get the answers she needed at some point, but she wasn't going to push it. After all, she wasn't drunk enough to push for answers yet.
When asked if she'd joined the pack, Amanda couldn't help but chuckle and order another shot for herself. "Not much of a team player, besides no one really knows how to push my buttons all the wrong way better than Jack." Drowning her shot, she couldn't help but ask what she wanted to know. "Are you like Valerie?"

"I am pretty good at pushing that wolves buttons, took years of practice." He said and turned around to face the crowd and looked at her. "If you mean I'm from the order then yes." He said, taking out a pack of smokes. He looked at her."And your his baby momma aren't you?" He asked, giving her a small smirk. He knew who she was, but it was a conversation starter. He inhaled deeply, blowing the smoke.and looked at her.

Amanda was curious how this other wolf would know how to push Jack's buttons, but she wasn't going to ask how. If she pushed Jack too far, he'd bar her from seeing Kailah again and that was really the last thing she wanted. She had a feeling she didn't have any more chances as far as Jack went, so she didn't want to push her luck.
So he was from the order, that explained why he reminded her more of Valerie than the other wolves. When he pulled out a pack of smokes, that reminded her she needed one herself and pulled out her own. Lighting it, she chuckled at the question. "You seem to know a lot about me," she stated, inhaling slowly before exhaling away from Andrei and figured she might as well be polite. "Amanda," she said and offer her hand to the other wolf.
"So I'm guessing you've been at this a lot longer than me. I don't even know what will happen this full moon, it's my first really." Amanda knew that he probably had more answers than Jack did and she wasn't comfortable with asking Valerie since the wolf had been helping her so much already.

He took her hand."Andrei." He said, giving her a smile before looking back to the crowd. He glanced back to her at her statement. "Well you'll turn into a wolf, the process is always painful first tine but after you get used to it, it wont hurt so much." He said. "I know alot about you and Jack, I haven't had the pleasure of meeting my new cousin." He said, pretty much giving away that he was related to Jack, but hey guess she should know who is related to her baby daddy if their in this town.

It was nice to put a name to the face. And it was nice to finally get a clean answer as to what would happen on the full moon, no one else seemed to know how to answer questions she didn't know how to ask to begin with. It was good to know that there were someone out there willing to answer questions she might have.
"Knowing your cousin, he won't let you see her anytime soon. He barely lets me see her, why would he treat you differently..." Ugh, she didn't come to the grill to talk about Jack, even talking about him seemed to put her in a mood. "Do me a favor, let's just avoid any topic including Jack, he just gets on my nerves," shrugging it off, she decided to finish her smoke in silence.
"So... on that note, what brought you to town? Thanks for answering my question earlier, no one else seemed to have any answers and Valerie refuses to talk about it."

He nodded at her request."Can do, just letting you know how I know him is all." He said., He thought it was ashamed that Jack didn't let her near Kailah, but from what he knew, their were good reason., he want going to bring it up though, it would more likely just end in a argument and he didn't want to argue with her, she seemed like a interesting woman.
"Business really, the vampire I guard was stationed here." He said with a smile. "Theirs quite some interesting women here that's for sure." He added.

Amanda nodded to his reply. It was the polite thing to do, letting her know how he knew Jack and how he knew about Kailah. As long as they just didn't push the subject of Jack, she would be able to remain calm as she wasn't looking to start any trouble. If she could keep her cool for a night of drinking, she would be able to find a way out of her current situation.
"I used to work for vampires you know, it was quite different form running a magic shop," she said with a chuckle. If it hadn't been for the vampires that employed her, she probably wouldn't have stayed in town. She hadn't really found her place in town before that. "I always liked them more than wolves, go figure a fucking wolf got me in the end, no offense," she was just amused now though. A week ago, she was still angry about the whole thing, now she was simply amused at the irony.
Getting up from her seat, Amanda wasn't really thinking about what she was doing at the moment before she stepped closer to Andrei and caressed his cheek. "Take me to see Moira some time? I have a feeling she'll have a lot more answers than anyone else." She knew she was asking a lot, especially since Valerie had only taken her to the Quarters to give her the answers she needed to hide what Kailah was from the world.
Amanda hadn't really felt this calm since before she got pregnant in the first place, it was a strange, unfamiliar feeling really. She realized she was still resting her hand on Andrei then and quickly removed it. "There are some interesting people in this town, that's the honest truth about it," smiling, she returned to her seat, knowing full well that she was upsetting the stranger watching her to keep her out of trouble by mingling with an outsider, didn't matter if he was Jack's cousin. "I'm not supposed to talk to you," she chuckled.

He could work with any species really the only one that he could not work with with his cousin Jack. He gave her a smile, ordering another shot of vodka. He looked back at her, chuckling slightly at her statement."That tends to happen, once a wolf gets you, it'll always stay with you, kinda like herpes." He jokes. Yeah his sense of humor was very different, many would say it was.alittle weird.and off.
He felt her step closer and cocked an eyebrow at her caressing his cheek. He stared at her for a moment before she.finally backed off. He felt someone was watching them, more her than him though. He looked up,.immediately locking eyes with the person who was.watching her. He looked back at her, smirking slightly. "I don't take you as the girl that does everything that she is told." He said."I could get rid of the creeper if you want." He offered.

She knew she never would have been welcome back with the vampires either way after giving birth to Kailah. It seemed she'd never really gotten past that whole full moon thing while was pregnant, it served her right that she should have to suffer through it for the rest of her life now. Maybe it was for the better than things had turned out like they did, at least now Kailah would grow up with someone who understood her conflicting natures better than most ever could.
"You know me so well already," she chuckled, amused that he'd figured that out without any help from her. "I like to throw the rule book out of the window, but you don't have to do anything about that wolf. It would just get me in trouble and I don't want that. Stupid mutt is only following orders," she just couldn't help the slightly growl at the word orders. "Remind me never to join a pack, I couldn't stand following orders blindly..." It was time for another drink really. She wasn't nearly drunk enough to be happy with having a watchdog yet.
Closing her eyes for a moment just to listen to what was going on around her, she gave a sigh of relief as it seemed the alcohol was dulling more than just her better judgement, it was also dulling her hearing. It was almost pleasant to numb her senses as it made her less sensitive to changes. Drinking her fourth shot of the evening, she looked back at Andrei and smirked slightly. "What about you, don't you have certain rules you have to follow? Valerie certainly seems uptight about her secrets... Do you have many skeletons in your closet?" She should just stop talking really.

Following orders? Was he actually apart of his cousins pack? It made hook grin knowing this, he knew that he would have to do something now. He wanted to have Jack angry with him, it was fun having the alpha pissed off. "I agree, I left Romania to escape the pack life." He said.
"Alittle, but I am not good at following orders, luckily I'm just a guard." He said.
He looked back over at the wolf, eyes connecting with one another. Then, the wolf stood up, having this empty look in his eyes.

It was good to know that she wasn't alone when it came to wanting to stay out of the hierarchical society of wolves. She wouldn't fit in among Jack's wolves anyway, she knew that much and she wasn't looking to try either. It would make her miserable and potentially make her drop everything and leave town in the end, regardless of whether she was leaving her daughter behind or not. It was just a pain she'd have to deal with if she was forced to be someone she wasn't.
"Another thing you and Valerie seem to have in common then, except she seemed desperate to join the pack as soon as she arrived in town," she said and turned to look at the wolf watching her for the night. It was then that she noticed the empty look in his eyes and turned to Andrei again. "I know you like to piss off Jack, but please don't. Not tonight. He'd think I had anything to do with whatever you're playing at and I don't want any trouble."
Amanda realized she was actually afraid of what Jack would do if Andrei pulled anything and couldn't help the giggle that escaped her. It was unnatural to be happy to be afraid, but she hadn't really been afraid of anything in so long, it was a welcome feeling. It sure beat her regular arrogance when it came to things that ought to scare her.
