Arya didn't know exactly how she could help her family through this, but it seemed that calming Marcus down made it easier to follow his strange conversation. Apparently they were all a bunch of magicians. None of it made any sense really and all she could do was to feed him some more of her blood and hope more memories would return to the man. It seemed she couldn't get much further than to get him to recognize that he somehow knew her, Damien and Alec and she gave up, simply telling him to stay put.

Ana didn't like what she heard when Arya had called to tell her what was going on back in Bitter Springs. Sure, it was a relief to be getting out of the cold climates for a change, but she'd hoped it would be under different circumstances. She gladly went when Gabriel told her to though and would go straight to where the confused vampires were, until then all she could do was wait. After all, it was a long trip and there would be nothing she could do for hours anyway. Hours she could spend preparing and thinking of anything she could do to help the two vampires.

When it became clear that Marcus wasn't going to remember much more than he already did just what little she could do to help, she walked over to Damien instead and studied him for a moment. "This is going to sound very strange to you, I'm sure, but you have gifts. You're great with telepathy, try to find a way to access your gift and I'll try my best to show you what you've lost, ok?" On her own, Arya had no telepathic abilities and no way to really make sure Damien would see what she was trying to show him. Sure, she'd learned from Marcus how to force images onto someone if they weren't guarded, but she'd never tried with a telepath and frankly, she didn't want to push her luck in case Damien suddenly accessed his other gifts quite by accident.

Until help arrived, Alec and herself were the two other vampires' only hope of trying to piece together what they'd lost. If they could just get Damien to realize he knew them somehow, there was less of a chance that he'd get scared and try to run away. She needed them both to stay put until help arrived, and she needed them to remember what they were sooner rather than later so that they wouldn't freak out if they got thirsty.

Damien looked up at the lady who had stroked his cheek, blinking with confusion at what she said. "How can I have powers, I'm human." He said. As soon as he said this though, he was surprised at hearing voices but no one was speaking. "H-how am I hearing.voices...am I crazy?!" He.said. Alec explained to him that David had taken his memories away, even pointing out the fact that our was strange that Marcus started talking gibberish as soon as David touched him and that David had done the same.

Damien was still confused and looked at the pretty lady, tears in his eyes."Marcus killed my mother........because he wanted me as some sex slave......right?" He asked.

Arya couldn't help but chuckle at Damien's reaction to learning that he had powers. Even more so when he said he could hear voices. "You're not crazy, you're a telepath." She said before she ruffled his hair gently. It seemed Alec had control over the situation with Damien for the most part, until he asked the big question.

Gently turning Damien's head so he had to look at her, she shook her head. "Marcus didn't kill her. He could have saved her, but we were more concerned about saving you. It will all make sense in a few hours, and anything you want to know before then you can just ask or seek out the answer with your gifts." She wasn't so concerned with Damien really, he could still talk to Alec without difficulties, but Marcus didn't have anyone else to talk to and she couldn't leave him to all his questions without being able to help.

Hours passed without her being able to really do much other than damage control. It didn't even work to try to shock Marcus back into remembering. It seemed that witch had really done a number on him. This was exactly why she hoped Lorroune didn't have as many enemies as Marcus as it would make her life a living hell having to navigate between the two vampires and the ones they'd angered over the years.

Luckily, once Antonette arrived, she knew help wouldn't be far away, even if the best she could do was to make Marcus remember becoming a vampire. It was better than nothing and it made it easier to get him to sit down and be quiet again. There wasn't anything the necromancer could do for Damien, as her powers wouldn't work on him, and she couldn't speak directly to Marcus without a translator, so Arya was stuck between translating for her maker and worrying about her brother. It was frustrating to say the least.

Why would David lie to him? Was it possible that he really did have his memory taken from someone and he had lived his entire life as a vampire. He just looked over at Marcus, the man looked just as confused and lost as he did. He kept quite, taking in what the pretty lady had told him and what the boy was trying him. He couldn't remember anything and it was slightly frustrating.

Gabriel had finally got a flight out of the small town in Russia and he sorted out all the memories that Marcus and Damien had. He arrived hours later and headed to Damians town house. He looked tired, but went to where Ana was and gathered their current state. Ge decided to returned Marcus first and told Arya to tell Marcus that he was going to give him his memories back, all the way up to where he would remember that David had stole Damien memories.

When Gabriel finally arrived, Arya was quietly listening to Marcus talk before she repeated back to her maker what Gabriel had told her. It seemed for once in her life that both Marcus and Damien trusted her at the same time. Who'd have thought that neither man would have the faintest recollection of who they truly were in order to be able to trust her? It was slightly rude to be honest.

Before Gabriel could give Marcus back all his memories, Arya moved to a better position, where she could hold him back once the memories started coming back. He needed to be held back so he wouldn't attack anyone in his confusion and she held on for dear life, keeping him seated on the couch, even sending shocks through him again to keep him in place. Finally it seemed everything had fallen back in place and she smiled when he spoke her name, recognition clear across his face.

Releasing Marcus, Arya looked at Gabriel for a moment. "What did you do to the witch?" she asked curiously. She could think of one or two things that would make her happy, but she didn't dare suggest any of them to Gabriel. However much she dared to defy Marcus, it didn't apply to Gabriel as he was under no obligation to be semi-nice to her. Besides, he was there simply to help them out.

Marcus however had carefully made his way closer to Damien, and if Ana hadn't laid a hand on him to freeze him in his place, he probably would've tried talking to his lover without having earned permission to even try getting him out of it. After all, Marcus may have been the one who helped Antonette truly master her powers, but Gabriel was the one she was working for and she'd hate to disappoint him now.

He gave Marcus his memories back and took a step back, not sure how the man would react. He would be fed
Furious if someone had taken his loves memories and then took yours ontop of that. He didn't know how well Damien was mental health wise, the boy looked afraid more than anything. He watched as Marcus made his way over to the other. Damien looked up and saw Marcus make his way towards him and quickly got up, running to the other side and hide his face in his knees.

Gabriel sigh and walked over to where the other was and gently soothed him, placing his hands on either side.of Damiens cheeks. He started to give the other his memories back with Alec holding the other.down in case. Finally, his memories came back, he shook his head and looked.around."What.happened?" He asked.

Gabreil didnt answer and stood up, walking to sit dowb ob the couch, he was tired now."I sent him to the council, they'll probably kill him." He said.

Marcus was confused when his memories returned. He didn't know what had happened at first either until Arya asked what had happened to the witch. Sure, he remembered finding Damien all confused without his memories, but he hadn't thought the witch would actually do the same to him. How wrong a person could be. Now that he had his memories back before Damien though, he didn't understand why the necromancer wouldn't let him move. He was frozen in place while Gabriel placed his hands on Damien to give him his memories back.

It wasn't until Damien asked what had happened that he was released from the hold and allowed to go to his lover. The first thing he did was to bring Damien close and hold him in a tight embrace. There was no way in hell he was letting anyone near Damien again now. He was just glad that they were both OK. He didn't really remember much of what had been going on while his memories were gone, but he had the distinct feeling that Arya had actually done the right thing by her brother for once and it made him sightly proud of her.

The blonde turned to look at Gabriel when he walked to sit down. "All this because we sent Talbot to ground for a few decades?" she asked, having a hard time believing there wasn't a bigger plan to all this. What would a witch, Talbot's lover nonetheless, gain by taking away Marcus and Damien's memories? Something was amiss with the whole story, but she decided it would be easier to just go see for herself rather than bug Gabriel. "If you need a place to stay for the night, you are welcome to stay at my place, it's the least I can do when you've come all this way just to help," she offered Gabriel with a slight smile. If he hadn't been able to come, she wouldn't have known what to do. What little she could do hadn't been working at all. And even if he didn't want a place to stay, she was sure Antonette wouldn't mind her old bed for a night. Unless of course they were planning on flying right back again.

Damien rubbed his eyes and felt a tight embrace, hugging the other back and hide his face in the man's chest. He wasn't going to leave Marcus side, he was actually afraid now. Was someone after him? That thought plagued his mind now and he wondered if anymore people who wanted revenge would come after him or Marcus.

Gabriel looked to Arya."I know it's a little weird...." He said and sigh."I would be careful, someone could be after Damien to keep because its been going around of his nature base ability and I found out by gossip." He said. He gave a smile."Thank you that would be.most appreciated, them to have alot of memories and it kinda drained me." He said, looking to Ana."Do you want to head back with Arya with me or stay here?" He asked.

It seemed there wasn't someone after Damien this time as much as someone wanting vengeance for taking their lover away. The main thing was that they were all safe now and the danger had passed. There was no wonder people had found out about her brother's nature based abilities after he'd so openly used them against Talbot. It was a wonder someone else hadn't come instead of the witch and it made her wonder exactly what David's plan had been in the long run.

Antonette looked at her "master" when he asked where she wanted to stay before she turned to look at Marcus and Damien. A chuckle escaped her before she turned her attention back to Gabriel. "I think it'd be better if I went with the two of you, Damien doesn't really care much for me anyway," she said, clearly amused. There was no need to say why she didn't think it would be a good idea to stay when the two lovers didn't look to be willing to let go of one another just yet.

"You need your strength, and if Arya's willing to help out, you might need me to work a little magic," she said calmly. Arya merely nodded to the request, not wanting to think twice about helping the man who'd now saved her maker twice and her brother. She might not care much for either of them, but they were all she had. Strange as it may sound, they were her family. "Alec, you can choose where you want to stay, just for tonight, and if I can ever do anything for you I will, ok?" If it hadn't been for the Hybrid's quick thinking, Arya would never have gotten to Damien's in time to stop Marcus from wandering off. She knew her maker well enough to know he wasn't one to stay long in places where no one understood him after all.

Alec had a feeling that maybe Marcus and Damien would want some time together after their ordeal. He smiled at Arya."I think I'll come with you." He said. Gabriel stood up once Ana decided to go with him. He wished Marcus and Damien fare well before leaving with the trio. Alec said he would come home in a couple of days and left.

Damien looked up at Marcus with a smile small."I love you." He said and planned forward to kiss him gently.

Marcus was relieved when the others had silently agreed to give the two lovers some time alone, because what he wanted to say and do to Damien didn't belong in public. Though it may have to wait until morning because this whole ordeal had really taken its toll. "Thank you," was all he managed to say before the others left and he turned his full attention to his lover.

"I was so worried about you when I found you with no memory at all," he murmured and deepened the kiss. He hoped it would be known what happened to people who tried to take Damien away. Not only after what had happened to Talbot, but how Gabriel had swooped in and saved the day. It seemed the one good thing his maker had ever done, wasn't even something he could credit her for. Gabriel was the only family he knew that was older than him, and he had been a life saver more than once now.

Breaking the kiss, Marcus gently picked up Damien and carried him to his master bedroom. Laying the other down, he reached into his pocket and pulled something out that he hid in the palm of his hand. "I need to ask something of you," he said and laid down next to the other, kissing him gently before opening his palm and revealing a simple, yet beautiful ring he'd had made just for his lover. "I know vampire marriages never end well, so I'm not asking you to marry me. I'm simply asking if you'd do me the honor of wearing this ring for as long as we are together, as a symbol of our love. As a promise I will never cheat on you again and that I'll be yours for as long as you'll have me." He looked up at Damien, curious as to how he'd react to this. It wasn't how he'd planned it, in fact he'd planned the whole thing quite differently, but he didn't want to waste another second, what if someone like David came back and Damien never learned how much he was truly loved?

He gave a small smile up at Marcus, rather happy that they were alone. He giggled some when Marcus carried him of to the master bedroom. He smiled at Marcus once the man laid down next to him and cocked an eyebrow when the other said he needed to ask him something. He wondered what Marcus wanted to ask him when a rather simple but beautiful ring was revealed. Was Marcus going to ask him to marry him?!

He listened intently, a rather big smile curved the vampire face and took the.ring. putting it on his ring finger."Of course I will." He said, learning forward and kissed the other deeply, he was so happy that he couldn't help but to deepenthe kiss even more, pulling the man closer to him.

Had they been mortal, both of them, he would have asked Damien to marry him. As it was, it was the best he could do. He'd experienced too many times how a marriage between two vampires ended badly and this was a nice compromise. People would know Damien was solely his and that even touching the other without Damien's consent warranted a trip to the council and that might not end well. Coveting another vampire's lover was usually frowned upon if it was acted upon against the lover's will, trying anything with someone who was basically the spouse of someone else was a dangerous game. Again, for someone not to warrant a trip to the ground for something like that, it needed to be consensual.

It was a relief to hear Damien accept his sort of proposal. He gladly returned the kiss and smiled slightly when Damien pulled him closer. Breaking the kiss, he smiled at Damien. "I had this whole romantic evening planned, but I don't want to ever forget you again. I love you," he said as he pushed a strand of hair out of Damien's face. He really couldn't help but lean down and kiss Damien again though, really happy that the man had said yes.

He smiled at the other, although he would have saif yes to a purposal, this was just as good. He kissed back, lovingthat their relationship had taken a whole new level. He was going to ask the other to move in with him, but he just wanted to keep kissing the other and maybe make love. He couldn't help but tip run his hand up the others shirt, feeling the man's muscles underneath his finger tips.

He couldnt help but to straddle Marcus waist,leaning down and kissing him deeply.

Marcus couldn't help but smile when Damien started running his hand up his shirt. It was a divine feeling, knowing he'd made Damien happy and that he'd done the right thing for once. It wasn't always easy, but this was something he'd been able to right by Damien with. He would love him and honor him for as long as he was wanted, and when Damien eventually wanted him gone or he no longer loved the other, then that was that. For right now, however, he could love the other.

A smirk crossed his face when Damien straddled him and leaned down to kiss him deeply, he was quick to move though, so that Damien was underneath him and he stroked the others cheek gently. "Not tonight, love. If we did this tonight, I'd be at serious risk of hurting you," he murmured and kissed Damien gently. He knew he didn't want to hurt Damien, but he also knew that if they had sex right then, he would most likely be a little too rough with Damien and he didn't want that. He didn't want to lose control, not after promising time and again that he wouldn't hurt his lover.
