Bri could only laugh, this time a bit louder than a chuckle. He took a drag from his cigarette before explaining his thoughts on the matter. He felt some of them were doing it for fashion or dieting. He personally preferred those with real stories as to why they stopped eating meat. "Well when you're a guy like me that's been traumatized by your dad taking you deer hunting with his friends, you don't exactly want to eat meat. I've just never been big on carnivore habits anyways." He stared up at the dark sky, always liking how the colors changed over time. He was a simple person after all. He let the smoke swirl and dance in the air, his sharp eyes catching the movement even with the dwindling lights. He looked over at Kevin oddly, looking to stare past him more so than anything. He was starting to get a weird feeling about the guy, knowing some humans could be hunters. He shurgged then, looking back at the wall. "Not really no. Sometimes me and my brother disturb the neighbors, but not much else I found exciting around here."

"I've gone deer hunting before," Kevin said, "I found it exhilarating. Rifle or bow, I like either. It's all about stalking your prey, seeing the hidden trail its left behind." His far had that far away expression, his memories consuming him a moment. "It's also the best way to get deer jerky, make it yourself. Maybe we could go hunting sometime, and it wouldn't have to be macho and cruel, just a quiet forest and two guys bonding over the death of something fluffy." He twisted his smile hoping BB caught the joke at the end, he really wouldn't mind hunting with the guy, but he was trying to make light the whole killing aspect of it.
"Are there a lot of hunters here?" The duality of the word glimmered in his mind. According to the context of their discussion, it was perfectly normal to talk about a person who hunts animals. Kevin was trying to see if maybe there was another hunter group, the kind that went after the things that go bump in the night.

Bri was listening, but as Kevin kept going on about hunting he couldn't help to visibly shutter. He was more a domestic dog than a wolf that wanted to hunt. He didn't like the idea in the slightest of taking down Bambi or his mom. "Im a pacifist, including to animals. But I'm sure one of my friends would like to go. Bit of a loose cannon, but he could use a hunting trip at this point." There was no malice in his voice as he spoke of a packmate, the one at hand being Andre. He took a drag from his cigarette, staring at his shoes. He wanted to kick them off, hating to have to wear them before asked about hunters. He looked up, a laugh leaving him again, though not sounding as happy and easy going as before. "Guess so, only one I know is Andre. He used to be big with it, had some gun, maverick I think he called it? Kinda been a bit lacking with it since he got himself a little boyfriend. Still trying to figure out how that brick wall of a personality got someone so happy. Guess they make it work." He never thought too much into it really, but then again his thoughts on love is if it felt right, go with it. He wasn't about to try and split them, knowing full well Andre would rip his throat out before he could even utter a complaint.

Kevin couldn't help the soft smile on his face, this was the exact person he wanted to protect, the reason there would always be men hunting the evils of the world. Innocent to the point of not even being able to protect himself. "Wouldn't mind a hunting partner, and I won't press the issue." It wasn't even worth his time to comment on how a 'he' had a boyfriend, but as BB stated, there was happiness. A few of Kevin's comrades had been of a different persuasion, and so long as they kept it among themselves, Kevin didn't care.
In a show of good faith, Kevin changed the subject in the only way he knew was guaranteed to work. "Some weather we've been having, hm? Crazy." He kept his voice thick with laughter, knowing his attempt was heavy handed but meant in a goodnatured way.

Bri gave one of his easy going smiles at Kevin not pressing the issue. This guy may be giving him an odd vibe but so far he'd been a good person to talk to. His cigarette was starting to dwindle down some, brown eyes always amused by the swirling smoke. "He comes around to the bar sometimes, paints some mark on his face and wears lots of leather. Half the staff is scared of him, but he's alright once you get past his stony expression or how he isn't afraid to break your wrist. Orders whiskey shots never anything else." He dusted some ash off his jeans, still wanting to get out of his shoes and sleep. He still had a few hours before he could go home, but he'd manage. He gave a laugh at the change in subject, not one to mind the damp feel in the air. Rain had been the week and then some, but today had been pretty clear. "I just want a sunny day again. I'm tired of a cranky brother and just want to go walk in the woods without catching cold."

Blue eyes widened at the mention of Andre's appearance. "What is this guy, some kind of hippie-goth kid? I thought people quit all the leather back in the 90's..." Kevin shook his head in disbelief, "This guy tries to break my wrist I'll break his face." Idly he rubbed at his arm, the cast was off and the bruises gone but he could still feel the pain of bones snapping, the throb as his body knit itself back together over agonizing weeks. A fierce look came into his eyes, "I'm not one to back down. I won't start it, but I will finish it." He blinked and the look disappeared, his smile returned and he fnished by saying, "And I'll drink him under the table with whiskey any day. I'm like a fish... If fish drank whiskey and passed out under tables"
Kevin was aware there were groups of people, adults even, that wore all black and leather, did their make up all intense with pale skin and black lines. It still was a good place to start looking for his supernaturals. Goth kids seemed to flock to the big bads of the night. Vampires seemed to have followings of high school kids droning on about the mystical, misunderstood glory that was being a "child of the night". He'd find these supernaturals, he'd find them all.

Bri couldn't help to laugh loudly at this, going as far as bending over with an arm over his stomach. The though of Andre being any kind of hippie just got the lazy wolf rolling. "Andre and hippie are not statements I'd put together. The paint isn't worn so much since he cut his hair, but he's still very much leather. Think more...punk I think the kids call it? He isn't one to drink in challenge. Kinda boring, and that's coming from a pretty bland guy like me. Just don't touch or talk to his boyfriend when he's not near by and he won't be much fuss." He took a drag again, noticing there wasn't much left to is cigarette. He couldn't help to frown then, not wanting his smoke break to end even with the few hours he had left in the kitchen.

Kevin almost choked on the smoke coming out of his lungs as he tried to fight his laughter. "I don't know if I can, but I'll try to keep my hands to myself." It was difficult to think of something he wanted to do less, put his hands on someone's boyfriend definitely ranked next to having 50,000 volts straight to his nipples. Women, that's where his attraction was, with their long hair and coy smiles, tiny skirts and loose fitting tops.
"Unless his 'boyfriend' looks really good in a skirt, I think it'll be okay." The briefest fear flashed in his mind, wondering if it was one of those relationships where the boyfriend really did look good in a skirt. Shuddering, he shook the frightening image away and instead imagined a cute blonde with a little smile and loose legs.
Again he physically shook his head to clear his mind of all sorts of images. Kevin field stripped his cigarette and threw it away as he had previously. "Til next time," he said with a little, two-fingered salute.

Bri just chuckled softly then, knowing just from how kevin behaved the man had to be straight. Bri really had no preference, having not taken too much interest in dating or flings since moving into town. he just gave a sheepish smirk then, knowing that his alpha was now dating some guy that made a pretty convincing woman. he started to stub out his cigarette, having finished off as he talked. "Nah, Pain isn't one of those, but he was a stripper so he knows how to move. See ya later. don't have much longer til closing anyways." his smile was lazy once more as he put his headphones back on before somewhat following Kevin back into the building and getting back to work. Bri didn't think much around town was out of the ordinary, but then again the wolf loved quirk and simple things, this town being full of them.
