He nodded at what she said. He actually sent a telepathic message to Marcus, telling him what was going on, the status of their.search and that the witch who was the.leader of the rebellion inside the.order wanted him. He toldMarcus not to come and looked at her. They returned to the archives, looking through every person and finally he saw the witch he had been looking for. He read his.mind plus the man kept staring him.

"There he is." He sent telepathically to.Alexis.

Then, Antonio took off, the security guards tackled him, handcuffing him and held him down but a few of the other witchs actually helped Antonio and it appeared that he already had reinforcements. Antonio had his eyes on Damien as he made his way.over to the blue eyed vampire. Damien arms burst into.flames as he slashed man when he was grabbed.

Alexis didn't know who to trust anymore. She knew who this Antonio character was as she had reviewed him for promotion when he got the job as Archivist in the Virginia Quarters. He had seemed like the perfect candidate, no one had had a bad word to sat about him and his record was spotless. What had changed in five years to make him willing to risk everything if he got caught? And he must have known he'd get caught eventually.

When things got bad in the archives, Alexis was glad they had teamed up with the one person who could bypass her lock-down with ease. She actually had to tell the security detail to stand down when Valerie appeared next to her and she felt and uncomfortable chill for a moment and she assumed it was Amber walking through her and not a real ghost.

Naturally, the moment Damien slashed at Antonio with his elemental powers, Alexis snarled. "We need him alive, not on the brink of death. Stand down," she ordered him. Sure, the blonde knew she had no authority over Damien, but she was sure Marcus wouldn't be too happy if he found out why he hadn't been allowed to partake in the punishment they had planned for anyone involved in this little scheme.

Amber seemed to have an idea how to deal with the witch as she appeared for a moment before her hand was gently holding the witch's heart without harming any other part of his body. Whatever she did seemed to knock the witch right out until the superhuman disappeared again and Alexis had to just shrug innocently when someone shot her a look as if to question what all the strangers were doing at the Quarters all of a sudden.

"Anyone associated with the witch is to be brought to the cellar. Lock them up in separate rooms, you know the drill. Their fate will be decided by the council, death at the hands of the offended parties of this scheme or a lifetime or memories removed," she turned to Damien and smirked slightly. Little did they know that the council seldom granted someone a second chance at life after a treasonous act like this one.

He looked at Alexis and shrugged his shoulders. Antonio came after him, he was defending himself, plus she didn't have any say what he did. He wasn't backing down but didn't go after the man after knocking him away from him. Then, he felt that same presence from before and could sense that the invisible girl from before had taken over his body. Finally, it was.over...well somewhat, they needed to find out who else was invovled.

Damien watched as Antonio's reinforcements were.handcuffed and taken away."My help is no longer needed, I would like to go home now." He said.

She didn't really care that she didn't have the authority to tell Damien what to do, he was there as her guest which made her responsible for him until he left the building. As such, she couldn't allow him to just go about his business as it pleased him, that wouldn't be fair to anyone else. Didn't matter if their work was over.

Reaching out her hand, Alexis smirked slightly. "Give me back my ring and we'll have you on your way home momentarily. Charles will drive you home," she said. As soon as she had her jewelry back, she was good to get to work.

Now that they had found Antonio, Alexis asked Valerie to send her Ghost home as she didn't need to witness what was to come and that the werewolf probably should return to town with the girl to make sure she really did go home and waited until Alexis had sorted out the rest.

A week passed before they even started the proper trials as the council had to be convened and the prisoners tried one by one. By the end of the trial, most of them were sentenced to the same fate as Antonio, they would just be dealt with within the order. So now, Alexis had the pleasure of bringing the witch to his sentencing.
