Clu blinked at him, eyes not seeming to understand at first but her brain seemed to process everything. she picked up on the confused expression, looking back down to the ground as she spoke.
"Understanding emotions was the objective that made me leave the house. I have voided that objective each time I leave. I follow the objective of finding more samples to add to my collection. It overrides any other objectives, including personal ones."
she looked up at Daniel then, eyes still empty as ever but seeming to know something. she just stared, having folded her hands in her lap at this point.
"I am looking for answers to my origins. This town creates more questions than answers in my experience so far."

Was she a robot? He looked at her, moving closer to her and stared at her for a good minute or two. They were only three inches apart from one another. He stared intently."Are you a robot?" He asked. He listened as she said this town creates more tquestions than giving. He wondered if this was true?

Clu looked up to see Daniel had gotten extremely close to her. She just stared back, not so much as flinching as she responded to the question.
"I am a synthetic in creation but am deemed to be organic like most mammals. Let me demonstrate."
She looked down to her hand then, using one of her nails she changed to be more blade like to cut open her palm. She bled a bright red color, but one could see the wound closing up and healing fairly quick.

He listened as she explained what she was. He blinked, watching her wound bleed bright red and heal up rather quickly. He just sat back then."I see...." was all grew could really say.

Clu never understood what could be so strange about her. Yes it could be the fact that she was created in a lab, but at the same time she was high functioning like humans. She studied Daniel's face, blue-green eyes searching his features. The small cut was completely healed, only the little bit of blood remaining. She was still searching his face as she grabbed something out of her bag to clean up the blood. She had ruined one dress already, didn't need to keep up such habits.
"I do not understand. Humans appear confused or in fear of me. I am designed to protect them, their harm is of no interest to me. Are you disturbed by my design?"

She was made to protect humans? He honestly didn't know how she could protect humans if she didn't understand them. Sure, he was emotionless, but he at least understood emotions and felt only the negative emotions when a innocent person was hurt by a supernatural.

"Not your design, just your personality is odd to me, I've seen stranger beings than you but they weren't as robotic as you are." He said.

Clu stared at Daniel, eyes in full focus. She only knew how to identify humans but not much else about them. She didn't think she was strange either, eyes blinking at being robotic was mentioned again. She seemed still as stone aside from her staring, words leaving her lips in her cold voice.
"There is nothing robotic about me. As for a personality, I've analyzed what is considered a personality and come to the conclusion I lack one. It is a slow development, thus maintaining I lack one. "
She looked away from him then, eyes staring forward before she laid out on her back in the grass. She was staring up at the sky, keeping her senses alert for the most part.

He listened to her reasoning, only shrugging his shoulders then. He took out his knife, examining it and aim at a tree, pinning a moth to the tree and stood up, taking it out and cleaned his.knife. He wasn't a very social person and sat down few feet from her. Laying back and kept his senses on high alert.

Clu sat back up at the sound of a knife cutting through the air. Her eyes focused in on where the blade landed, seeing the ashen wings of a moth on either side. She laid back down for a moment, staring up again before feeling something inhuman was in the area. Her pupils contracted into mere slits as she moved to stand. She looked ahead of where Daniel was, already activating her weapons system by turning her hands into silveresque axe blades. She was struggling to focus in, the distance too much for her to be able to read if it were a werewolf, vampire, or Superkid approaching them. She started to walk forward then, walking around Daniel without a care as she was focused on collecting a sample from this creature.

He heard something in the brush, looking around for a moment and watched as the girl stood up, readying her weapons. He sat still, gripping the handle of his knife. He didn't have supernatural hearing or senses, but his sense were more alert than most regular humans. He looked to his left, then something big and furry hit him like a freight train.

He held his knife up sideways, blocking the big and furry beast from getting at his neck. The jaws on the animals snapped and growled at him, trying to bite through the knife. He felt blood drip down on him from the knife digging into the mouth of the beast.
