Was this doubt that he was feeling? He loved Finny more than anything in this world and wanted to spend the rest of his life with him. Hunter and Vincent were already married and the two of them had talked after the newly weds went off. He had to explain himself and why he hadn't asked; he needed to make sure that Kailah was okay with it, he couldn't marry someone that didn't like her.

He asked Finny to met him at a fancy seafood resturant, already there and dressed in black skinny jeans; grey and black plaid collared shirt and of course a leather jacket. He put on his combat boots and stuffed his wallet into his back pocket, feeling the chain that connected his wallet to his belt loop hit his thigh.

Finny dressed up a bit more than usual, having even started to experiment with his hair more. He didn't apply too much make up this time, but couldn't help to let his eye liner be a bit more bold. He made his way to the restaurant, ignoring some looks as he tried to locate Jack. A bright smile couldn't help to cover his face at spotting the wolf, walking over as calmly as he could. The heels were a bit too tall even for the siren, his steps having to be a bit more careful. He walked over to jack, placing a sweet kiss to the alpha's cheek before taking his seat.
"this is a pleasant surprise. Just what do you have planned bringing me to a place like this?"
The siren could never help to be curious of just what the wolf could be thinking when they had more elegant outings like this.

He had the black ring holder in his pocket, inside was a pretty good side ring. The band was made with real silver and the rock was huge as well, it cost him a pretty penny and hoped that Finny would say yes. He waited and looked up, hearing the sound of heels clicking and knew it had to been the siren.

It didn't surprised him the looks from the men in the resturant and the glares from their female companions. The siren always attracted attention everywhere he went, as long as the men kept their hands and comments to themselves then their wouldn't be any problems.

He smiled, helping the other in his seat before sitting back down."I wanted to go on a little dinner date with you." He said, which was half true.

Finny seemed to light up even more at Jack's reaction, simply letting the wolf help him to his chair before listening. He couldn't help to smooth his skirt out some, looking away and unable to tell Jack had something up his sleeve in a sense. He give a kind smile at the words, liking the idea of this dinner.
"guess it has been a while hasn't it?"
He always seemed so kind and light hearted around the wolf, this cute behavior seeming to become a bit more subconscious lately.

He just smiled and waited as the waiter came back, taking their drink orders before leaving. He excused himself, going to find a waiter and asked him to put the ring in Finnys food, handing the ring to the waiter.

He came back, smiling at his love."Sorry had to use the bathroom." He said and looked over the menu for a moment and glanced up at the siren with a smile filled with love and adoration.

Finny was trying not to seem too curious as the night started, ordering water as usual before Hack scurried off for a moment. He twisted a section of his hair between his fingers then, ignoring some of the stares he was still getting before jack returned, th bored look he had moments ago vanishing. He just nodded at the words before blushing under the look of a smile. He busied himself with looking over the menu, choosing a simple salmon dish for the most part before starting to talk to Jack again.
"I know this is you wanting to have a little dinner date with me, but I wasn't expecting such a high scale place."
It's like he was hinting at him thinking there was more to this date than what Jack was letting the siren know.

He just listened as Finny went on, just smiling now and tried not give anything away that this was more than a dinner party. He looked at Finny, reaching over and gently grabbed the others hand in his. The waiter came back with their drinks, telling them that there food would be ready in about twenty minutes.

"So how was your day?" He asked.

Finny couldn't help to lift a brow at the response he had gotten, not expecting to have silence from Jack on the matter. He watched as a hand reached for his, blushing softly for a moment bit none the less holding the wolf's hand. He looked up at the waiter with a nod but once he was asked about his day he started to chatter on. Recently he became an intern of sorts at the local aquarium, mostly taking care of feeding the animals in the hospital ward of sorts while finishing up his last year of collage.
"I got to work with more of the baby seals today. One had a bit of a sinus infection so poor thing couldn't even breathe right he was so congested. I just can't wait until I'm really allowed to work with them."
As someone only a year away from being a marine biologist he was just getting a bit impatient with wanting to be able to do more than just feed and give medications to the animals these days.

He listen to the other with a smile, he was glad that Finny was becoming a.marine biologist, it was something the siren seem to enjoy doing."Im sure under your care the baby seal will be ok." He said. Their food finally came out, he wad hoping the ring would be in a place the other could see it.

He saw the ring stickin..out of the salmon, he glanced down at the ring before.looking up at Finny.

Funny seemed to ramble on for a moment, smiling brighter at Jack's words. He started to quiet down then once their food arrived. He glanced down at his plate once it was set before him and couldn't help to look at it a bit oddly. He didn't say a word at first, just reaching for the stone that was sticking out of his meal before learning it was a ring. His eyes couldn't help to go a bit wide as he grabbed a napkin to clean the ring off. He looked from Jack to the ring a few times, unsure of what to think of this before just staring at the ring as he spoke.
"Is this...is this what I think it is?"
If this was an engagement ring meant for him as he was thinking it was, he wouldn't be able to stop from bursting into tears at this point.

He smiled when Finny finally saw the ring. He watched as the siren clean it off and asked that million dollar . "Yes it is." He said and reached over, gently taking the sirens hand with a smile. "Will you marry me?" He asked.

Funny looked up a bit quick when jack reached for his hand and spoke. His eyes were already starting to water before the alpha asked a question he thought he'd never hear. The siren tried not to jump the table, unable to help get up and throw his arms around the wolf's neck as he was trying not to be too loud.
"Yes! Yes yes yes!!!"
He was so excited and in near disbelief that this was happening. He was finally going to get married! He had been so worried that even with how long they'd been together the wolf would never really want to tie the knot with the siren, but now, now he had all those doubts moved away as he just looked at Jack with adoration in his watery eyes.

He had to steady himself and laugh.some at how happy he was. He slipped the ring into Finnys finger."I love you." He said, gently stroking the others cheek, wiping some tears from his eyes.

Finny caught the laugh, thinking he might have made a bit of a fool of himself with having ran over to Jack's side of the table, but he honestly didn't care. He felt tears be cleared away after the ring was placed on his hand, nothing stopping him from looking at the stone on his finger. He was trying to be calm and quiet down but he just couldn't contain himself. At least he was somewhat quiet.
"I love you too. I just...this feels so surreal."

He smiled."I know....do you want to finish eating?" He asked, not sure what Finny wanted to do now. He couldn't help but to give the siren a kiss on the cheek, he was so happy to be engaged now and knew in his heart that this was the best time.
