Marcus would be so mad at her for putting Damien in danger, but it seemed the only way to get Marcus to stop leaving. At least for a little while. It would also mean that they could call them when someone other than vampires came after Marcus and Damien. If push came to shove, she would end up stuck with them for a while.

"For starters, we'd need to get ourselves to Rome and invited to a charity event." She said, opening the letter she had found earlier. It wasn't exactly an invite to the charity ball, but it was a letter from a friend on the council asking her kindly to reconsider visiting. It would be her ticket in, she just needed an actual way into the event.

"Secondly, you cannot act like your usual emotionally driven self. If we do this, you leave everything behind. Feelings are a liability and might get exploited, despite the fact that you'll mostly be watching." Brushing a hair out of her face, before she glanced over the letter. "On the bright side, we already have our inside man in place so someone will be on our side."
