Dahlia was making a rather bold move considering all that her history was and those involved in it. Yes it was right and good that she realized her brother would not always have her there to keep him safe and healthy, but it seemed this thought caused her to take a rather drastic measure. The council witch was going to move her brothers out to the dorms for the high school whether he wished to go or not.
Of course dahlia wasn't going to send the child away right off the bat, she isn't that insane. The witch was going to make sure the building was a safe place for her brother first and foremost. Sharp heels clicked along the ground as dahlia made her way into the main office of the high school dorm complex. Pink curls bounced slightly with each step, but one could tell she had a goal in mind as she made her way to the counter. She stopped before it and let her expression be masked by false neutrality as she spoke crisply to the one on the other side of the counter.
"Hello, I'm here to learn more about this place being safe for a family member of mine. I've made an appointment for such. It should be under the name Dahlia?"
She wasn't letting her usually craziness show itself, not until she was aware of who would be the one convincing her this was safe for a young paraplegic witch.Outfit

outfit~*~ Marcus had decided to take up teaching as a reason to stay in town. Sure, he had plenty of work to do elsewhere, but by tying up a day at the high school and another day at the college, he was making sure he didn't leave his family anytime soon and had a reason to stick around for a little longer. Besides, who better to teach business and economics than a vampire who'd done all sorts of things? He often got Arya to help him out when it came to correcting stuff, but that was a family matter and she didn't seem to mind. That particular day, someone had decided to put him in charge of the dorms. Even though he only was there a day a week, the school thought it only appropriate that he took his turn managing things as well as everyone else. It was a rotating service between the teachers, though it usually worked just fine that way as no one got stuck doing something they didn't like for very long, and for the really busy teachers it was a nice break. Busy reviewing his lesson plan for the next day, Marcus had almost forgotten about his scheduled meeting with a woman named Dahlia, so when the receptionist came and told him his meeting was there. Walking out of the office and to the desk, he smiled slightly at the woman, not being one for smiles really. "You must be Dahlia. I'm Marcus, hopefully I'll be able to answer any questions you have if you'll just step through here for a moment," he didn't really touch the witch as he had no interest in making a connection with her. All he knew was if he wanted to work at the school, he had to do a good job at the dorms and that included being friendly towards anyone asking questions among other things. Businesslike was nothing new at least.

Dahlia finally let her wide and near sinister looking smile span her face as a man stepped out of an office and over to her. She could see the smile was mere pleasantry as her smile just grew wider. It was in that moment of her following Marcus into the office that the receptionist looked at the witch oddly with how she dressed. Stepping inside, she not only let her personality start to show but also start with her questions.
"Well since this is the dorms for this school, I'm here to move my little brother into this place for the school year. Now he is a very delicate child so his room must accommodate to his safety and disabilities."
her voice was bright and eerily cheery even though she was talking of her brother and the goal keeping him safe. She toned her smile down a slight bit before reaching into her bag for a note book. It contained a checkbook of what would be required for Vincent's boarding to be possible. the list mostly covered wheelchair access and all the importance of him keeping his medications on him.
"Now my darling brother had a nasty accident not so long ago and is now bound to a wheelchair. Do you happen to have rooms build with access for him?"
She still had her smile on her face and was looking like someone that had been removed from a victorian horror movie with her oddly eerie heir.

Marcus really didn't like to be told what to do, so he really hated being put on Dorms duty as he wasn't in control of anything that way. All he could do all day was answer questions from everyone else or make sure everything was alright. Hopefully he'd be replaced before long because he unnerved the receptionist.
When the witch started talking in that overly cheery voice, Marcus couldn't help but shrug slightly and pull out a flyer for the lady. "Anything you really need to know about the dorms are in that flyer. Of course, as you probably already know, frailty and delicacy don't always go well with leeches, mutts and freaks," he said with a slight chuckle. Well, if he was going to be mean towards the werewolves, it didn't seem fair not to make the worst out of everyone else and not make it obvious who his favorite students were.
It was obvious the witch was dead serious about putting her brother in the dorms though, and when he learned about the wheelchair it made sense to want to make it easier for him as well to get around. Pulling out a book of his own, he flipped through the pages until he found the blueprints for the current layout of the dorms. "It seems like they've added one entrance that's accessible with a wheelchair, but that's in the girl's wing and it'd be quite a long way through the common room and such to a suitable room. Some rooms are bigger than others, I'm sure we could fit your brother into a double room and just refurnish a bit to accommodate him?" There was no point not keeping it businesslike, though he was already longing for the day to end and just go to either of his fledgelings and take them out to eat.
Looking up from the blue prints for a moment, he raised an eyebrow at her outfit and appearance in general. She didn't exactly seem like the kind of lady that should be raising anyone anyways. "I'm sure they've been meaning to make the main entrance accessible to anyone as well, though you'd have to talk to the principal about that." [/color]

Dahlia gave a chuckle at what Marcus said about the other students and safety, but in reality she didn't find it funny in the slightest. The witch knew more than enough charms to keep the others from hurting her brother, the focus now was that his clumsy tendencies with still getting used to his wheelchair weren't going to leave him maimed in his own dorm. She took the book into her manicured hands easily, taking her time in some sense as she looked over the flyer. She looked up at the other when the mention of a double room was brought up. She could easily fix that to make it safe for her brother, heck she wouldn't even need to use excessive magic if that were the case. She put the flyer she had been looking through down before letting her grin spread across her cheeks again.
"now I quite like the idea of that.could you show me to one of these double rooms? I'll send a letter of my own to the principal about the main doors being easier for my brother darling to move through."
She couldn't just assume the size and build of a room if she was going to be making it Vincent-friendly now could she?

When Dahlia said she wanted to see the room before making a decision, he opened a drawer in the desk and took out a set of keys. Naturally the students got their own set for their rooms, but there was always a skeleton key in the office for whoever was responsible if they needed to enter one of the unused dorm rooms for whatever reason.
"Well, if you'll follow me, I'll take you to one of the unused double rooms." He said and got back on his feet and gestured for the witch to follow him. "You're on the council, aren't you?" he said as he opened the door for the witch. He knew there was something familiar about the name of the witch, after all he knew Arya was part of the council. Heck, she'd even included that no good husband of hers from time to time when she was busy with other things.
Marcus led the way through the building until they reached a room he knew was empty. Unlocking the door, he let Dahlia in first. It was one of the rooms closer to the common rooms, meant for two people, but surely they could make an exception given the kid's situation. "I'll let you take a look around," he said quietly, allowing the witch the time she needed was such a simple gesture really. So he remained by the door, not following her around the room.

Dahlia nodded, her smile never failing as she moved to follow Marcus to the room. She didn't so much as flinch at being asked if she were on the council, her grin coming back to her lips.
"Why yes i happen to be on the council. Do you know one of the other lovelies that are part of it that you ask?"
Her heels clicked along the floor before coming to a stop at the room. She liked the fact that it was near the common rooms, it would make it easier for the boy to try and make friends even though she knew he would hide away for the first week or so. She stepped in with a little nod, pulling her notebook out once more along with a pen. She looked around the room with alert eyes, her stare sharp as she was clearly picking the place apart with her gaze. She was jotting down small notes as she looked at the beds then to the desk. She was even muttering to herself at times as she was trying to figure out how to charm things like the door so as to make access and locking strangers out much easier. She suddenly stopped all movements and shut her notebook, looking back to Marcus with her grin.
"This one is quite nice but I would like to see another of the rooms if you don't mind?"

So he'd been right about the witch. From his fledgeling he'd learned a few of the identities of the council members, just because he was curious. Besides, the more he knew of this 'secret' council, the easier it was to get by under their radar. When asked if he knew one of the other members, he couldn't help but chuckle slightly. "Let's just say I own the vampiress. Arya's one of mine."Â There really was no point in lying about that part, especially since she'd done some good things too, not just been a thorn in his side.
It was actually quite fascinating to watch the witch study the room like she was already planning on how to decorate it and make it suitable for her brother. She seemed to have a knack for designs and it was good that she took such attention to detail when it came to making it safe. If his fledgelings hadn't already been so old, he would've gone to great lengths to make sure they were safe as well.
"Honestly, I'm thankful for a chance just to get out of that office. I'll show you all the available rooms if you want, just to stay away from the phone and the kids." Letting the witch out of the room first, he locked the door after he'd exited himself and continued a bit down the hall to show her another room meant for two students. "There are surprisingly many available rooms that could be suitable," he said as he unlocked the door for the witch.

Dahlia wasn't surprised that it was the vampire as the one Marcus knew. She couldn't even think of any of the other members knowing this guy, mainly the chimera boy with how fragile he seemed. She merely nodded at learning this was the council vamp's maker more or less. She gave a chuckle at the other telling her to stay away from the phones and students. The witch was reletively harmless, so why would it even matter? She wasn't one to lash out irrationally, well for the most part at least.
Dahlia followed into the next room and found it to be less than liked in comparison to the first room. Only thing she could really even consider about it is the view from the window. SHe knew her brother would want to stare out at times but wasn't sure the rest of the place would work well.
"If only I could find a room with such a pretty view it would be grand. This one seems...outdated even to my standards."
She gave a heart filled laugh at this and jotted down the room number, marking as insignificant in her notebook.

Marcus was sure that if he'd been around longer he would've known more of the council members personally, but as it was he now knew who three of the members were and only two of them were people he could stand. Arya had told him Jack was a council member, which made the whole thing with Damien even more despicable for the werewolf and Arya's little indiscretion more understandable. Even if it was disgusting.
It appeared they would have to locate another room with a pretty view if this one wasn't to her likings. "Well, it's an old building. Some of these rooms haven't really been used in decades." he let her out and continued to guide her through the hallway until they reached another room with a view. It was a little bit smaller, but it was still a double room.
"The most important thing is finding something that fits your needs." Dear lord, if he'd known all that came with teaching a class here and there, he never would've taken the job. It wasn't that he wasn't amused by the witch, it was just that he hadn't realizing how many other things he'd rather spend him time with than mundane dorm duty. Maybe he could do something about that later.

Dahlia couldn't help the wide grin that crossed her face at hearing this was an older building. The witch loved things that had age to them even if it wasn't as much as victorian era aging than just wear and tear. "Well age just makes things all the better in my opinion." She followed out to the next room, seeing instantly that this was a slightly smaller room.SHe had her notebook open and at the ready to start writing down, her expression growing more serious for once as she inspected everything. The last thing she did was move to the window. It had a rather nice view , one she could see her brother enjoying very much. Sure the frame of it would need to be given some life with curtains, but the witch didn't worry such about that. "I think I've found the room dear Marcus. With this extra bed we can remove this when we move by darling brother no?" SHe made a gesture to one of the beds as if to prove her statement. What was the point of keeping them both in here if only one would get in the way?

Marcus didn't know exactly how old the building was, though he was sure it was mentioned in the flyer, he just had never been bothered reading it. Only things he'd read were what the students had to learn and which rooms were available and how to deal with stuff like that. After all, it wasn't very often people came asking him questions, they usually waited until someone else was responsible.
"Sweet Dahlia, there's nothing more important than finding the perfect room," he chuckled slightly. This witch was actually amusing him. It was quite refreshing for a change. "Moving out the extra bed would be no problem at all," he said with a shrug. Honestly, people who planned to stay there for four years brought their own beds with them to make sure they slept well.

Dahlia looked back at the vampire with a wide grin, finally getting him to play along with her way of speaking. It was very much nice to hear that the bed could be removed, her fingers moving to run over the edge of the bed for a moment. "That is very grand to hear. Now what is the next step in making this able for my brother to move in? Any papers i need to sign?" The witch wanted to make the move as soon as possible. IT wasn't that she wanted her brother to leave her home but he truly did need to become independent from his sister and how to take care of himself.

This witch sure was an odd one, maybe that was why she was on the council. He had a feeling the whole council was just one sorry excuse for an odd group. Maybe there was no other place for the strange characters he knew were on the council, at least they liked to think they were doing something good.
"Oh I'm sure we can find all the right forms and papers for you back in the office and you could get going on the refashioning of the room as soon as you'd like after that." Honestly, he had no clue what papers she had to sign, but he'd find out fast enough as he could once he was back in the office.
"So how fast do you want to do get moving?"

Dahlia moved to follow Marcus back to the office, her heels clicking in a means that was far too loud to bee needed. she had a time frame in her mind so as a means to keep her busy with him and having much more time to understand how well this a lll will work for Vincent in the end. SHe picked her head up at the wuestion on how fast she wanted this done only to grin mildly. "If this can be done within the next two weeks that would just be smashing. Vincent needs to learn his conditions can't hold him back forever." Her eyes couldn't help to portray her worry over the child though as she was actually scared to let him go from her protection. Would he even know how to stop his stress level from spiking? Or would him being away from Dahlia finally allow him to find his elemental alignment?
