This was it, the day that the enemy would make their way to the outskirts of Bitter Springs. He had assembled his pack and his uncle who was the pack to the Romanians had gone over the battle strategy with their allies. The Romanians were huge, all of them were muscular and had a thick accent. It was clear where Jack had gotten his body structure from, course he wasn't as big as his relatives.
The town of Bitter Springs was practically empty, only a few remained and they were being protected thanks to Casey. The huge pack of wolves made their way into the forest, casually walking down a trail that would lead them to their battle field. Jack had a small group of five wolves around the perimeter of Bitter Springs, just in case if the enemy pack decided to send a small fleet of their own into another direction.
The witches, vampires, superkids and other allies would join them on the battle field soon. He could smell the enemy ahead...and their were alot of them. Once they came to the battle field which really was a huge opening in a field, the town of Bitter Springs were behind them and the only thing separating the town from this battle field was a dense forest.
Jack and his uncle were in-front of the long line of werewolves that gathered and waited for their other allies and enemies to show up. They were still in their human form and Jack started to talk with his pack, going over some important notes and detail before turning back to face the opening on the other side of the meadow. They were getting closer and closer and he prayed that their allies would make it here in time and hope they would even come.

Indigo was shocked at what she had been called into a battle by her two best friends and her representative in the council. The ice Phoenix had never been in a fight of this scale but she wasn't just going to back down out of fear. She marched along side Eric, both still maintaining human forms until the battle began.
Said chimera was anxious of what was going to come, trying his best to stand tall as he moved to stand with jack and the other wolves. He had organized some of the bulkier superhumans to assist with keeping an eye on the rest of the outskirts in case they chose another way in.
The Conall brothers were there already with the rest of their pack. Bri didn't want to have to fight as he stood far too casual for mosts liking, but the glare to his eyes said he was willing to if it meant his brother was safe. Benji on the other hand looked restless as he looked ready to transform now and rip any offending wolf limb from limp. This was their safe haven and he wasn't going to let some monster of a pack try and take that from them.
The tension in the air seemed to grow heavier as Dahlia had made her way onto the field, an assistant on each side. Andre was farther back from the group, already starting to load his gun with silver bullets for the impending war. The pink haired witch had bare feet which was odd for battle but the look to her face was one that could kill. The twin on the other hand looked ready to summon their elements even though they knew their focus was to keep everyone healed. They looked to jack, nodding that all three witches were ready. Dahlia stood tall as she rested her hand on her bag, it filled with masks she carved just for this battle to fight not only as beast but as a strong witch as she was. "let's give these bastards some of our own personal hells."

The day had finally arrived and Sammy and Beau had taken their places on the outskirts of bitter Falls by Jack’s side. Everyone had turned up that were deemed well enough to fight, those that weren’t had been taken somewhere safe within the town to hide out leaving only the odd few people with suicide wishes wondering the streets now. Beau had decided to join on the basis that if he didn’t he’d never be able to avenge his father again and this only felt right. Of course, Sammy hadn’t been too happy but the boy was old enough to make his choices and fight now so he had given up trying to talk his younger sibling out of it after only a few attempts. They stood listening to everything Jack had to say, slightly overwhelmed by the outcome of it all. There were werewolves, witches, superhuman's and even vampires stood by their side as they all prepared to their best ability.
Maxxie and Tate had agreed to join but only for the mere fun of it. Obviously, Maxxie finding the whole situation a little less fun that his brother who couldn’t seem to stop running in circles and glaring at the dogs every once in a while. Still, any excuse to fight and cause bloodshed was worth having to be on the same side as them for now. Once this had all blown over, Tate had already started planning out his next shenanigans on the town’s people, especially them of the furry kind.
Stood near the back was Ambrose, as always enjoying the company of himself as he stared at the gathering army but made no attempt to be known. He wasn’t there to fight as such but more be there in the background should his friends need him. He was old enough to know that people were going to lose those close to them and others be critically injured but this was just a way of life, a thing all living creatures had to do to ensure their own safety and the safety of those they loved. Still throughout the boy’s life, he had seen many of his friends fall whilst he always walked away unmarked and unharmed. There was just no point in being involved anymore. Nothing that could make him feel human. The only reason he stood there was because these were his friends and this town was one he had come to love.
The air was cold and the atmosphere was tense, everyone on high alert as they waited for the nightmare heading their way. Some people were scared and others daring the danger to move faster so the fight could begin. However, it was fair to say that everyone’s nerves were on edge at this particular time.

Arya had done her best to try to convince Marcus that he was needed at home, but when that failed because he didn't want to put her precious brother in danger. That only meant she had to do her own bit and try to keep herself out of harms way while protecting the town she'd helped found to begin with. No one came in and tried to massacre what was originally meant to be a safe haven for the gifted. It was unheard of. Even her husband agreed and since they didn't need to worry too much because of Casey, she was glad they could give it their all when they went at tearing the damned mutts apart limb by limb.
Though she didn't want to face Jack again and didn't want Mason to get hurt, Amanda felt like this was the perfect opportunity to use her magic for something useful for once. She'd told her friend exactly where she was going and why, and explained that she didn't want him to worry or come to her aid unless he felt he needed to join the action. There were a few familiar faces among the people fighting, and the redhead was barely able to stand still as she was just aching to go at the wolves. Aching to burn their fur off and fight alongside the friends she noticed on the town's side. Heck, she'd hate to lose more than she needed to in this damn battle.
All her attempts at getting her witch friends to help had failed the vampiress, at least unless you counted them working on a way to keep the town safe after this. Alice herself wasn't much of a fighter, so she remained in the back, having made up her mind to help with the wounded rather than the actual battle. Sure, she had a few useful tricks up her sleeve from studying the gifted for a while, but she really was there mostly to observe. That was her call in life after all, observe, study and learn what was to be learned before moving on.
Amelita wasn't much of a fighter, regardless of her extra activities, but she'd used her survival skills and the past few days to set up as many snares as she could throughout the forest. Far enough away from the town itself to be a danger to anyone fighting for the town, but hopefully it would be enough to slow down a few of these wolves heading their way. For the first few minutes of battle, until things got messy, she'd promised Jade she would shoot what she could. Try to take out as many wolves as possible with her silver-tipped arrows dipped in wolfsbane especially for the occasion. If she could take out a few wolves before she had to stay back and focus on helping where she could without getting hurt or having to fight, she would. But only because she'd like to have a place to call home after this was all over as well.

Jack waited for everyone to show up, smiling once the super kids and a few of the witches in town had joined them. It made him happy that everyone was at least going to fight and protect this city. His uncle was getting his own pack together, making sure that they were in their right place and giving orders.
He looked to the two brothers who were the ones that were being targeted, happy to see the youngest one had come. He walked over to them and talked with them, thanking them for coming.
A familiar smell caught his attention and looked to his left to see Amanda and join them. He wasn't going to start any drama with her, so he basically ignored her and was busy talking with Sammy and Beau.
Jade, the pink hair huntress who had her special made bullets for werewolves was making her way into the forest. She was dressed in leather black pants, leather black halter top, stiletto heeled boots that came to her knees and had her long, pink hair tied in a sideways pony tail. She put her sunglasses on as she walked through the forest, a pretty big gun over her shoulder and had a belt holster full of bullets and two smaller guns.
Once she got to the battle field, she blew Jack a kiss before finding Amelita. He started to get her weapons ready and looked to the pink hair hunter. Nervous? She asked, cocking the AK-47.

Eric and indigo looked around at the others that had chosen to join, both taking in account who all were wolves for the sake of not taking them out during the fight. Eric could feel his hair stand on end as he could hear the enemy getting closer, the rumble of a growl in his chest at the energy. A snarl looked ready to stretch across his face as he held back the urge to transform. Indigo had formed ice spears for her own use, wanting to hold back with turning into a massive ice bird until the battle looked to be turning for the worse. her eyes had a fierce glare to them as she moved to stand near the twins, a look coming to her face for a moment as if not wanting to say goodbye. "No matter what happens we're gonna get out of this in one piece you hear boys?" Both the twins had nodded, Dahlia letting a mad smile split her lips at seeing the friends interact. even she was hoping this wasn't going to be the last ordeal for her. She wanted to be able to go and bring her brother home where he belonged, and by damn she would go down kicking and screaming if she couldn't get that. She watched Indigo move back into her place as her cousin stepped forth, gun at the ready.
Andre was so focused to live through this and put a bullet in every enemy wolf he saw so long as he breathed. He was going to keep this place safe for both his fragile cousin and his boyfriend, both having been shipped away for their safety. the hunter was going to make these wolves pay for putting him in such a situation after all this time of finally starting to fall into something normal and calm in his life.
The conall brothers were still at the ready but to Bri the air grew errily silent other than the sound of a large group of heart beats. he was glad there was near no talking as he tried to focus on exactly how many were coming their way. He could tell they were werewolf, but the numbers sounded to drown each other out. He started to extend his claws as he walked over to jack, his voice mildly hushed. "They're here." It seemed other were starting to pick up on this as well, the shifting of the trees and the distant growls proving Bri had been right on the money of them being ever so close.

Sammy could see the fear in his brothers eyes mixed with the determination to stand his ground and fight for his life. Hell, if it wasn’t for his curiosity then no one would ever be in this mess. Still, Sammy kept an over protective arm around Beau and encouraged him to stay focused rather than start chasing his tail like he tended to do in times of crisis. In the distance the footsteps could be heard. It wasn’t like they were crashing through the tree’s, destroying everything in their path just yet. No, they were being sly; trying to keep on the low though their numbers denied them that privilege. Sammy kept his ears strained whilst his eyes remained on Jack and the rest of the pack, waiting for the first signal to transform when the opposing pack closed in.
Maxxie was trying to keep his eye on Tate as well as the other ‘gifted’ in the area. Never in his life had he felt this amount of nausea, his eyes darting from one being to the other as though expecting someone to start arguing soon. He had never seen this amount of gifted working together before. Tate seemed to be in his element, eyeing up the girl that kept shouting, rolling his eyes at the dogs and trying like hell to lose his over protective brother. There was so much to do and too little time. He could only hope to god that this fight was going to be worth the socialising and pretending to give a crap in the end. Still, if Bitter Springs was to be there new home, Tate wasn’t going to go down without a fight even if he did bad mouth the place and its people on a regular basis.
Ambrose could feel a change in the air, the nightmare creeping closer and could tell everyone was just about ready to throw themselves in dangers way to save the town. It was quite patriotic to say the least, especially when the town had been around for years and every time something threatened its existence, the town’s people stood together and fought. Not something you saw every day. He glanced over at each group, his face showing no emotion though a slight sadness washed over him. He knew birth sides were going to lose people and he couldn’t help feel a slight sorrow take place in his heart before he quickly shrugged it away and put it down to ‘life’. “They’re nearly here… Soon it will be too late to turn away and run. Soon these lands will be riddled with the corpse's of the fallen… Oh isn’t this delightful!” He said quietly, barely loud enough for anybody to hear before a smile broke acros his face and he finally walked over to one of the groups to find out what they had planned.
This whole time Mason had been sat at home with his fingers drumming impatiently on his kitchen table and his mind going in to overtime with negative thoughts. Yes he had been told he wasn’t needed and yes he had been told not to worry but that was just it. He did worry, and not just for Amanda. Reaching the outskirts of town, mason made a beeline to find Amanda. The least he could do was make sure she was ok, even if he hid in the background and helped out where he was needed. He couldn’t just sit at home pacing his bedroom whilst his friends fought for their lives. Catching sight of Jack, a grim expression crossed his face before he saw the redhead he was looking for. Bounding up to her, he looked tired already and out of breath. “Amanda… There is no way I am sitting at home whilst you get to throw your flames about like the queen of lava land. Besides, defensive seems to be what I’m good at. Just don't expect me to be throwing myself in front of anyone Ok. I did not come here to die funnily enough.” He offered her a small, encouraging smile though it was clear his nerves were sending him over the edge. He hadn’t actually seen a werewolf in its full form before but Jack’s half form had been enough to make him panic at the thought of hundreds of them heading their way.

While a lot of the others were anxious to start the fighting and just get it over with, Amelita couldn't help but force herself to stop shaking. She was nervous like hell, she'd never expected to be in a confrontation like this, and if it hadn't been for Jade teaching her things, she never would've agreed to helping if it hadn't been for her mentor. So, naturally, when the pink haired huntress asked if she was nervous, Gale barely managed to nod as she readied her bow for the fight. "Just breathe," she mumbled as a reminder to herself. As long as she kept breathing, she'd do just fine. As long as no one killed her that was. Last thing she wanted was to die in this fight and come back a vampire or be turned into one of those monsters.
By the time everyone was ready for the fight to begin and the first signs of the wolves could be heard in the distance, Alice was already keeping to the back, ready to pull wounded people out of the fight. This truly wasn't her battle, but that didn't mean she couldn't do her best to help where she could. Heck, she even recognized a few of the people fighting and would have to make sure they made it out alright. She knew one of her 'friends' wasn't any more ready than she was, but they would do the best they could.
While the few vampires she had managed to rally was anxious to start fighting and tear werewolves to shreds, she'd had to remind a lot of them to only kill the enemy and not their own. It hadn't been easy for Arya to convince them to join, especially not when they couldn't take out a few of the wolves living in town at the same time, so she'd had to convince them that there would be losses among them as well. As soon as it was perfectly clear that wolves would get injured and possibly die on both sides, it was a completely different matter with the promise of immunity towards their bites. The vampiress herself glanced at her husband, hoping they could make it through all this without too much of a hiccup.
The moment Mason arrived, Amanda couldn't help but sigh heavily. She hadn't wanted for him to be involved as she really didn't want for her friend to get hurt. He did have a point though, it was better to be where the action was than to sit at home and worry. She could not, however let him be this tired before the fighting started. "You know I wouldn't never expect you to risk your life, I would never forgive you if you did come here to die. You know that, besides, I have a gift for you now that you're here." With an encouraging smile, Amanda rested a hand on his arm and gave him another magic boost, more this time as she knew he would probably burn through it faster than the last time. "Just to be on the safe side," she chuckled and brushed a hair out of his face. "Stay safe, I'll be right beside you if you need me."

Jack uncle, Andrei was over 6 ft and 7 inches and was nothing but pure muscle with a head of curly hair. Andrei growled at the found of distant growls and could hear the sound of trees practically being uprooted. These wolves were strong, he wasn't going to deny that but he was proud of his Romanian heritage...and that itself gave him, his pack and his nephew a advantage.
Jack looked to his uncle, seeing that smirk on the mans face and just shook his head at how happy his uncle seem to be. It had been years since they talked, and now the man was by his side and ready to help him defend the place that Jack had run off to when he was only sixteen.
Hunter was with another small pack of wolves that were looking watch over the city, he heard no thoughts around them...all the thoughts were centered in one place and that was the place where Jack and the others had gone to fight. He sent a telepathic message to Jack, telling him that all the wolves were heading their way. Jack had told Hunter to come join them, but to let the smaller groups of wolfs stay where they are unless told to by his uncle or himself. Hunter gave the orders before taking off, now standing beside of Jack with a smile. He missed Vincent and looked down at the artistic bracelet looking thing that Vincent had drew and gave a signal that he was okay to Vincent.
Jade looked to Amelita with a smile. Remember what I told you...don't panic, if you panic you will mess up...and also remember who the enemy is okay....I have your back as long as you have mine. She promised with a smile before getting her gun ready and once it was cocked and everything, she looked through the scoop, seeing some heavy movement in the brush and trees.
Jack had his eyes on the forest, not even paying attention to anyone else at the moment but when a certain little witch scent caught his attention, he looked to see...Mason had join them. He was half tempted to tell Mason to leave, but it wasn't because he hated Mason...it was because he couldn't stand to watch the witch be killed right in-front of him. He just gave Mason a somewhat sad and worried expression, before looking away and stared off into the forest where the wolves would be coming from.
Remember...don't shift until they start charging...okay..... He ordered the pack.

eric was trying his hardest not to change into his chimera form as it could feel the energy signature of the approaching wolves grow strong and stronger. He was going to let the animals he was part of cut loose for once during this match and planned on coming out alive.
Indigo had chosen to stand near Kaleb, not wanting to leave her best best friend just yet for the fight. all three teens knew this could be the last fight, but they weren't giving up. Kolt had already built up heat in his body in case someone got too close to Kaleb or Dahlia and the water witch the same with his own element. Indigo had ice coating various parts of her body as she swore she could see the enemy in the distance with her hawk like eyes.
The conall brothers both looked itching to transform now, but did as their alpha said, keeping in place and waiting for the assult to start. Benji looked unable to be still as he was dying for a fight right now, and in his mind this was his chance to prove to Bri and the other wolves that he was not just some pup as they believed him to be. Bri on the other hand was trying to drown out the heartbeats and pounding feet on the ground as the wolves drew closer. He was overly concerned that his brother would push the limits of his size and get hurt, but now was time for battle and not what could happen.
Dahlia was humming in a means to channel her powers over the earth into her body, eyes shut as she joined herself to as much of the battle field as she could. She was going to use the environment against the enemy wolves with all her being. She looked over her shoulder at her cousin, the hunter twisting a ring with a red stone around the chain it had it on as a means to calm his nerves. The two ashwoods had a silent conversation in a sense, both knowing all the risks before there was finally a break in the trees that revealed the pack trying to destroy their home.

It seemed the pack were ready to fight. Sammy stood close to his brother who looked as terrified as he did determined. He could see in his younger sibling’s eyes that he had waited a long time for this moment, finally hoping and praying that this was the time he’d get his revenge for what had happened all those years ago. Sammy placed a hand on beau’s shoulder and gave it a gentle squeeze and tried to look as encouraging as he possibly could. “Look… I don’t want you running head on in to this. If you get injured or tired, I need you to leave. I can’t risk you getting hurt Ok. Not for him, not for anyone. He will be dealt with, I can promise you that… just be careful and don’t let revenge cloud your judgement.” It was almost worrying to Sammy to see his brother like this, almost as though struggling to stay in his human skin and not change right here, right now and take off to finish this alone. Beau merely nodded his head but didn’t take his eyes of the direction the enemy were coming from. Seeing Hunter arrive, Sammy gave him a small smile too but quickly turned his attention back to his brother who was shaking quite uncontrollably as his anxiousness built up. It was like the boy actually couldn’t wait to get out there and finish this, no matter how scared he was. This was something that caused Sammy to tighten his grip around his brother’s shoulder and shake his head in warning. They had to all stick together this time; no one could play the hero.
Still wondering around the group that had formed, Maxxie had given up on babysitting his brother, realising that most of the people here could look after themselves anyway if the youngest got too upfront and forward about anything. Leaving the boy, he had noticed a familiar face in the crowd that he hadn’t expected to be there. Amanda. Frowning, he found himself wondering why she had chosen to fight. It wasn’t like she had anything to offer amongst these freaks. Did she? Then again, she would probably be wondering the same about him. Keeping his head down, he hoped she wouldn’t notice him as he quickly turned around and walked in the opposite direction. He couldn’t worry about her significance now. He’d have to bring it up with her later when all of this was over. She’d be going soon anyway right? It’s not like a human could stay and fight…
Ambrose had quite literally spent the last five minutes humming to himself and barely able to contain his excitement. It had been years since he had seen a fight with the potential this one had. His strange smile never left his face as he paced the ground, mumbling about the death and chaos it was going to cause. Of course, some things could be fixed after but the things that couldn’t? Well that was just a part of life wasn’t it? Death was beautiful and normal, a way of cleansing the world for a new era. Seeing the boy he knew as Tate from school make a beeline for him, his eyes widened some before he quickly hurried off to try and get away from the irritable boy who liked to tease him and hoped he would get the message and go bug someone else.
Meanwhile, Mason was happy to be by Amanda’s side. Being sat at home he had almost chewed his nails right down with nerves and even now, with the thought of the monsters they’d be fighting against and those they were fighting with, his nerves were causing him to tremble slightly as he fidgeted nervously with the bobbles on his beanie. Every so often his eyes glanced over to Jack but he kept reminding himself he wasn’t there for him. Now wasn’t the right time to be letting his emotions run wild. Pushing jack to the back of his mind, he felt Amanda place her hand on him and felt the same, warm rush of energy flow through him as he had that night only this time, it didn’t scare him. If anything, it gave him a little more confidence. He couldn’t help but to chuckle nervously at what his friend said before raising his palm and watching a small, golden flame appear. So he hadn’t got the hang of controlling it fully yet but he could sure pull of a fierce flame thrower. “I think you meant to say, if you need me…” He replied teasingly with a slight smirk growing on his face as the flame turned blue and grew bigger. “We’ll be fine… quit worrying. We got each other’s backs right?”

Arya and her husband gathered up the few vampires they had managed to bring with them and planned quickly how best to keep each other safe and realized that the best way to go about it would be to just stay close to one another. Everyone else had other people they were watching out for or who were watching out for them, so it was important that they did the same. No one was alone, regardless of species at the moment, as long as the town could be kept safe from these horrific mutts.
Amelita nodded at what she was told. "I'll do my best, I didn't come here to die," she said with a rather nervous chuckle. It was true though, the young huntress had every intention of making it out of the fight alive, regardless of what she'd have to do to survive. Now was as good a time as any to put the things Jade had taught her to good use as they would've been a total waste otherwise. Placing an arrow steadily on the string of her bow, she pulled it back, ready to release at a moment's notice.
This kid was actually quite strange. Alice hadn't noticed before now how odd he was acting, but she decided to stay close enough to make sure at least he didn't get hurt or whatever from the attacks. She wasn't going to be much help other than actually pulling people away when they were hurt and try to heal who she could while rushing others to the hospital.
It really did calm her to no end that Mason seemed to accept her gift this time and the confidence that came with it. Hopefully it would be more than enough to ensure that her friend could give them hell while making sure they looked out for one another. "Well, as long as we stick together, nothing can defeat us," she grinned at her friend and readied a flame of her own, ready to start attacking the moment the wolves were within reach. Even if she could do so much more than burn the enemy, she figured it would be best to start with fire and cause as much damage as possible before the wolves got too close, and rather focus on the other things when they were closer.

Jack saw the pack finally, they were like everything he thought that would be. He felt his fangs and claws grow now, baring his fangs at the alpha of the enemy pack. His uncle had shifted now into his form, hackles rose and the hair on the back of his neck had risen up and fangs bared as a menacing growl erupted from the gigantic wolves throat.
Hunter glared at the enemy pack that had finally showed themselves and felt his inner wolf wanted to attack already, but he held off as Jack said. Jack had no control over what the Romanian's do, but he had control over the Bitter Springs pack, so he had to follow what the man said and remained unchanged as with the rest of the Bitter Springs pack.
Jade narrowed her violet eyes at the pack of wolves that burst through the tree line. She had half a mind to just throw a grenade that was filled with silver nitrate at them, but held off as Jack told her to and looked to Amelita, shaking her head lightly to not fire yet.
Jack did take one last look at Mason and Amanda, almost sick to his stomach at the sight but went back to looking at this pack and watched as his uncle and the hundreds of now gigantic wolves charged. Jack gave the signal to now attack. As him and his pack ran, so did the enemy towards them and they all shifted in mid attack, tearing into their enemy. Jack and his uncle tore one enemy apart, limb by limb and merely tossed the pieces and went for another.

Eric could feel his body start to bend and break into its chimera form as the front line of the enemy came into view. Indigo had called another of her spears, realizing this was finally it and that she would need to make her move as soon as the Bitter Springs pack made their move. The twins were busy channel their energy, Dahlia already starting to push roots more upwards from the ground. She was ready to catch enemy wolf with the roots now, her eyes burning with an unnatural fire.
The Conall brothers were both growling at this point, one on the verge of transformation and the other wanting to take off to shield the younger. They were trying to wait patiently for Jack's signal, but Benji was trying his hardest not to just follow the Romanians.
Finally as if the tension couldn't get any worse, Jack finally made a move to the wolves to attack. THe Conall brothers seemed to work as a single unit tag teaming a wolf at a time, the smaller seeming to always go in for the kill while the older would guard and taunt. Indigo had all but flown into the fray, ice spears able to jam into the neck of one wolf, another trying to bite her but her thick icy skin seeming to stop such from happening. The twins were standing their ground, Kaleb preparing to heal any injured teammates while Kolt circled close and burned any enemy wolf that got too close. Dahlia had lifted the roots from the ground now, some able to snag the killer wolves by a leg or tail, keeping them held in place as others could destroy them. Andre was now moving into the fight as well, Eric seeming to choose him as a team mate while in his massive chimera form. The beasts in Eric were going wild as he ended up knocking away two enemies, empty eyes full of rage as he snarled. They were all going to make these wolves pay.

Amongst the crowd, tension was building up as the pack grew closer. Towards the end, everyone was in silence, their eyes on the horizon as they waited for the signal. Sammy still held his brother, already his fangs bared and ready to shift forms at the first sightings of the ones he once called his family. He tried to ignore the fact that he knew his cousins would be involved, having been dragged in to this through no fault of their own other than they were family so would have had to take part in this pathetic age long fight. Beau still hadn’t spoke, his full concentration going into not shifting right there and then. His eyes swam with tears though he didn’t cry, he had waited long enough for this day and it seemed that even if this did all end well, it still wasn’t going to bring his father back. Finally, they saw them and for a moment, everything stood still, waiting for Jack’s signal before they were all let lose to defend their town and those they loved. Then it was chaos. Keeping close to beau, Sammy allowed his brother to take the first couple down, watching in shock at the ruthlessness the younger one had before he finally shifted and charged head first in to the opposing team.
On the other side of the group, Tate, who had being annoying Ambrose whilst Maxxie had tried in vain to explain that this wasn’t the time, had joined the front of the pack within seconds of hearing the signal and was taking no time in enjoying the cheap thrills of playing with his prey before snapping their necks as he leapt from one to the other without barely being noticed. Maxxie, seeing the smile on his brother’s face had rolled his yes. Apologised to Ambrose before also rushing to take his place by his brother’s side as somebody had to look out for the trouble starter.
Mason had only really realised the trouble he was getting himself in to once he had laid eyes on the opposing pack, his blood running cold as his feet froze to the floor. Werewolves were much bigger and not a fluffy as he had hoped they would be. Still, the fire stayed in the palm of his hand as he gave a quick, awkward smile to Amanda before deciding standing in the same spot with wide eyes wasn’t going to help this situation. From ahead, he heard the deafening crunch as the Bitter Springs pack collided with the other and wincing, he immediately found himself worrying about Jack yet again. Taking Amanda’s hand, he dragged her forward towards the front of the fight, the flames shooting from his hand knocking a couple of wolves back that were attempting to creep up on their friends. There were a lot more to look out for than he had initially thought, a few times he had to spin around at the last minute to burn an un-expecting wolf in the face before it go to him first.
