Echo Location-Duncan has extremely keen hearing in means of allowing him to track distances of objects and the direction its in. It operates very much like how a bat actually uses it only he doesn't have to make any noise to start the process. loud frequencies or banging noises tend to cause him to become disoriented because of this.

Blind vision-Duncan's senses in general are heightened far beyond that of humans. His sense of smell, taste, and touch are extremely delicate due to this. He can usually be seen walking around barefoot as a means of seeing where he is with his senses. This also plays a hand in his memory as due to his lack of sight he is able to remember the oder and feel of an item more than anything else.

  Personality:Duncan is a bit of a loner at times. He is able to make friends and all but he isn't one to get very close to people. He'd rather surround himself with plant life than actual people. He shows a strong dislike for women in general as he has a bit of a history of being poorly treated by them. He is capable of being kind and easy going about life or when hanging out with people but he tries his hardest to keep the fact that he can't see hidden for the most part. He is very much to the point when he talks, not really one to care if he hurts someone's feelings. He tends to be seen having conversations with flowers and doesn't find anything wrong in it, giving people the impression that he's got a few screws loose. If one can get past his calm and stand off behavior he can be an honest friend under all of it, just don't reject him, or else it leaves him a little messed up for a while and coming back more stand offish than before.

  History:
  Duncan was born to two normal and well off parents. He had all the care in the world but it was rather lack luster with the rejection he constantly faced with his mom. From the day he was born he had no vision in either of of his eyes. They weren't really able to figure that out though until he was around 3-4. He had been born gifted even with his lack of sight, his other senses seeming to make up for his lack of sight ten fold.
  
  As he grew up most of the affection and attention he got was from a nanny and his father, his mother having completely cut herself off from him even though they lived in the same home. He developed his love for flowers thanks to his father, having helped build the perfect garden with him. He had been taught to defend himself with fencing from a young age but other than that was mostly peaceful. Things didn't take a dive for the worst until the loss of his father.
  
  Duncan's father had died in a car crash on the way from a business trip. He was devastated by this at the age of 14, choosing to lock himself up in the garden while his mom kept the run of the house. Eventually his mother showed her real face and took not only Duncan's chance of inheriting anything his father left him, but the garden that the young boy had made with his father. Duncan had been completely eased from Eve Forester's life, the child being left homeless and on his own after the ordeal.
  He had managed to survive though and at the age of 17 after moving from town to town for work and school he came across Bitter Springs. At first he hadn't been sold on it, though it seemed the town was full of people just like him:different and unwanted anywhere else. He ended up moving into the dorms and is currently going to school at the local high school while keeping a nice little job at the town's flowershop.
