~*~ She'd spent all day cooped up in the wine cellar again, reading a book by flash light and occasionally napping, just waiting for sunset. She'd developed an internal watch, it was almost like a huge weight was lifted off her shoulders whenever the sun was coming down. She didn't feel so dreadful anymore. Going upstairs, she showered and borrowed another one of the lady of the house's dresses and a pair of shoes. Ever since moving to Somber Falls, the young vampire had been living in this lady's cellar completely by herself. The woman had kindly invited her inside and she'd soon learned that she could make her forget she was even there if she just stayed out of her way. It worked out well anyway as the lady barely ever was home before sunset, so Jules had plenty of time to borrow clothes, the shower and make-up and get out before she got in. Though it took a lot for her not to kill the lady before sunrise. Entering the grill, she sat down in the far back, as far away from the other customers as possible. After a while, she was almost hugging herself with discomfort. Why did she ever think she could enjoy a drink at a crowded place like that? So thirsty... She was drinking glass after glass of water and it didn't help any at all. Obviously she still hadn't learned. She was rocking slowly back and forth in her seat, doing her very best to not jump the first passing human. One of the waitresses got a little too close to her and she was biting her own lip until it bled to distract herself. "So thirsty," she muttered staring wide-eyed up at the waitress. Standing up she wasn't even aware that she was trying to compel her until she was gently touching her chin with her hand. "It burns... So thirsty. Come with me?" She didn't care if people were looking at her funnily, she was parched and there was only one thing that would help now. The young vampiress tucked a hair behind the woman's ear and worked really hard not to just kill the waitress right then and there. She didn't want cause a mess, regardless of how thirsty she was, so she managed to let go of the waitress and stumble out the door. The pounding hearts of people passing her made her push her hands over her ears in an attempt to block out the noise. She had half a mind to just grab the next human that walked past her and ignore the attention it would get her.

Indigo had chosen to make a night of the town today. Each of her steps with filled with a hum as she nearly wondered about town. She loved to take nights sometimes and just walk around, and with the air being the perfect cool temperature she felt very much at piece. Some people looked at her like she was insane for walking around in cool weather with no sleeves and a lack of coat but the ice Phoenix was over joyed with the cool crisp air that circled around her. Bright shoes clicked on the ground when Indigo found something wasn't right in the air. Green eyes looked around confused before it seemed as if the blood really did freeze in her veins. She saw a woman leaving the grill and covering her ears with her hands as if things were too loud. Being one not to ignore someone that looked to be in pain, Indigo made her way over and tried to talk softly but loud enough to still be heard.
"Hey are you feeling okay? "
She did have genuine consern but at the same time she was curious of what could have set someone off to run out like that. outfit

Even with as little control as she had, she had managed not to get caught so far, as she'd kept her kills to herself, or at the very least not fed so publicly. For the most part, she was doing alright with the transition, it was just when she was trying new things or places that she really had to fight not to make a scene. Usually she'd run where she was going and just stop to feed along the way, leaving a body behind, but she couldn't do that at the grill.
When the woman approached her, Juliette tried to ignore her at first, but when the soft, almost musical voice reached her, followed by that steady beat of her heart, the blonde couldn't take it anymore. "It burns..." she said quietly, fighting the urge to pull the girl into the alley, she'd barely even looked at her because she knew it would be the end of her control.
Her control was slipping away quickly with someone being almost close enough to touch. By the time she looked up at the woman, she was practically shaking, her eyes were dark and she grabbed the bare arms. "This will help though," she said, getting ready to bite the woman regardless of her kindness or their location. {OOC: Lol she'll definitely be surprised and cautious about Indigo in the future after this. You don't have to be gentle with her ^^}

Indigo could tell something was off about the woman. It almost seemed there was something far too dangerous about the blond but the ice Phoenix was being ignorant and just thought the girl was ill. She didn't see her face fully until black eyes looked up at wide green ones. The grip on her arm explained this was a vampire and from the looks of it was very hungry. The temperature dropped rapidly as indigo made a thick coat of ice on her arm so as to stop the vampire from making a meal of her. She used both arms to shove the blond back as emerald eyes glared while her lips gained a thin layer of frost. She held her body in a defensive manner, wanting to keep a distance.
"I'm not some blood bag! You can't go around just biting people!"
She seemed to breathe out little ice shards as the wind seemed to get even more nippy around them. I've crystals formed in the strands of her hair as well as she was more than ready to turn the vampire into a Popsicle.

She didn't understand what was going on, why was this woman suddenly so painfully cold to touch? Juliette hissed in pain as she was pushed back. What kind of magic was this? She'd been snapped back into a reasonable state of mind though by the surprise and just started at the moment when she spoke.
"What are you?" She exclaimed curiously. Her hands were still burning where she had been frozen like that, and it was distracting her momentarily from her burning thirst. "Why?" There wasn't much else to say to her outburst. Why wasn't she like everyone else? What made her off limits to eat? Juliette stood perfectly still where she was, eying the ice queen. Almost too still. She was just eying her, trying to figure out why she couldn't eat her. She had absolutely no interest in touching the girl again if it was going to burn like that, so she kept her distance. On the other hand, the burn was a nice distraction.

Indigo was nearly amused at how the vampire was so confused on what she was. Icy cold temperatures kept rolling off of her in waves as the vampire stood stone still before her. The confusion reminded the Phoenix of a child, making her think this blond woman was a new born or something of that nature. An icy sigh left her lips as she kept her guard up.
"I'm not human that's why. I'm a mutant freak, now calm yourself down. Don't make me turn you into a vampsicle."
It wasn't a hallow threat in the slightest as ice spiderwebed from where her boots touched the ground. The cracking and crystallizing of ice could be heard as indigo moved into a less threatening posture. Maybe the vamp was just scared and hungry? Indigo didn't know enough about them to really try and help. The best she could do was at least keep the blond from eating a human at Random.

Juliette was not finding the situation funny or amusing at all. She didn't get any less confused when she learned there were other things than vampires and witches. She'd been completely in the dark about all these things until she was turned and she was slowly learning while doing her best to get by. Upon hearing the threat, she snarled slightly and took a step back.
"What do you want?" She asked, her focus divided between the superhuman and a passing regular human for a moment before the human was gone. "It burns... please don't stand in my way."Â Her eyes were slowly returning to normal as she had no interest in feeding from the monster anymore. What kind of monster stopped a complete stranger and threatened to freeze them solid?
The vampiress' interest in the woman was fading fast and she swiftly stepped around her and eyed a human hungrily, ready to go at him and bring him to the ground sooner rather than later. It would all depend on how long he could remain standing. She licked her lips and the mere thought of his soft flesh beneath her lips made her shudder with joy.

It seemed that Indigo had hit it right on the head with thinking it was just a hungry newborn. The question even confused her when she had to think about what she had wanted to get out of this mess. It was then that she remembered she had wanted to help the lady, though now the goal was to not let the blond eat a human.
"I want to help you. There's no need to-hey wait!"
the vampire had moved around her so as to go after a human that had walked by. Indigo quickly generated ice from the water in the air and did her best to trap the vampire's feet to the ground, ice having to form around it like blocks to make her stick to the ground. Indigo knew she would more than likely need help with this now but she wanted to help and gosh darn it she would help the vampire while keeping everyone else from being turned into blood bags.

What was going on? She was on her way to pounce on a deliciously warm body and lure the human into an alleyway when she was stopped in her tracks. Her feet just wouldn't move and she didn't understand at first. It wasn't until she looked down and saw that she was frozen to the ground that she turned around to the best of her ability and snarled at the superhuman again.
"Why are you doing this? You're not helping at all." She really was confused as to why this girl would want to help her and why she thought keeping her from feeding was helping, especially since she'd end up endangering the lady of the house later if she was still thirsty. It wasn't like she could go out during the day to hunt.
Deciding to change tactics, Jules stopped trying to get loose and just took a deep breath. It was a habit she hadn't fallen out of just yet and it proved quite well for her sense of smell. "How were you planning on helping? By starving me?" She asked coolly, hugging herself again in her place. With a sudden jerk of her foot, she got one foot free so she could turn more fully towards the monster. "What do you know of being thirsty?" Her eyes narrowed slightly, but at least they were still a green color.

Indigo let out a relieved sigh seeing she had been able to catch the vampire. it was short lived though as the vampire was clearly an unhappy and hungry camper at the moment. The Ice Pheonix placed her hands on her hips for a moment and walked over, keeping her distance some.
"I'm not trying to starve you. The thing is in this town, when humans go missing the council gets angry. You do not want to be on their bad side at all if you want to be able to eat at all."
She moved a little closer, the glare sent her way stinging some but not too much so that she couldn't keep explaining her tactic. "Honestly I know nothing, but i know where to get you food without killing anyone. If you can just calm down i can take you there and everything will be sweet as snow, ya got me?"
Indigo was making plans to take the vampire to the blood bank near the edge of town. She had taken a young vampire there before as they seemed to have some understanding staff there. In her mind she honestly thought all the blood drives were mostly to feed the vamps in town but then again there were always humans that wanted to be used as food. those were the ones that creeped her out and they couldnt really do anything to her.

It proved just how clueless she was when she didn't even know there was a town council. Then again, she wasn't from town, so maybe that was why she didn't know. She hissed slightly though when the girl moved closer. She didn't need her getting any closer right now. No until she had more answers.
If if took going with this strange girl wherever it was she wanted to go to at least stop being so thirsty and be left alone, she would come quietly. Well, almost. "There's nothing sweet about snow," she said quietly, though she smiled slightly at the girl for the first time. "Unless you count?"Who was she kidding, she didn't mind the hunt or the kill, she actually rather enjoyed it, but she wouldn't say no to an easy meal if that was all she was gonna get now. Rather an easy meal than being frozen solid. "I'll come quietly," she said and made an effort to free her other foot as well from the ice. "No one's ever been this kind to me after I tried to bite them," she mused and was ready to go wherever it was they were going. Sure, she'd really have to work on not hurting anyone, but she had an idea for that. Despite her best efforts to stay calm and not drag a passing human around the corner, she really, really wanted to ignore the superhuman and go for the kill. She couldn't have that right now as she didn't want to have to move just yet. "Take my hand? It's easier to keep calm when your burning cold takes focus off of my burning thirst..." If the girl wanted her to come without incident, this really was the best way to make sure she didn't get distracted and ran off, only to be taken by the council. "Juliette," she offered, as she was forced to spend some time with the other girl, she hoped she'd at least have a name to go with the kindness.

Indigo didn't find the vsmpire's humor funny in the slightest at being called sweet. Sure she had kind of been asking for it with the sweeter than snow thing but god did vampires creep her out. She blinked confused at the whole being nice thing but the Phoenix just wouldn't be able to sleep at night if she knew her ignoring the vamp after being attack would mean the death of another random stranger. She gave a smile from her black painted lips before t asking the blond's hand, her icy touch staying firm so as to not let the woman slip away.
"I'm Indigo. Now let's get you something shall we?"
Her smile was bright even after everything as she lead the way to the little town blood bank. It was a weird place that was open at almost all hours of the night and knew, or rather hoped, it would have something to feed to Juliette

She did mean it when she said the girl was sweet. She was being all kind and all after all, despite her best efforts to hurt her. To be perfectly frank, Indigo kinda scared her, because she didn't understand her at all. Her threat hadn't been an empty one with regards to the vampsicle, Jules knew that much.
The cold, firm grip on her hand really was refreshing and she had something to focus on that made things easier. It wasn't like she could complain as she'd asked for it herself. So she walked along, the cold providing enough of a distraction from her thirst to keep her in line for the time being.
"I don't mean to sound ungrateful and all, but how far is this place? I kinda have a curfew." She didn't think they would be out all night, but she wanted to be on the safe side. The last thing she wanted was to be caught too far away from her hiding place to get back. No way was she gonna go looking for a new place just yet, it had been hard enough to find a semi-decent place to begin with. "What's the deal with the council?"

Indigo made to make sure the walk would be a quick one as she created a mildly fast pace. She looked over confused at being asked how far away the blood bank was. Her free hand threaded through her hair in a means of chipping some of the ice in it as she spoke.
"It isn't too far at all. You without one of those sun proof rings i guess?"
She wasn't meaning to pry with the question but most of her focus was in keeping her hand cold and getting to their destination in a reasonable time. She chewwed on her lip for a moment as to think of how to explain the council. She hardly knew anything about them herself but had been told a tiny bit about them from her best friends the twins.
"Well they are kinda the people that keep the order around here. make sure we all dont kill eachother with it being a mix of so many different creatures in this place. The town is supposed to be a safe place of sorts as far as i know."

The fast pace they were walking in suited her well. She didn't want to be stuck with the superhuman all night, even if she was just trying to help. The cold was a nice distraction, but she didn't want to make it a permanent thing. Confusing was obvious on her face when asked if she was without a sun proof ring.
"You mean it would be possible to be outside during the day?" She didn't understand, didn't know any better. How was that possible? More importantly why hadn't anyone told her such things existed? "I don't understand..." Frustration and confusion was clear both on her face and in her voice. Normally she'd just ignore the frustration and go take it out on some stranger, but she couldn't free her hand and she wanted to know more about the prospect of going outside during the day. She'd never thought she'd be able to see the sun again, let alone be outside during the day. "I guess it makes sense to have a safe haven some where, but what about all the delicious humans in town, are they all clueless? Or just mostly clueless? And why won't you just let me have one?" She whined that last bit, but she was so hungry, and they'd just passed another human that would've served perfectly as a three course meal.
