Now it was time to tell the council of the impending danger that was coming their way in about five days. He wasn't sure if the council members would take him seriously....they should if they don't want this city to be destroyed and they should take it seriously so they can be prepared if his pack and allies aren't enough to stop the werewolves that were coming to Bitter Springs.
He had gathered enough information about the pack from Sammy and put together a binder of about ten pages that held important information on the pack members, what they could do, when they will arrive and even some of their battle strategy that they used while in fighting. He had called the meeting and was the first one their, getting things prepared for the other members who hadn't arrived yet.
He wondered how they would take the news, he prayed that they wouldn't laugh at him or even insult him.....he liked Bitter Springs, it had become his home and he didn't want to be the only one trying to protect it. He wasn't asking them to join him on the front, but he would like them to be prepared to fight if his pack and his allies fail to do the job and he wanted to warn them so they could get any loves ones out....and it was best to evacuate the city just in case.
He sat down at his seat, binder of information laid out in-front of him and had made copies and put them out in-front of where the other council members would sit. He took out his cigarettes, trying to calm his nerves and inhaled very deeply. Surely the gifted beings would have sense something sinister that was heading their way, his pack sure did and the very night they sensed this, Sammy had told him. He would leave out the detail of why this pack was coming to Bitter Springs, Sammy was apart of his pack and they couldn't make the brothers leave. Now Beau....they could make him leave because he wasn't under his leadership in the pack, but Sammy they couldn't touch and he would try to make sure that the council didn't come to a agreement to have Beau leave since it wouldn't make much of a difference, the pack would still try to destroy the city and everyone in it because he had helped Sammy and Beau, and they had lived in the city and that was valid enough in the packs eyes to destroy and kill everyone and everything.

outfit~*~ Arya hadn't been out much since the incident with Damien and Marcus. Ever since her maker found out about her affair with Jack she'd been kept under close watch. At least that was what he'd tried to do, but eventually James had tried to reason with her and they'd ended up helping each other. Ever since the beginning, the pair of them had taken turns sitting in the council and doing other things, always leaving a detailed summary for the other. In many ways their marriage had worked out great that way; they completed one another as far as business went and worked really well together, but anywhere else they were a complete disaster. It was her time turn to retake her place in the council, but she insisted her husband come along for this one. It had never been the werewolf representative that called meetings, ever in the history of the town. In fact, they had never had unscheduled meetings unless it was a serious matter so she insisted he come along but stay in the background. Arriving in the all too familiar room, Arya brushed her hair into a loose pony tail and offered Jack a slightly smile before taking her seat. "Jack," she said with a slight humor to her tone. "James come look at this," she said quietly, opening the binder Jack had provided for all the members. Her husband walked up and stood behind her while they quietly read the information about the pack of mutts that was supposed to be arriving. Frowning slightly by the time they'd read through the binder, Arya looked up at James and shook her head ever so slightly. If this was true, it was a meeting he needed to be a part of since the council knew him, so he pulled up a chair next to her. "Didn't know you were council too, Jack. James here will be joining us today since he's been dealing with the council the past few decades." It really was a great arrangement they had made between them. One of them would stay in town and deal with council meetings and take care of their estate in town while the other was free to do as they pleased until it was time to trade places. Of course, they did spend time together every now and then, when the situation called for it. "Last time I came across one of your handy works, my brother was seriously injured, if I find out you're not serious about this new threat I wouldn't hesitate to return the favor," the blonde smiled and decided to wait for the rest of the council to arrive. She didn't really know any of this generation's council members, but that was why James was there. He'd know exactly how to get along with all of them, even that freak of a creature.

Eric had felt there was something heavy in the air for a while now. He wasn't surprised that there was a meeting called, but he was a littler stunned that jack had called it. He walked in wearing faded jeans and an over-sized turtleneck, still shivering from the pain he had. He noticed that the vampires were there and that Jack really did seem stressed over something. He took his seat in his chair, trying to calm down how edgy he was before just asking; "Th-this is about the d-dark energy approaching...I-isn't it?" He looked stressed even talking about it, seeming like a scared puppy. The animals that were part of him however, wanted nothing more than to fight and stand their ground against whatever was that was heading towards town.

Dahlia had a stern look to her face as she marched down the hall and into the main council room. Her hair was pin straight and tied up in a bun while she looked dressed for a Victorian funeral. She didnt know what was going on but she knew that if the werewolf was calling it this wasn't good at all. "I'm going to refrain from my usual insanity today, so let's cut to the chase. What happened that this meeting was.needed?" Dahlia said all of this as she walked to her chair. She sat down calmly as she had her face like stone, her expression being very much like that of her cousin Andre.

Figured the first to arrive was Arya. Things between the two were slightly awkward, but at the moment, none of that matter or what had happened between her brother and her maker. He only nodded his head to her acknowledging his presence, looking at the male vampire that she had brought along with her but didn't think anything of it.
Once the remaining members finally came, he looked to Eric with a small smile. He wasn't going to be rude or act like he was better than the super kid member. He did look back to Arya, hearing her last statement and rolled his eyes. If I wasn't serious then I wouldn't have called this meeting or broke my neck trying to gather information on the threat now would I? He replied.
The witch member was the last to arrived, dressed in her usually crazy attire. Once everyone was seated, he opened the first page and looked over what he had gathered before sighing, taking a deep breath and said. I called this meeting because three days ago......me and my pack started to fill something.....dark in the air and another werewolf had informed me that another pack of werewolves were coming to Bitter Springs.....they won't hesitate to kill men, women and children....they kill and destroy everything in their path and they are coming here and I called this meeting to discuss on what we can do to stop this....me and my pack are going to face them head on once they come and I have called my allies from Romania to help because this threat shouldn't be taken lightly...I have gathered information on the pack and they are not weaklings....they have been around for centuries.....are very cunning and powerful. He began, looking around to each member with a stern look on his face.

Arya couldn't help but smirk slightly as she watched the superkid take his seat, followed by a very strange witch. What had happened to the council over the years? And where the hell was the human representative? Not that this seemed to be any of the humans concerned if what Jack's file contained proved to be true. A human couldn't stand a chance to fight against a killer pack after all, so she let it slide that they were one member short and just studied the other members for a bit.
Upon hearing the seriousness in Jack's voice and noticing how stressed he seemed to be, she was content that he wasn't just pulling their legs on this one. If the pack truly was coming to destroy the town, they wouldn't get away with it so easily. Still, she listened to what Jack had to say and shrugged slightly when he was done. "I don't see much of a choice; anyone capable and willing to fight with your pack Jack, should be given the details of this right away. We don't want to cause an all out panic in the town, that wouldn't help anyone." Turning to Dahlia, the vampiress studied her for a moment before continuing. "Are you familiar with the spell the founding witches placed on this town to protect it from the witch hunts? If these wolves are already on their way it would be too late to hide the entire town from them by now, but if we could hide the people staying behind without fighting somehow that would be of great help."
Arya suddenly realized she'd taken over the meeting that Jack had summoned and leaned back in her chair some to allow the other members to speak their minds. Just because she'd been around longer didn't mean the others couldn't have any good ideas.

Eric couldn't help to seem to grow more nervous about all of this as he listened to what Jack was saying. A whole pack bent on destroying the town over a child? Dahlia didn't seem to believe it at first either, though you really couldn't tell with how her face remained blank like that of most ashwood hunters. Eric was trying to control his little tremors as he was not only looking scared but had a new form of determination in his eyes as he spoke. "I can g-gather a few of the strong s-s-superkids for this. too many of th-them have passive abilities." His voice shook some but he was clearly trying to show he wanted to go through and protect this town, after all it did take him in when he needed it most.
Dahlia was still just watching as a dark and rather angry spark came to her eyes. This was a threat to this safe haven she had moved her brother to. She was going to have none of that so long as she breathed. She was taken from this angry spark though as Arya addressed her. No insane smile split her face as she spoke in an even tone, the venom to fight seeming to already fill her. "I will create an area in town that can hide those that choose to remain behind but unable to fight. I have two apprentices that will be with me at all times for this. I'll be bringing my cousin into this, but don't worry, he will only kill those that arnt of somber. He knows this town well enough to see the difference between those that are native and the enemy." This was a side of dahlia not many ever see, one that was ready to maim anything that would get in the way of her family being safe.

It made Jack happy that the other council members were taking this seriously and even had a desire to protect the town. He was honestly afraid that they would just laugh at him or merely didn't care about the towns well being.
Course Arya started to speak, almost taking over the meeting. Jack didn't speak up though, only watching her for a moment before looking to Eric then Dahlia as they started speaking. This was his meeting, he should be more in charge but didn't want to abuse the power he had...he wanted everyone to speak their mind, come up with plans and form alliances.
So its decided...those that will fight can join up with my pack and the Romanians on the battle field....we decided to cut the pack of wolves off....we have a feeling that they will try to come from the north and the only way in without them being spotted is through the woods so we will cut them off before they can even get within a mile of town....and we will also have smaller teams of werewolves around the perimeter of the town, just to make sure if this pack decides to try a different tactic, they will let us know through telepathy and we can be there within seconds. He said.

Arya was glad Jack let her speak. It didn't matter much if it was his meeting or not, she knew the town better than the other council members, knew its history so it would've been foolish not to listen. Then the creature decided to say he could gather up a few of his kind of freaks, which for once she found she didn't mind at all. Anyone with an active power would be helpful really. Anyone capable would have to fight, if not directly then at the very least be a last line of defense for the towns folk.
When Dahlia said she would create a safe haven for those unable to fight, Arya smiled at the witch. It didn't matter if she was bringing in her hunter cousin or not, they needed all the capable fighters they could get from the sound of it. Especially if a lot of the vampires would only be a second line of defense because they would be too easy to kill by a werewolf. Unless it was possible to synthesize an antidote to the werewolf venom, then they could at least stand a fighting chance.
As Jack spoke again, Arya was listening while having a wordless conversation with James before the other vampire up and left to get started on his work. Turning her full attention back to the council, she noted that though the plan was to cut the wolves off, they would still need someone watching over the people who remained behind. "What about Casey? Is the dragon still part of our defenses?" she asked curiously. This was what she got for being away for years and years. Questions about things she should've known. But James had never really paid much attention to the dragon as the town was seldom under a threat like the current one.
"I'll try to work on the vampires, but honestly we're easy targets against the wolves so I doubt it'll do much good without an antidote."

Eric started to go through his head who all he knew that had rather active abilities more than capable of battle. Dahlia on the other hand was still listening to all that was going on. Eric had only picked his head up at the mention of casey. He had never been fond of the dragon as to what it fed off of but he knew it was needed for them to get along. Dahlia finally let the smile touch her face some at the mention of the dragon, her fingers looking ready to just snap. "He is at my beaconing call whenever we so need him. If my defenses end up failing, he can use that glamour magic of his to block everyone out. It would keep those that remained behind calm and possibly even drain whatever negative emotions from the opponent." She then snapped her fingers, the dragon in question now showing its face before the council. he had a dull look to his face as if it had been sleeping. It yawned as it ignored the glare sent by Eric, the chimera always on edge with the dark energy that came off in waves from the dragon.
"I hoped you called me out of slumber with good reason Dahlia, you know i don't like my naps disturbed." Dahlia gave a dark sounding chuckle before speaking once more, eric biting back a growl at the dragon standing in the room with them. "Jack had found a threat, we will be needing you to keep any of the defenseless that stay in town safe from the threat. Are we clear? Jack can inform you of further information."
The dragon seemed to take interest now, having been left to just rest or walk around town doing nothing for so long. Casey loved war due to how much he could eat during one. This would more than likely be a time that could keep him satisfied for weeks on end. if played out right.

Ah yes that little dragon that Dahlia kept around. He didn't want to use that dragon on the battle field, it would be better to use him as a last defense. He heard Arya address the issue of their being a antidote for the vampires to use in their defense against werewolves....yes....there was that issue. He wondered if any vampires would even try to fight, seeing as the enemy was going to be made mostly of werewolves and their venom was toxic to them.
He then remembered a certain somebody that would be the only one that could come up with something as a antidote for vampires against werewolves. This particular hunter was...different......she was a cross dresser with hot pink hair and had a bad mouth....but the hunter was incredible intelligent and was the only one that could possible make something like this.
In addressing the issue of a antidote...I do know of one person that could come up with someone like that, her name is Jade....shes a hunter....but shes very smart...she even had invented these special bullet that could kill gifted better than regular bullets that other hunters use. He told Arya.
The witch summoned the dragon that they were talking about, the being looked bored out of his mind as if just waking up some a nap. Eric of course was on edge, even his inner wolf growled some at the being but he remained very emotionless and just looked at the bored looking dragon.
The dragon seemed to perk up on hearing about a battle and he just picked up his binder that held all the information the dragon would need and simple tossed the binder to him. That has all the information in it...have any questions then you can ask. He said simply.

It was good to know that the dragon was still a part of their defenses as his skills were highly useful. Especially when dealing with this kind of a threat. There was no one else who'd be able to keep the town people safe the way he could, which was probably why he'd been drafted in the first place. Surely they could find more use of it in the future, so regular people wouldn't have to suffer because it was bored.
As if to prove her point on how the dragon needed to be on more active duty, he appeared looking really bored. She'd never understood the creature, but that didn't mean she couldn't appreciate its talents when they were needed. It was just one of those things she wanted to learn more about, but couldn't really be bothered with as she'd never needed to.
When Jack took her issue with an antidote seriously, Arya smiled at the werewolf, interested in this hunter he was talking about. "If at all possible, I'd like to help her. I know you probably don't like the idea of a vampire sitting on the knowledge on how to make werewolf venom not be lethal, but she might need some help. I can appreciate the fact that if such a thing became common knowledge it would offset the balance completely and be dangerous even, so if there was a way for me to help but forget all knowledge about it afterwards that'd be great."
Arya knew all too well that if vampires learned a way not to be killed by a werewolf bite, they would most likely eradicate most werewolves at once or quickly find a way to turn the antidote into a poison. It would raise the bar on inter-species intolerance to a whole new level and she didn't want that. If anything she was more scientific than that. So she was willing to work under a spell or whatever that would make her forget ever working on it if it would help out. She could even provide them with some test subjects for the antidote once it was made. Heck, if she was confident enough in it's success, she might volunteer herself to prove she wouldn't use it in the future.
"Did you get your daughter out, Jack? And will your magical friends be joining us?"

Casey had taken the book with a grin, not caring how much some of the council did not like having him around. He was thumbing through the pages, his eyes looking to light up and his mouth water as if expecting a grand feast out of the battle. Eric was starting to go through some of the information again himself while Dahlia looked to be thinking things over. Both eric and Dahlia took interest in the mentioning of a hunter that would know of an antidote, dahlia actually speaking up and bringing her brother into the manner. "My brother is a specialist in potions. Could this hunter possibly work with him in making this? though it would be quite valuable for them to have test subjects. Are you sure you would find those willing to test the waters of it Arya?" Dahlia was staring at the vampire now, her expression unchanging. She would of course in the moments that this would need to be done leave andre around so as to keep Vincent safe, but she needed to know if there would be trials made in such short time.
Casey ended up wanting to chime in with something odd as he looked to clear up his drooling. "I could always make a second skin for them you know. With all the glorious rage and fear i'll be feeding on i could make a very strong second skin that would more than likely break those wolves teeth if they even attempted to nip at one of the vamps." This had even interested Eric as dahlia just gave a wide grin on the matter.

It seems mentioning Jade had now brought up alot of interest in the vampire and even with the other council members. He wasn't sure how Jade would like to be working with others, the hunter was very......secluded in who she allowed in her little circle, but he was sure that if he talked with her then he could get her to change her mind and he would give her fresh subjects to experiment on.
I will try and talk with her......she isn't the nicest person in the world and hates everything.....well except me of course but I will talk to her and explain what is going on so I am sure I can get her to change her mind on letting people help. He informed the council.
Casey was now drooling and Jack couldn't help but to make a face at the creature's excitement. He looked to Amanda, hearing her question on his personal matters and frowned. Yes I got her out....and I don't know if they will or not...not my problem right now. He said.

It seemed the dragon was really interested in this fight as it would be fun. Though she listened to Dahlia when she was talking about her brother and test subjects. "Dahlia dearest, there are always ways to find volunteers. There's a growing population of newborns without control that no one would miss if it doesn't work," she said with a slight chuckle. If nothing else worked, they would do their part to take care of the newborn infestation that seemed to have hit town.
It didn't matter if the hunter wouldn't want help, she'd still need test subjects as everyone needed to know it would work before taking a risk. There really was no other way to go about the antidote. Until she heard the dragon speak up about making a second skin for them. "You know Casey, that would be very helpful," she smiled at the dragon, wanting nothing more than to fix their problem so the vamps could help out as well. With a second skin like that, the knowledge of an antidote couldn't fall into the wrong hands and they wouldn't be able to abuse the knowledge later.
When Jack said he'd gotten his daughter out in time, Arya smiled at the werewolf. "Well at least she's safe. I'm sure your friends will make up their own mind on the matter." Folding her hands, the vampiress had nothing more to contribute with as far as the meeting went so she leaned back a bit and decided to just listen to whatever the others had to say.
