Eric had been rather apprehensive about making his trip to the little shop. He had woken rathe early from his pains as is, having learned he needed to stay on the pain killers at all times or he just seemed like a total train wreck when he left home. He dressed warmly before walking into the shop, the time being about 10 am give or take a minute. He looked around for a moment, his body in its natural trembles as it looked like a normal craft store for the most part. He only really knew he had to look for a woman named Amanda, blue-grey eyes looking to the counter area so as to see if anyone was there.
"H-H-Hello..?"
He just sounded shy as he kept looking. He was really hoping the witch would really be able to help him out with his problems. If he couldn't be turned back into a human maybe they could come up with something that would make living less painful and awkward for him.outfit

outfit~*~ She'd been in early that morning to take care of some magical stuff before Maxxie arrived, so she'd decided to just open early as well since she was already there. She didn't really expect anyone to come in, so she was in the back doing the books, and like always when she wasn't in the front room, she'd used magic to create an alarm system that told her when there was someone there. Right now, her skin uncomfortably cold as she learned she had company. Putting away what she was doing, she heard a frightened voice call out if there was anyone there. "Come on back," she called back, pulling out a blank paper and a pen with a beautiful deep purple ink. The witch was sitting behind her ornate desk, with very little personal artifacts on it. She had a few books stacked to one side with no titles on the spine and a case of pens, that was about it. She liked to keep her desk clean and tidy and put away anything she wasn't using once she was done with it. "What can I help you with?" she asked curiously when she saw the boy, he wasn't much younger than herself, what could she possibly do for him?

Eric gave a tiny jump as he heard a voice call out to him. He made his way to the source, his hearing focusing in on the female and letting him come to a stop before her desk. H saw the unmarked books and ink but what mostly alerted him was how he picked up on her being a witch, her energy level feeling stranger compared to many he'd ran into. He had his hands in his pockets and his eyes to the ground for a moment, lithe form trembling lightly.
"Um...I-I'm looking for A-Amanda...um, Jack said t-to find her...."
One could see that socializing was clearly a weak point for the chimera as he kept the duel tone out of his voice.

What on earth was Jack doing, sending creatures like this one her way? Did he think she'd help just because it was the right thing to do and this was his subtle way of telling her? Shrugging slightly, she offered a slight smile that didn't quite reach her eyes. "Well, you've come to the right place I suppose. I'm Amanda, what can I help you with?"
Her mind was filled with questions about why this guy was standing in her office, looking almost frightened. "Oh, but where are my manners," she chuckled and focused on a chair she had standing in the corner, making it move and come to a halt right behind the guy. "Please, sit down." She said as she gestured to the chair.
Folding her hands in her lap, Amanda decided to refrain form using any more magic at the moment until she knew what he was doing in her shop. She didn't even know if she could help him, but she'd try to at least hear him out.

Eric looked up when he was talked to but he looked to pull back a tiny bit with how her eyes seemed to be giving off a different feeling compared to her smile. His expression became rather confused at her saying something about manners when a chair moved just behind him. He gave a visible jolt, clearly not having expected such to happen before sitting down as calmly as the timid chimera could. He ran a hand nervously through his hair as he had to think of how to word exactly what he needed.
"Well um...I-I'm a chimera and was w-wondering if someone could re-reverse it....or make it h-h-hurt less..."
His hand were seeming to twist in each other's hold as they rested in his lap. Eric's brain was already going through with processes of how this witch would kick him out or start to swear heavily at him then try killing him or something of that nature. He just wanted to be fixed, nothing more, nothing less.

A chimera? Jack was sending her man-made creatures? What on earth was that wolf thinking, if he was in fact thinking at all. She had nothing personal against alchemists really, it was just that they were meddling with things they really had no business meddling with. Sighing softly, she knew this was a challenge she couldn't decline, simply because it was actually a challenge.
"I don't know what Jack told you, I deal mostly with vampires and the occasional werewolf." She wasn't sure she even had any books on the kind of magic that would be needed to separate the animals from the human, or if it was even possible. Standing up, she eyed the chimera for a moment before grabbing a ring from her shelf and walking over to stand behind the boy.
"I'm not going to hurt you, just.. sit still, please?"Â Her earlier hostility was replaced by an earnest curiosity. Placing a hand of each of his shoulders, she would do the only thing she knew how to get what she needed; use magic to get more information.
When she stepped back again she couldn't help but chuckle slightly. "Darwin would really have a field day with you. I can't reverse your condition, I'm not a miracle worker. Best I can do is maybe bewitch an object or two to keep the various animals at bay." The last thing she wanted was to get on someone's bad side for trying to help and ending up killing the guy instead. That would serve no one any good.

Eric looked to grow even more timid as the tiny hope in him deflated at her saying what she mostly worked with. If he could just have the pain go away he could cope with what he was. It was the biggest distraction and hinderence for him, distracting him from a real focus and ability to keep the animals he had in him at bay. He looked scared when Amanda rose, almost expecting to be struck with something but was surprised with her touching his entirely too tense shoulders and use magic as I'd to study him. The feel of it gracing his system made his skin crawl and the beasts inside to freak out at the bizarre feeling. Eric fought the urge to just up and hide from Amanda as his body was really trembling now. He was still looking to tremble as the witch spoke, blue-grey eyes looking back at her scared.
"The a-animals I can deal w-with....it's the pain that m-makes this a struggle...I-I'm currently t-trying human pain killers....n-not the best but sort of h-h-help...."
He looked to hug himself in the chair, the chimera clearly uncomfortable in the witch's presence.

If she hadn't been so focused on what she was doing as to not hurt the chimera, she would've found his reaction to her touch and the magic quite amusing. She couldn't restore in others what she was losing herself, and since she was slowly losing her humanity, she couldn't help with that. Pain on the other hand was an entirely different thing as she'd earned a deeper understanding of the word.
"Don't be so scared, I'm not gonna hurt you," she said quietly as she started looking around at the shelves for stuff that could help with pain. She wasn't entirely sure if she had anything that could help, but it was worth a shot. "Human medicine never works wonders on the supernatural I'm afraid." She'd stopped paying attention to the labels on the jars until she found the thing she was looking for.
"I'm not much of a healer, but maybe these will help," she placed the jar filled with various dried herbs and spices on the desk. "I won't guarantee it will be pleasant to drink, but make tea out of it and drink it twice a day, hopefully it'll help. If not, then I'm afraid magic really is your only option."
Sitting down behind her desk again, Amanda wrote down what she'd learned from the chimera in a her neat handwriting before adding what she'd suggested he try. If all else failed, she'd try some heavy magic as it was a challenge she would gladly accept. "I never say no to a challenge like this," she smiled, and this time it reached her eyes as well. She truly was excited about the challenge presented.

eric still seemed to have issues calming down again even after Amanda had stopped touching him. His gaze turned curious as he watched Amanda start to look for something that could possibly help him. He hasn't been in an actual shop before for such things. He would usually just track down the smell and energy of magic to find one and politely try to see if they would help. His eyes were trained on the jar, the light in them seeming child-like for a moment S he couldn't tell what all was inside of it. He listened to what she had said and had a near confused look to his features.
"O-okay....you're the first t-to try and help m-m-me...thank you."
He still sounded meek as he spoke. He seemed rather afraid as she said she liked a challenge. Eric didn't like to cause any trouble or struggle for the safety of his own mind.

It was absolutely fascinating how the creature could be that terrified of her. Especially considering the fact that she hadn't done anything to deserve it. Why, she hadn't been mean, rude or forceful yet. Actually, she'd been quite nice all things considered, and that wasn't very usual of her when not dealing with real customers.
"Like I said, I love challenges and learning new things. And if it doesn't work out, then I'll know to stay away from alchemists in the future." She still had no idea how to deal with the fact that he was a product of some insane man's weird fantasies. Who wanted to create a chimera? Just to satisfy their own curiosity?

Eric knew at this point the witch wasn't trying to hurt him but he was just always feeling so much on edge. It was just his natural response to be afraid, the trauma he suffered during his turning and training still Clearly ingrained into his mind after being free for nearly 9 years. They were memories he didn't want to dwell so distracted himself by taking a closer look st the jar and its contents. He looked to grow slightly grim near the end of her words but paid no mind for the most part as he talked.
"W-well normally witches don't l-like chimeras...I'm m-made from alchemy so witches g-get mad....try to kill me s-sometimes too."
Eric was hoping Amanda wasn't expecting to meet alchemist anytime soon, he just found them the most foulest of creatures for twisted innocent people into these monster yet have no means of reversing it. He kept looking at the content of the jar, taking the lid off to investigate further only to make a face at the odor of it. It wasn't the best smell but it wasn't the most horrendous either.

A chuckle escaped at his statement, however stammering it was made. "Come now, deary, you can't expect everyone to be the same. Magic always comes at a price, something we natural magical beings understand and humans don't. When they meddle with alchemy, they don't think of the consequences, which is why most witches despise them. I, on the other hand couldn't care less about the consequences so in a way, who am I to judge an alchemist?"
Frowning slightly at the face he was making at the odor of the content, she decided to just ignore the chimera and get back to work. Using her air magic, she made one of her spell books fly out of its shelf and land neatly on her desk. Yes, she was certainly getting the hang of things now. Flipping through the pages, she found what she was looking. "If the herbs don't work, there's a suppression spell here that might offer you some relief until you can find someone able to truly help you. It would suppress the chimera part of you for a while, though once the spell wears off, you'd be out of control for a few days..."
She had reason to believe a spell able to suppress all werewolf traits in a person should be able to help the Chimera for a little while, but it was no cure and it would make matters worse after it wore off. "It might give you anything from two weeks to two months of relief, I won't promise anything."

Eric blinked confused at the witch and her words. It was always just a natural state for him to be timid and afraid of people, and sure not everyone was out to destroy him that was a witch, but he had too many times of being injured by them for being something he didn't choose to be. He gave a jump in his seat as a book flew off the shelf and on to the desk. He had never seem magic used for such a simple task at all as he just stared at the book for a moment before Amanda started to talk.
"I d-don't want to resort to something th-that could make me hurt people..."
That was the one thing Eric couldn't stand to place others in. Sure he was miserable with his constant pain and need to watch over his shoulder for those that made him or ordered for his creation, but he could never wish others to suffer like he had for so many years. If he lost control now after so long, everything Roger had taught him since finding him would completely unravel.

So the chimera just wanted something for the pain, nothing else? She didn't really know what else to give him but the tea. Oh and the ring she was still holding in her hand. That was one she wasn't quite sure herself what would do as she'd run the magic that was leaving the chimera's system through the ring to make a charmed object like that.
"Nothing that will cause people harm then, but this is for you as well," she said and placed the ring on the table. "I can't really tell you what it does as I don't really know, but I made it earlier when I was studying you. It's of no use to me now, so do what you want with it."
It hadn't been one of her more priced possessions, rather just a ring ready to be use for whatever purposes she needed it for, so why not see if it would do the chimera any good. "If you do decide to try the ring, of if the tea doesn't work well enough, let me know?" Folding her hands in front of her on her desk, Amanda tilted her head slightly to one side and studied the timid creature in her office space.

Eric stared on for a moment as if sinking into his thoughts when Amanda brought the ring in her hands up. He stared at it with confusion written all over his face as even the witch didn't know what all it would be able to do. very hesitantly he moved to pick up the ring. He wasn't even touching it and he could feel the hum of the magic within it. Blue-grey eyes looked afraid of it as he carefully rolled it around in his hand, the feel of magic all over it making him tremble slightly more. He put it back onto the desk before looking back to Amanda.
"I-I will...um...do i owe a-anything for all this...?"
He made a small gesture to the ring and jar of herbs so as to get his point across. He had saved up plenty of funds for this sort of thing alone, knowing that some things like magic could be very pricy.
