Amanda chuckled slightly at his question of payment and reaction to the ring and it all. "Oh sweety, if it doesn't work, I wasn't helpful, now was I?" She should probably get paid for the stuff, but she wouldn't feel comfortable getting paid unless it didn't work. Besides, she'd just bill Jack in babyfree hours instead.
"You can come back and pay if it works, if not it was worth a shot and I'm one experience richer," she brushed at a stray hair and continued to study the chimera.
{OOC: again, sorry}

Eric almost had an embarassed expression on his face as Amanda spoke. He never did well with the sound of laughter, it always gave him a tiny bit more fear and he just couldn't understand why. Trying to get up as calmly as he could,he collected both the jar and ring into his possession.
"O-okay....thank you a-again....I should really get g-going...."
He gave the tiniest little bow of sorts, roger having taught him how to how respect in ways the chimera could, before making his way out of the shop. Both items were able to fit safely into his coat pockets, leaving none to know what he had in his possession and he preferred it that way.

Amanda really didn't understand what about the situation was making the chimera so nervous. She hadn't hurt him, she'd given him stuff and she'd been relatively kind since he'd shown up in her shop after all. "And if you don't come back and pay, I can always just make Jack babysit a few extra nights," she said with a playful wink. After all, she could always use him taking the baby for a night or two so she could go out.
Deciding to get back to work, she offered her customer one last smile and nodded to his statement. "Don't let me stop you." She'd never stop anyone from leaving, and he seemed like he couldn't get out of there fast enough, so she couldn't help her statement really. She'd never said she was a healer, and she'd never pretended to be anything she wasn't, so at least she'd done a good job as far as that went.
The witch needed to tell Jack warn her the next time he sent in a stray; she wasn't a healer after all. More often than not, she destroyed things.
