Dahlia was trying to concentrate as much as possible on her magic, trying not to sense Jack's doubt as she pushed further. Her words remained soft for the most part, only stopping for a moment as this step was done. Everything was still and silent for a moment, dahlia taking in a deep breath before the air seemed to change. She nearly dug her nails into hunter's chest over the markings as her eyes opened. Words were leaving her lips in near tongues as she was loud and firm with each one. This spell now bursted with magic, building the heart back into a healthy state down to the very last cell.

Jack watched with curiosity, if this didn't work then Hunter was as good as dead. He stayed quiet, gulping and felt a bead of sweat rolled down his cheek. Magic filled the room, feeling like it was about to burst as she carried on with her spell. The heart was slowly coming back to normal and in a instant, he thought he ears a very soft heartbeat. Hunters eyes still weren't open, but he thought he heard it again.

He was stunned that this seemed to actually be working and it wasnt until Hunters eyes flew open did Jack actually jump but continued to hold onto the wolves arms to hold him down. Hunter laid still, but his eyes shifted over and appeared confused.

She could feel the faint beating of Hunter's heart just beneath her hand, making her push more in healing the organ. Her words were starting to get louder when she noticed Hunter's eyes fly open. Her nails dug in a little more while her other arm came up to help hold him down. She was really starting to force her magic to cure and twist the tissues back into their original healthy form, this being one of the more difficult and painful parts of the spell.

Hunter didnt say anything, only looking around with a confused expression and it wasnt until Dahlia started to mend the tissue did he start to scream and tried to move and Jack had to hold him down. It was the most intense pain he had ever felt before and cried out, gripping onto Jacks arms and felt tears run down his face at the pain. Hunter had a strong pain tolerance, but this wasnt anything like he felt before.

"Stop!!!" He shouted and tried to push them away once more.

Dahlia wasn't stunned by the screams , the sound only urging more magic into the healing organ to try and speed the process up some. Hunter's cries to stop fell on deaf ears as all her focus was on her magic. She didn't so much as flinch when the boy tried to push her away, holding her ground as she was near half way with healing.

Jack pinned Hunters wrist down on the bed, ignoring the betas screams and pleas to quit. If this would bring the wolf back to life then he would just have to suck it up and go through this pain.

Hunter hoped this would be over soon and he struggled of course.

Dahlia was ignoring every cry and spasm that hunter made as she pushed more magic. She wanted to pick the pace up, not caring that her own life energy started to be sapped. She and her nails drawing blood at this point as she was screaming her words along side Hunter's cries. She could feel that he was nearly healed, the last push of magic completely starting the heart to beat at a normal pace. When it started to go past that point, she lowered the volume of her words until they were but a whisper, the heart entirely healed of any poison. She lifted her hand from the spell mark as she tried not to fall to the ground out of exhaustion.
"He'll still...still hurt for a bit and be tired, but he's alive."
Dahlia looked a mess, limbs shaking some as she did her best to get Hunter to be still now.

Hunter bared his teeth at both of them for a moment and it was hard to hold the boy down. Hunter may not look it, but he was incredibly strong for a young wolf.

Finally once it was over, the others heart returned to normal but Hunter still was in alot of pain and clearly confused. He pushed Jack and Dahlia away from him and jumped from the bed, knocking over a night stand table and was back into a corner, baring his fangs at them and glared angrily at them. Jack didnt understand why Hunter was acting this way.

"What the hell happened to me??!!" He demanded, clutching at his chest and wheezed.

Dahlia grunted when she was finally pushed away, stumbling for a moment as she tried to pull herself together. She stood as best as ache could, having mostly recovered from the spell and gave a concerned look at hunter. He had cornered himself while clutching at his chest, clearly angry and scared with the pain he was in.
"It's alright, you had died from sliver poisoning. I've brought you back though, its going to be alright child."
She was taking small steps closer to him, having grabbed a blanket to over the boy with. She knew he hurt still but he needed to take it easy while his heart adjusted to functioning again.

Hunter thought he had died and now he was back alive and in alot of pain. He glared at both of them and tensed for moment before a blanket was drapped on him. He relaxed now but was still in pain and curled up with the blanket before struggling to stand up. He collapsed on the bed, breathing softly but winched everytime he breathed.

"I only remembered being hit by a gun...." He said

Dahlia tried to smile, as If that would help the boy gain some form of ease. She didn't like seeing the beta in pain but at the same time pain meant he was alive and right now that's all that mattered.
"you were shot...it had silver nitrate in the bullet, infecting your blood and your heart. "
She followed him and watched him collapse on the bed as she kneeled at the side of the bed to talk with him.
"your blood was able to be cleaned with an antidote but your heart...it was too infected to recover from something that complex. I was able to cure it though. You'll be in pain for a while but its just so you can adjust to your new heart."

He nodded and just tried to relax now. He was in alot of pain at the moment and wished that it would go away."Did you tell Vincent?" He asked and hoped that they didnt.

He courtly only imagined what Vincent would do if they told him that he died.

Dahlia sighed at this, knowing this wasn't going to end too well. She had a sad look on her face, clearly wishing they had held back with telling Vincent.
"he got downstairs when jack arrived to tell me...he knows and for now, it'll stay that way until you've completely recovered. He has his own pains right now..."

Hunter wasn't happy that they had told Vincent that he died. Now he was worried and was trying to get up, but Jack had pushed him down and convinced him that it wasn't time right now to be going off to see Vincent.

Jack looked to Dahlia."Are you sure its a good idea to just keep Vincent out of the dark like this?" He asked.

dahlia watched Hunter try to get up, and was rather thankful Jack was trying to keep him in bed while Dahlia backed away from the bed side some. She was standing now, pushing some of her loose hair away from her face as she listened to Jack.
"Honestly I don't know. he keeps getting his heart crushed by something happening to one of them...and He's set up for an operation this coming week. He's...I just don't know really."
Dahlia was clearly needing to clear her mind some as she had used far too much magic for the day. She did however remember she was going to need to get some pain killers for Hunter as some point, at least until he was adjusted to life again. She knew it would take a month if it had been Vincent, but for a werewolf she was unsure of the healing time now, it could be accelerated or slower, she just didn't know.
