Hunter had fallen asleep, not even being able to try and convince Dahlia to tell Vincent that he was alive. Jack sigh, sitting down by the bed and ran a hand through his hair, looking up to Dahlia as she said she wasn't sure if Dahlia was going to tel Vincent or not.

He sigh softly and got up to get something to sleep. Is there any kind of medicine that I need to give him? He asked.

Dahlia watched the struggling kid just fall asleep, still rather wounded about the ordeal. She just sighed and pushed her curls from her face again before looking back at Jack.
"Yes...it's back at the shop though, I'll have one of my assistants deliver it to you. For now...I have to go see Vincent. Call me if you ever need my help with him until he's healed."
She was trying to straighten herself out, knowing this was going to be difficult to keep and deal with Vincent not knowing. Out of stress though she started to talk to herself, outloud and sounding like the crazy witch everyone knew more so than the serious side that had been around these days.
"Oh Dahlia can you really keep this from Vivi? Would it even be worth the stress? Just what am i expecting to happen by not letting the boy know? Less fighting with getting out of the hospital, maybe working with his physical therapists better once the surgery is done? Oh he won't even want to move without Hunter around! Think Dahlia think!"
She was getting frustrated clearly, not even realizing she was pacing the floor.

Hunter was dead asleep. He probably slept for hours on end. Jack stayed by his side the entire time, making sure the other got enough food and water. He called Dahlia, telling her of his progress.

Hunter finally woke up, he still hurt but he could bare with it for now. He sigh softly and ran a hand through his hair. He wanted to see Vincent and didnt know what the witch would do. Vincent had been through so much and he could only tell what exactly he felt or did when they told him he had died.

He got out of bed now, struggling some but walked into the kitchen and made himself something to eat. "Vincent I miss you...." He thought.

Dahlia was sending over her assistants with a painkiller as she was given update calls on Hunter's progress. she hoped the medicine would help him some, at least while she delt with Vincent for a while. She was a mess of her own now, trying to remain calm with everything before finally having Vincent ready for his hospital trip and stay. She couldn't stand to see the boy so....dead, but she'd dug her guilt into place for now.
She didn't leave for any reason until she knew Vincent's operation had gone over well, the boy's legs wrapped up for now after all the nerve endings were properly fixed unlike before. She knew with her assistants staying at the hospital Vincent would be safe, giving her the incentive to go and visit her own "Patient" of sorts back where Jack was keeping the beta. She made her way inside with more painkillers and some news on Vincent that hunter would more than likely want to hear. she walked around slow and cautious before spotting Hunter. She looked worn out and tired but she put a small smile on her face for the beta.
"Feeling any better?"
She oddly enough felt unwelcome, knowing the boy was more worried over her brother than his own health.

Jack was sitting in the living room, he was drawing in a notebook for a customer of his that was paying big money. He kept a close eyes on Hunter who was walking around just fun now and even gotten his appetite back, but was in alot of pain.

He looked up once Dahlia came back and noticed how worn out she looked. Hunter looked up to the red headed witch and sigh. "Somewhat......are you okay you look like your about to fall over?" He said.

Dahlia was glad to see that the boy was moving around again, though she was hoping he wouldn't pick up on her tilted appearance. She walked over to the table and say down, messing with a falling curl. She had set the container of medicine on the table before speaking.
"Vincent had surgery today. I've also been worried over the both of you. Vincent just hasn't been the same...but now hopefully if this plays out right he'll walk again."

Jack said nothing, he turned his attention to the drawing he was working on. Hunter nodded at what Dahlia said about Vincents surgery."I hope it went well....." He said softly.

He looked at her and rubbed his eyes. "When is this pain going to end?" He asked.

Dahlia smiled at this only to speak softer.
"I hope so too. Maybe when he's recovered you'll be well enough as well and maybe help with therapy."
Her tired and happy expression faded a little though at the comment on his pain. She got up and went to find a cup to serve a little of the medicine to hunter to help.
"I did a little research on werewolf recovery rates so if this goes well and you don't strain too much another week or so should be all. Just keep taking this and it'll help."

He wanted to see Vincent so bad right now. If Jack hadnt been watching him like a hawk he would have already made a dash to Vincent. He had to obey anything that Jack said, he was the alpha.

"I want to see him so bad....." He said softly and sigh.

He watched as she made some medicine for him. He took the cup, looking at the contents. He didn't know how this was going to taste.....every time Vincent took medicine that Dahlia prepared, he always made a face at the taste.

"We'll thats good....." He said and took a huge gulp, drowning the whole thing in one setting.

dahlia frowned at hearing such words. SHe wasn't one to like seeing them like this, and now it was just more stress on her in some sense. She placed a gentle hand on Hunter's shoulder then, not sure what else to do to comfort him as she spoke.
"You'll get to see him soon enough. You need to get better first before he sees you."
She watched him gulp down the medicine, smiling again. He didn't seem to make as much fuss as her brother, this making her smile somewhat bittersweet. SHe moved back to sitting in a chair, still looking tired and older in years than she was. She looked over to jack then, asking her own questions on how Hunter had been doing.
"He needs to take a half cup of that medicine twice a day. He hasn't been too much a handful has he?"
She was sounding more and more like a mother as she was clearly over exerting herself over both of these boys.

"I know....." He said and sigh. He wished that Vincent knew he was alive and would try, even in the state he was in would try to see him.

He looked at Jack who looked up from his notebook at what she said."Hunter knows better than to give me trouble he said and smiled. He pushed the black rimmed glasses up on his head

Dahlia felt her heart break some at seeing the beta like this.
"You should go rest Hunter, your heart needs to adjust still."
She looked back to Jack as he spoke, glad to see a smile around for once. It was good to hear there was no real fuss going on, but at the same time she had her plate rather full for the time being with these boys.
"Well that's good to hear. Vincent hasn't been fighting me either, but then again he hasn't really been himself...It breaks my heart to see both the boys like this, but vincent...there are moments I think he's screaming at me or the world around him inside his head...but its only his eyes that express much anymore, its like he's gone catatonic..."
Her face grew somber then, propping her head up with a hand on the table as worry was written all over her face.

Hunter only nodded and went to the bedroom to rest. Jack watched Dahlia for a moment, hearing on how Vincent was and put down the notebook. He went and got himself something to drink.

"Want anything?" He asked her.

He sigh softly."Once Vincent gets better......you should tell him about Hunter........." He said.

Dahlia watched hunter nod at what she was saying. She watched him walk away before her body finally gave away just how tired she was from slumping shoulders to half lidded eyes. She looked over at jack with a weak smile.
"I'm fine for now, just need my own rest."
she was still holding her head up some, trying not to just pass out then and there at the table. she looked further drained though when Jack spoke on explaining hunter to Vincent. She pushed curls from her face with her free hand then, looking well beyond her years at the moment.
"I will, at least once he's reached the point to start going into physical therapy again. though I doubt he'd want to move...I feel like ive created such a mess out of this....I just wanted to shield him like mother would have. I'm starting to think i was never really meant to be a parent, or raise children these days..."

He looked at her and wondered if he should have her lay down on the couch. She looked like she was getting ready to pass out any moment now.

He sigh at her words."No one is really ready to he a parent or take on the responsibility of raising kids......but we do what we have to and make the most out of it and this isn't your fault......." He said. In his mind, this was his fault, if he had protected Hunter the way a alpha should have then none of this heart ache would have happened.
