He looked to Kailah."I was waiting to see if my boss would call concerning that appointment I have tomorrow at 12." He said and put his phone away to turn the car on. Aaron went to his own car, waving at them before driving away. He drove back to their house."Your welcomed." He said.
He pulled into the driveway and looked at her once he turned the car off."Why Aaron?" He asked her now and looked at her.

It made sense that her dad would be so eagerly waiting for his boss to call. He was fairly busy with everything really, she knew that and she didn't question it further. "Teach me some wolf stuff tonight?" she knew that he was worried about Aaron and she knew learning how to be a good werewolf was important to her father and it would make her life easier anyway.
When her dad asked her why Aaron, Kailah chuckled slightly. "I knew you wouldn't approve and he's a great guy," she grinned at him. Yeah OK, so she'd known her dad wouldn't approve, but she'd also really thought Aaron was a good guy. "I really didn't know he was in your pack dad, and he's really cute," she was happy though, she really was.
"I really like him dad."

He shook his head at her reply."I swear your to much like your mother at times." He said and looked at her when she finished what she was saying. He knew that he should be happy for his daughter for being happy, he just knew how guys think and was paranoid about his daughter safety and her feelings.
"Well as long as your happy." He said and smiled some at her.
He got out."What more do you want to learn about being a wolf?" He asked curiously. But just because she was happy with Aaron didnt mean that he couldn't make pack life just a tab but harder for Aaron.

Kailah took his remark as a compliment. She knew her mother had a history of winding her dad up for amusement, but she wasn't aiming to hurt her dad for fun. "It must be a redhead thing, or maybe it's a witch thing." She shrugged slightly though and smiled at him. She knew they both just wanted her to be happy.
Getting out of the car, she turned to her dad at the question. "Well, since you and mom are so worried, I was thinking maybe you could teach me how to defend myself, without magic. So you'll both be feeling a little safer." If both her parents could relax and feel safer, they might make it easier for her to go out.
"I don't want you to worry," she said as she hugged her dad.

"Probably a witch thing......every witch I know seems to wind me up some way or another." He commented and shook his head. He got out of the car an looked to Kailah at her suggestion. "We'll if you want." He said and shrugged. He smiled an hugged his daughter back. He loved his daughter dearly, the thought of her being her honestly scared him. He looked at her with a small smile.
"We'll if you want to get start on your training, then lets head out back." He said and smiled.

Kailah couldn't help but giggle at the witch thing. She knew she had a lot of her mother in her as far as the magic went. Though she was strongest with air-related magic, she was more or less impervious to fire. The young werewitch didn't know if it was natural or a product of her magic having been kept and used by her mother for a while to help with her own fire-alignment.
She happily followed her father out back. It wasn't that she really needed to learn how to fight, she could always defend herself with magic, but she knew it would ease the worries of both her parents if she learned other ways to keep herself safe. When she was with werewolves or around people from Jack's pack, she'd found a way to disguise herself as one of them so they wouldn't pick up that she was also a witch and while with witches she'd done the opposite. Around anyone else than Jack, Amanda and Hunter, she needed to be one or the other as she would be in danger if people learned she was both witch and wolf.
"Can I run with you the next full moon? I don't want to be stuck with mom and learning witch stuff when all my instincts tell me is to be outside and run..." She'd really only shifted a couple of times, and though it was excruciating she had figured it must be easier to just do what she needed to do than to feel trapped inside all night. It didn't really matter if her father didn't like her being around the pack, it would probably make her life a lot easier if she could just learn to interact with them all.

They heade out back and Jack looked around the backyard for anymore before looking to Kailah when she asked if she could run with him during the full moon. He only nodded, not really liking her around his pack but figured she needed to learn how to associate with a pack. "Ready?" He asked and smiled, he took a head start and ran into the woods before shifting to his black wolf form and took off. He knew Kailah was behind him and get ran till they came to their usually meeting place where his pack met. It was at a small clearing in the woods and finally stopped, looking at his daughter for a moment.
"So what exactly do you want to learn?" He asked telepathically.

Kailah knew her dad didn't like the idea of her running with the pack, but she was a wolf after all. Or at least half a wolf, and they were pack animals. She'd be safer in a pack than she would be on her own, and she'd get to see Aaron more, even if she wouldn't want to shift back around the others as she was too shy for that. So she waited for her dad to get a head start before she followed him into the woods and shifted into a coppery wolf. She was still relatively small for a wolf, despite her heritage, but that was probably due to the fact that she wasn't fully grown yet.
When she arrived at the clearing in the woods, she nuzzled her dad in the side lovingly and tilted her head when she heard his question. She still wasn't used to the telepathic way of communicating, but at least it didn't freak her out anymore like it had that first time. "Anything useful," she replied in the same manner, highly amused.
Her senses were stronger than those of a normal human before she shifted, but once in her wolf form they still distracted her. Mostly she just wanted to run and play around, regardless of how childish it was, because of the freedom she felt when she was out running like this. "How about tracking?" She finally asked, making a serious suggestion.

He smiled at the nuzzling and rubbed his head against hers in a loving manner before looking around once more. He cocked his head to the side at er reply and knew that he pretty much taught her everything that their was to know about being a werewolf. She didnt seem to have any special powers like telepathy, so the only thing he could think of to teach her would be fighting or maybe tracking. He had never really used tracking for anything, he always let his senses lead to him to anybody that he was trying to find.
"Tracking?" He said and sat down for a moment, scratching the back of his ears.
"Mmm well I normally don't use tracking I always use my senses to find someone.....unlike Hunters who have search for signs of something being there we can just smell or hear out way." He added.

Kailah chuckled slightly at how comfortable Jack was in his wolf form. If she hadn't known better, she probably would've thoguht he was a regular wolf if she came across him in the woods. "I can't trust my senses to find people. There are just too many scents it's all jumbled.." she admitted. Sure, she'd probably get the hang of it sooner or later, but right now it might be useful to learn other ways to find people until she learned to separate the scents and just follow one.
"Another witch thing?" she asked curiously. She'd never gotten the impression that the wolves in her dad's pack ever had any trouble separating scents to hunt down the right one, and she might have had more control on it if she'd grown up just learning wolf stuff and not magic stuff at the same time.
"Hey Dad? Did you think Mom would really let go of the magic she borrowed?" She was curious though, she'd never really asked her parents how it had all worked out in the end, but she'd always wondered about that. At least they were getting along better now than she could remember them doing when she was still little. (Sorry it's not great =/)

Jack had figured he had taught Kailah everything she needed to know in order to become a proper werewolf who had control over their instincts. Kailah already had great control over herself, much better than young werewolves that he had come across and out it down to her also being half witch. He knew that she had a long way to go before she could really master her witch abilities.
He cocked an eyebrow at her last question. I wasn't sure in all honesty, it seemed after I threatened to take you away is when she realized what she was doing was wrong. He said.

Kailah knew she had great control over her temper when it came to being a wolf. She'd come across others her age in school that couldn't participate in sports because they got aggressive and lost control. If everyone had a strict alpha for a dad, they wouldn't need special treatment in school as they'd have everything sorted out. She loved her dad though, he was just as strict as needed to teach her the control she needed, and he was doing what he could to keep her safe, regardless of what everyone was telling him. Her magic on the other hand was tougher to control since she hadn't really had it for that long yet.
Learning to control her wolf side had been easy since she'd been taught from a young age how to put her inherent temper to good use rather than lash out at others. It was good that her mother had finally come around with the magic bit though, it frightened her to think how she would have been if she'd still had Kailah's magic on top of the way her powers seemed to have evolved naturally.
"I'm glad she did, I don't think I would've liked it much if I'd had to grow up without her, no offense. Sometimes a girl just needs her mom to talk to, you know..." If she'd grown up with just Jack and Mason, it certainly would've made it a whole lot more awkward than it already was when she got her period for the first time.
They worked on tracking a deer for a while before Kailah was getting tired. It had been a long day after all and she still had some homework to finish up.

He was glad that Amanda had gotten control over herself before Kailah got old enough to take noticed. She knew that her parents had their problems growing up, he hoped that Kailah didn't have to many bad memories. "Let's go home." He said and headed back to his home. He gave his daughter privacy to get dress while he went to a building in the back yard that he used to morph back to his old self and dressed in simple black basketball shorts. he still didn't know about this whole date with that boy since he was from his pack, but he did have some satisfaction that he was still the alpha and would give the boy a small taste of what he would do of the boy hurt his daughter.
