Personal Information
Your name: Nik
Your age: 16
Contact info: PM
Character Information:
Full Name: Joevy Fae-Lynn Keller
Nickname: Joe
Species: Super kid
Powers: Joe has the ability to tap into different
dimensions. This allows her to walk through objects like walls or doors etc.
when she uses her abilities, say when she’s looking at a door to a house, she
will see the location she’s looking at in several different dimensions. So, if
she wanted to walk through it, she would focus on a dimension where the door doesn’t
exist and use it to walk through the door. She cannot stay in other dimensions
for an extended period of time due to lack of training, but can usually stay in
a separate dimension for at least a minute. She can also pull things from separate
dimensions into our dimension. Like if she needed a pencil or a weapon or
anything she can carry. She cannot pull people or creatures from other
dimensions into ours. Those she does try to pull will deteriorate on a
molecular level and slowly disappear – ceasing to exist in any dimension
anymore. Finally, this allows Joe to teleport short distances. This is because
when she enters a different dimension, time stands still in ours. So when she
reappears, time will start back again in our dimension.

Personality: Joevy likes to keeps to herself, mostly.
Due to past situations, she hasn’t had the best treatment from classmates or
random people. She’s very independent and hates when people try or offer to do
things for her. She’s not a people person, and seems to have a knack for
unintentionally insulting people. With the death of her parents at a young age,
and only her almost careless brother to guide her, she’s become very tough - Able
to take care of herself (as she’s pretty much done since the death of her
parents). She knows her way around a fight. She’s always hidden herself from
others – only showing them this tough outer shell that no one can seem to get
through. The closest thing Joevy will ever show of the side of her under the
shell is the love and affection she gives her dog, Alden (Al). A long-haired, blue
heeler, Australian Cattle dog.
Likes: being alone. Scavenging other dimensions for
flowers, rocks, nick-knacks, etc. singing. Photography. Fire. The colors black,
white, and red. Al.
Dislikes: people. Crowds. Being in public. Her brother.
Dirty things (filth). Loud noises (not made by her). Cats. Hot temperatures. School.
Strengths: tough. Thick-skinned. Level-headed. Focused.
Powerful. Intimidating. Adaptable.
Weaknesses: stubborn. Loner. Doesn’t trust anyone. Harsh.
She tends to start unnecessary fights at school. Unwilling to participate in
anything she doesn’t want to. Unfriendly.
Fears: people finding out her secret. Her mother. Too
much attention. Being dirty. Loosing Al. heights. Guns. Killing someone.
Weapon of choice: Herself. Joevy will fight and hurt
someone all she can, but she will never kill, so she prefers to stick with her
fists and her feet.
History:
Sample post: As Joe laid in her bed, she tried to
stay awake as long as possible. She didn’t want to dream…but she dreamt still. She’d
been having this same dream every night since her twelfth birthday. It started
the same each time. Joe was walking home with her family from the store like
she had every Sunday since she could remember. She loved to look at the
different buildings as she walked by. All of them three floors high with a door
right in the middle. A small circular window right above the door and one
window on each floor above it. Each of them the same, but different at the same
time. Some of the houses were blue, some yellow, some green, but she liked the
red ones the best. They reached the corner alley way that was what her dad
called a “short cut”. This was the part of the trip she always hated. The alley
was always filthy. Garbage lay strung out on the ground, spray paint designs
she couldn’t make out, rust on all the metal, and the smell…she just wanted to
get through it.
Joe and
her family were almost through her father’s so called “short cut” when they
heard a noise coming from a branching alley. Joe couldn’t make out what it was,
but her parents looked worried. Her father yelled out “hello?” but there was no
answer. Suddenly the noise grew much louder. It sounded like struggling and
running. Again, her father yelled “hello?” Then from around the corner flew a
man dressed in an oversized outfit that looked as if it would all fall off with
every step. He was carrying a small briefcase with what looked like money
hanging out of the creases in the side. A moment later, another man wearing all
black jumped around the corner and came running. Joe had no idea what was going
on, but all she heard was a very loud BANG and her mother grabbing her arm and beginning
to run. Another BANG went off and her father stumbled to the ground. The man in
the loose clothing passed Joe and her family, dropping the briefcase next to
her father on the ground. Her mother pushed her and her brother underneath a
table and a pile of boxes then rushed to her father. The man in black stopped
at her father and aimed his gun. Her mother took the briefcase in an attempt to
hit the man in black with it, but to no avail. A BANG pierced Joe’s ears and
she jammed her eyes shut, covering her mouth so she wouldn’t scream. A second
BANG. Joe couldn’t understand what was happening. All she knew was that she was
scared. She didn’t want to open her eyes. When she finally did, she was back in
her room. The bright sun shining through the windows between the shades. She sat
up, feeling sick as the sweat dripped down her body. Thank god it’s over, she thought. But she knew it would happen
again the next night.
