Jack sigh at the question regarding Amanda."To be honest I don't know what or where is she doing or up to....she's somewhat part of her life, Kailah does recognized her." He said. He did wonder sometimes if he made the right choice when Amanda had given the option to stay around. She was getting better, but then she was bitten by Candace abd it felt like it was back to square one.

Kailah ran over to him, he smiled and handed her a few of her snacks which were cheerios. He gave his daughter a smile, watching her play with her toys now.

Finny watched Kailah walk over to her father, a much softer smile on his face then. He looked a little sad at hearing what was going on with Amanda. He looked back to the little girl, unsure of how he felt about this.
"Well I hope she becomes more involved over time. No child should have to be raised without a mother."
He thought back to his childhood, knowing his mother had been quite involved in his life up until he had been caught by a fishermen. Even his adoptive mom was deeply caring and constantly on watch of him until he left, making him hope nothing terrible happened to Amanda to make her spend less time with her only daughter. The siren couldn't help to chuckle at watching Kailah start to play, knowing at least one good parent was in the picture.

Amandas parents were still much involved in Kailahslife, they helped him out alot and adored Kailah." She actually offered to give up her parental rights to me....but I wanted to help her, I want Kailah to have two parents in her life, even if were not together." He revealed.

He smiled at Kailah, watching the toddler play. "She loves mermaids, which is why I think she has such a liking to you." He added. Kailah had taken out a mermaids doll, playing with it.

Finny couldn't help to look sad as he listened to Jack confess a bit of information about Amanda. It sounded like the woman still cared, but there was something wrong. He knew not to push for information though as he thought back to his family. His real dad had been rather involved in his life, but his adoptive dad on the surface was always unsure of dealing with him. He still theorized that his adoptive dad had led the researchers in the lab to find him, but he didn't think too much on that anymore.
"At least it sounds like Amanda still cares greatly for her. This makes me wonder about how either of my mothers would react to seeing me today."
He didn't care that it sounded strange or that he might need to explain, but he did seem to get a small smile on his lips at thinking about them. He noticed then Kailah playing with a doll that looked like a mermaid, unable to help chuckle when Jack linked the child's love for mermaids to having such a fascination with the siren.
"That could explain some things."
He was watching Kailah then, unable to hold back a smile as the little girl played with the doll.

Amanda parents were very much involved in the girls life, so at least that was safe to say. He watched Kailah with a smile."Would you ever want to see them again?" He asked. He looked to Finny now. He didn't know to much about the others past. He knew that grew wad taken from the sea by that evil fisherman.

"I was thinking of taking Kailah to Disney world sometime." He said.

Finny was still watching Kailah for a moment, the soft smile ever present on his lips. He looked up at being asked if he ever wanted to see his parents again, making him look away as he spoke.
"I'd love to see my birth mother again, I'm just afraid she won't recognize me after being gone so long and think I'm lying that I'm her kid. I think my adoptive mother is still at the research lab but I'm not so sure how'd she react either. She's the one that saved me, but I'm just not sure. I miss them dearly though."
He looked over and blinked a little at Jack saying he wanted to take Kailah to Disney. A brighter smile returned to his lips then, unable to find the thought sweet,
"Im sure she'd love that."

"If I was you, I would go and see them, I would give anything just to see ny parents again." He said. He did miss them, his mother died trying to protect him from a vampire hunter and his father died trying to protect the both of them. He shook those memories away, focusing on what was happening right now. "Yeah, I actually did buy plane tickets for next month, I don't know if I should invite Amanda or not." He said.

Finny knew what Jack was saying was right, but it still scared him some. He wasn't even sure where to start finding his birth mother considering thanks to the fisherman that caught him he was terrified to go back to the ocean, but he remembered where the research lab was. He'd really have to look into seeing if she was still there and maybe plan a visit. He listened to Jack talk about having tickets already for the trip along with considering inviting Amanda. Finny smiled st Jack, giving his opinion on what to do.
"I think you should invite her. It never hurts to ask, and I think she'd want to see how much Kailah could enjoy the place. It's up to you though."

He knew that he should invite Amanda, but would she even come. When they had a family outing, she always seemed to have to leave early. He looked at the other."I'll ask her, Kailah would have wanted her to go." He said. He looked at the other with a smile ."So what do your want to do now?" He asked. Kailah picked up her mermaids doll and handed it to Finny."Fishy." She said.

Finny smiled at hearing Jack was going to ask Amanda to join him and Kailah to disney. It was the thought that counted to him anyways. He was starting to watch Kailah again, noticing how she was trying to get his attention once more. He couldn't help to giggle at being handed one of the mermaid dolls, hearing her say fishy again. He looked up at Jack's question on what to do, being somewhat distracted by Kailah.
"Not sure, but I think someone wants to play dolls with the siren."
He was smiling down at Kailah then, more than willing to play with the little girl if she wanted to keep his attention at the moment/

Kailah smiled when he took the doll, she had her on and started talking in her cute baby talk. Jack watched with a smile."Your the first boyfriend that she had taken such a liking to." He admitted. He decided to maybe ask Amanda tomorrow afer work, he left her a text on his phone to ask if she wanted to go, he didn't know how quick she would reply. She probably knw already that e was now dating Finny as well and was prepared to feel some wrath from her.

Finny was falling right into playing with Kailah, not minding the babbling she did or that she was wanting to keep his attention. He was doing pretty well with playing with the child before Jack spoke up. He blinked a bit in surprise at hearing that he was the first boyfriend that Kailah had taken a liking to. It made him wonder if she didn't want anything to do with Mason when the witch had been around. The siren looked up to Jack then, unable to help with questions.
"Maybe it has something to do with my looking so girly? She just seems like a sweet little girl, Im not even sure how someone couldn't like her to make her not like them."
He started playing with Kailah again, not wanting her to get too fussy. He was starting to think that Mason or whoever else Jack had dated wasn't too fond of kids like the siren was.

He smiled but it was one of sadness."I am not sure why she didn't take a liking to my ex...." he said. He wasn't sure about telling Finny about what had happened with Mason. He did watch them for awhike longer, seeing the other already being sleepy . He pickEd Kailah up."Time for bed." He said.

Finny noticed the sad look to Jack's smile, regretting even asking what he did. He looked back to Kailah and noticed she did seem to be getting tired. A soft and warming smile came to his face as he picked her up, being careful as he held the girl.
"I think a little lullaby is in order then."
He started to sing softly then, a light rocking motion joined by it as he walked towards Kailah's room. He wasn't planning to leave jack behind in this, but it seemed the siren was pretty good at getting the child to sleep.

He watched Finny singing a beautiful lullaby, smiling as Kailah began to fall fast asleep. He followed, opening the door for Finny and helped tucked her in. Kailah was fast asleep, Jack laid her favorite stuff animal beside her and kissed her hair. Once she was asleep, he wrapped his arms around Finny with a smile. He was clearly incredibly happy now to be with the siren and kissed him deeply, looking back down to a sleeping Kailah. He pulled the other from the girls room, quietly closing the door behind him.

"What would you like to do?" He asked.
