It had been a couple of days since Jack had met that hunter. He knew he was being followed and actually killed the man who was keeping tabs on him after the man confessed that he was told to keep tabs.on Jack since the hunter seemed to know that he was a supernatural. Jack headed off to the grill, he needed a drink. He told Amandas grandparents what had happened so they were on high alert as well.
He sat down at the bar, getting a much needed drink. He drowned the alcohol, sighing at the burning sensation it caused. He couldn't wait to find that hunter again, he did send alittle message from killing that observer, but he wanted to see that hunter himself. Jack was a very kind person, but crossing paths with him made the.alpha turn downright sinister and dark.

Kevin did not have the night off, and it had been a longer and later shift than they normally gave him, but if he wanted to make rent, he needed the extra shift. As he worked he thought back to a few nights ago, at the open mic night, it had started off pretty well. A little smile planted itself on his face and he worked with that extra little pep in his step, at least until Kevin saw the frame of a man that looked eerily similar to someone he wasn't quite ready to see again. Especially not here, not dressed in an apron cleaning tables.
It burned at Kevin's pride to think of how pathetic it must look. The man from the gym obviously had some sort of ability to figure out that Kevin didn't have the purest of intentions. Kevin knew without a doubt that something horrible had to have happened to the poor girl's mother. How else could a supernatural have a sweet, innocent human child other than doing something horrible to a human? No one would willing cavort with them. Obviously.
Kevin kept his head down as he tried to finish his rounds of picking up dirty dishes so he could head back to the kitchen as quickly as possible. Maybe he could slip away unnoticed... He highly doubted it, but maybe his luck was turning around...

He smelt the hunter in the grill. His dark eyes looked around, trying to find out where the hunter was. He caught glimpse of the hunter and it appeared he was the buss boy. He watched the Hunter before getting up then, he pretty much stopped the other from getting ready."We need to talk." He said, glaring at the hunter.

Aggravation stung at him, glaring bitterly back at the supernatural. He'd have to get a new job now, if the guy had such an easy time finding him it was just a matter a days before his throat was slit while he slept. And Kevin liked his throat, just the way it was. He felt it wasn't too thick, and didn't make his head look too big. It was a good throat, it shouldn't have to be slit.
Kevin pretended to find a spot on a nearby table and he hastily replied to the supernatural, "Then talk. I've got a job to do, I won't let you get me fired." It seemed the creature knew the sinister purpose for being in town, but Kevin had been so careful, he hadn't spoken or said anything out of turn, not that he could pin point at least. The man just seemed irate and possibly insane. Maybe he was just a super fast maniac? Kevin still felt that wouldn't save his throat. He'd just purchased those sheets too! He didn't want them stained with blood, let alone his own.

"I don't appreciate you keeping tabs on mine, hunter, if you want to kill me then go ahead and try I dislike being spyed on." He said. There would be way more to talk about once the hunter was done with his shift and he was a patient man."Also you getting my daughter to hide from me, that will only make me dislike you even more and you don't want to cross paths with me and involved my daughter." He added, growing at the human.
"What do you want from me, there is a reason why you are keeping tabs on me." He said, crossing his arms across his chest, feeling his eyes flash their signature icy blue when he was angry.

Kevin was genuinely confused by the man's words, "I'm sorry,- what? Keeping tabs on you? What the @#$% are you talking about? I seem to run into people who know you, but this is a small town." Everything he said was surprisingly truthful, he'd wanted to keep tabs on the man, but he hadn't actually had the time or resources to do anything about it. Something about him seemed dangerous, and Kevin wanted to protect people like Finny who were close enough to get burned.
Anger seethed through him and he shot the dish rag into his tub, "Look, the whole "Hide-from-your-dad-thing was a little in poor taste, I admit, but it's not like I ran off with her." Kevin jumped a little when the normally dark eyes flashed a different color and the man growled at him. That helped narrow down the kind of supernatural he was dealing with.
"As for killing you, now I don't know if you've noticed, but I'm a busboy. I pick up dishes, wipe down tables. What motivation would I have to kill you? I don't even know you." He dissembled, trying to be convincing enough to get this guy off his case. With a huff, Kevin picked up the tub of dishes and water, then turned to walk away.

He didn't believe anything the man was saying. That man he had killed said a hunter was spying on him to keep tabs and he knew that this hunter had been going around and asking questions about him, that he was sure of. The human practically admitted and confirm what he knew already. "You've been asking around about me, that collecting information Anne keeping tabs quite trying to play dumb, I can sense when a human is a hunter it's not that hard." He added.
The fact that the human was trying to play dumb didn't sit well with him and it only made him more angrier. He watched him walk off and had half a mind to kick the human into a wall, but he refrained himself and would wait.

His anger crept over and he let the tub of dishes slam onto the counter top into the kitchen. Pissed off he took his apron off, "I'm going home, dock my pay, I don't care." He spat the words out, his mood grim and dark. When he left the kitchen and say the supernatural still waiting there he approached him, fuming. "I have been asking around about you. Wanna know why? You're dangerous. You are a danger to your boyfriend and a danger to your daughter."
At this point Kevin wanted to fight, wanted to shove a fist into the guys belly and break his nose. His sensibility screamed at him and he took a deep breath trying to calm down. All he needed to do was deflect this guy. He'd proven by actions and words that he was not only far from human, but dangerous. More than enough proof to send to the Professor and have every available resource brought down to cage this wild thing. Kevin wouldn't let this beast hurt anymore innocents.

That.seemed to do the trick, he wanted to settle this now. His anger only increased at the man words and Jack finally lost it. He punched the human, sending the man flying through a few empty table. The owner knew Jack, ordering the wolf to take it outside."Sorry Max, take the cost of damages from my tab." He apologized. The human would more likely have a broken nose, he looked down at the fallen human that face was covered in blood."Your the dangerous one, humans have killed innocent supernaturals for centuries, they killed my parents when I was.a child and left me orphan, we lived as normal people do their was no reason why they or other innocent supernaturals die just because were.different." He said,.
With that he went outside, leaning against the wall and would wait to see if the human would follow and try something.

Kevin held his nose and tilted his head back trying to get the bleeding to stop. Nothing but curses streamed from his lips as he cursed the man that hit him, cursed him for being a blind pig and an idiot. Once his head stopped spinning and pushed back the few other staff members that came to see what all the fuss was about. His anger didn't care for innocent bystanders as he let his furious words out, "Back the @#$% off."
As he left the facility, Kevin rolled his eyes with an obvious sigh of exasperation. "You can back the @#$% off too. You think you're the only one that's had bad shit happen? My parents were killed too you @#$%bag. Your @#$%ing kind ripped my sister into bite sized chunks. We'd never hurt anyone, we didn't even know you @#$%ing existed."
Hands and face bloodied he stumbled away, not wanting to get his ass turned into a red smear this evening. It wasn't over, not by a long shot, but Kevin would rather concede this battle to later win the war.

Jack only told that bit of information to maybe get into the humans thick skull that not all supernaturals are bad just like not all humans are bad. He had friends who were hunters but thats only because they kill supernaturals that kill humans just for the fun of it. This hunter needed to go after those ssupernaturals not one that Iis a caring father and protects his pack and helps others.
He watched the human finally emerged from the bar. He listened to the.cursing and shook his head. "Has it ever occur to you that their are bad supernaturals as well as bad humans, you spying on me is.in vain I don't kill humans just for the fun of it, quite being ignorant of what I'm telling you and think, or you will be killed in this town, we try to live in peace and we don't need some stupid hunter messing it up!" He added.

Licking his lips he could taste the blood that was just beginning to dry around his mouth. Unable to stop himself Kevin started laughing. It was ironic really, the last thing Kevin had ever expected. "I would have left this town in a few weeks had it not been for you." He emphasized the last word looking directly at the man. "I thought this assignment was a waste of time. Ihadn't even so much as found a speck of evidence anything was out of the ordinary. If you hadn't gone all macho-man and sought me out, and attacked me verbally, physically... I would have left in a month."
A part of him wasn't completely certain of that, a small piece of him was starting to like the little town. Already he knew most of the faces on the street where he lived. He knew the old lady that lived down the hall and helped her with her groceries, listened to her when she offered him tea as 'payment' for his kindness. He knew the spunky kid that belonged to a prideful, young single mother that did her best without anyone left to help her. Kevin tried not to think that it was anyone in particular that kept him here, a face, a name emerged in his mind. The mesmerizing smile.
Kevin stood unarmed before a predator and opened his arms, "So go ahead. Kill me. Kill me and see the flood that rains down on your heads. It won't care if you are good, or bad, or even indifferent. Make a martyr of me and watch as your town is burned into the ground." Not all of the Professor's men were scholars or even boys trained from young ages. Through out the spoils of the Professor's 'war' he had come across great sums of money, enough to hire men that loved nothing more than to kill.
There was no reason for Kevin to believe the man didn't kill humans, he seemed to enjoy beating up on Kevin enough to enjoy seeing another's life end. He held one secret close, one thought quiet and perfect in his mind. He hadn't reported yet. Despite his orders, and knowing what had to be done, a little girl with fiery curls kept him from reporting that he father was a dangerous killer. He didn't want to make her an orphan.

He just sigh at what the hunter had said, normally he would rather talk to someone and reason than just go and kill. "You were looking for supernaturals bound to run into one sometime, least it's me and not someone.who would have just killed you on the spot....or you would have killed an innocent person." He said. In a way, he was kinda glad that he was the target and not someone else.
"I don't kill without reason I hit you because your ignorant of me, you shouldn't speak till you know the whole story of my daughter and my lover." He said.
Hr shrugged.now." Go ahead and report me and bring your group, see what happens." He said and turned to walk away
