Daniel was tracking a vampire who had killed two female hikers this morning. They had been hiking in the.woods when they cross paths with the blood sucker. It made the situation.worst that this happen in broad daylight, it signal that this vampire didn't care about exposing himself, in other words a stupid and reckless vampire that deserved to die. He had been taking the vampire for three hours now before finally setting him.
He made his move, taking it his katana and slashed at the vampires chest, only grazing the skin though and the vampire took off. He ran after him, but couldn't keep up obviously. He looked at his surroundings, finding many track signs that the vampire had gone north. He had sheath the katana, holding onto his good hunting knife for protection when he saw the vampire again who was feeding on a deer. This vampire must gave stolen a daylight ring and been freshly turn. He decided to just shoot the vampire with his specially made bullets, he pointed at the vampire while he remained hidden and saw a dark silloute across from him. He didn't know if maybe this was a unsuspecting human, hunter or maybe a ally to the vampire

The day was going wonderfully. He felt like a weight had been lifted. No one had tried to kill him, no one had pulled a bait and switch on him, and no one had flirted with him until his heart hurt. His truck as parked at the edge of a forest and he'd been following the deer paths all morning. Quiet. Slow. His patience had been immeasurable.
Kevin deserved this, the deer was in his cross-hairs, completely unaware of its fate. Taking a deep breath in, Kevin let it out slowly, letting his finger begin to tighten on the trigger, waiting for that perfect moment to let his shot ring out. Steady breathing, steady hands, Kevin knew what he was doing and he could feel the excitement bubble in that half second before he pulled the trigger for a beautiful shot.
Crashing through the forest came an inhuman ruckus, as a hungry vampire flung itself on Kevin's deer. Teeth sharper than any human's ripped at the deer's throat, blood gushing everywhere. The wasteful nature of it screamed fresh vampire. That and the fact the thing looked like it dragged itself out of a grave that morning. Dirty and shoe-less, it ripped into the deer, not caring about the noise it made or the sad bleating of the dying animal.
Anger flooded Kevin's system, mixing with the adrenaline already pumping in his system. This thing had ruined Kevin's happy moment. Without even taking the partial second needed to aim fully, he let fly a bullet, knowing well that it wouldn't do anything but piss the undead thing off.
"Hey @#%%^*&, that was mine."

He was quiet, watching the dark figure before he.heard the darj figure suddenly show himself. He growled that this man just suddenly showed himelf like that and actually fired an gun, he had to dodge rather quickly, the bullet missed him by a hair. The vampire growled at the man, standing up now. Daniel put his gun up, jumping from his hiding spot and as quick as lightning, cut the vampire down. He glared at the other hunter, holding his blood soaked sword. "Are you an idiot!?" He asked rather harshly.

While Kevin didn't point his gun at the brash young fellow, he didn't put the weapon down. He only aimed to shoot, never in jest. "I'm not an idiot, boy scout, the hell are you doing out here with a sword?" His voice held the twang of a backwoods hunter, a trick that came in handy often when out in the woods with a high powered rifle. Kevin was dressed as anyone would when hunting deer. Mostly camouflage except for the vibrant orange vest used to make certain other hunters didn't shoot him.
"Alls I was doing was huntin' a deer. Then a thing came and took my kill. Pissed me off." It was all true, he had been quite upset that something took his deer, let alone work. Now some sassy hunter with a sword was going to start name calling him? Kevin did not like how this day was turning out. It had been so pleasant just a moment ago.

He.glared at the man, walking.over to the body.of the dead.vampire, he had sliced him down but he had.learn it was.best to cut the creatures head off. He beheaded the vampire, picking the vampires hand and saw the daylight ring, takingit off and.pocketed it. He looked back to the hunter."Im out here.making sure that blood dsucker wasn't going to hurt anyone else, you almost shot me." He said.
He picked the head up by its hair."You make a lot of noise for a hunter." He added, meaning it as a insult. He didn't like.being shot at nor did he like being called boy scout, he may look young but Daniel was some naive kid

Kevin felt the insult and narrowed his gaze, not liking the tone of this young upstart. "Oh good job, you cut down the vampire. With a... is that a katana? What are you an anime character? I'm surprised your hair isn't blue and spiked." Kevin noticed that the other hunter took something off the vampire's hand but had no idea what it was.
"Good job boy scout, you killed a fledgling." Kevin let the rifle's weight fall back on the shoulder strap he wore, allowing his hands to be free to applaud the kid's efforts. "Hurrah, hurrah."
"I probably wouldn't have almost shot you, if you were wearing proper attire for being in the forest during hunting season." Kevin was tired of people trying to bully him around, he was a competent man in his own right. His face was still obviously bruised, the vibrant purple fading into sickly yellows and greens under his eyes, an afterthought of the broken nose he still bore.

Daniel didnt let the hunters words get to him, he was calmer than that. He did think the guy was immature though, he heard teenagers make the.same remark he did concerning his.katana. he just rolled his eyes."Wow where you hear that comment from a group of sixteen year olds?" He asked alittle sarcastically.
He narrowed his eyes some."I've killed worst thank you, learn how to shoot properly be embarrassing that I would have to save your ass since you couldn't shot a newborb that was five feet infront of you." He added.
He said nothing on his sattire, he wore mainly.neutral and comfortable cloths, he cleaned his blade of and sheathed it, checking on his gun now, making sure that his bullets were in good supply.

Kevin scoffed a little, "Look at mister bad ass. He doesn't take shit from anyone does he? What'll it be lone wolf? Ya lonely little boy scout, where's your troop? I'd love to buy some cookies." Seeing no reason to use his rifle, Kevin put the safety on and slung it properly on his back, it'd take him a few more seconds to actually shoot something, but he saw no life-threatening danger from the kid.
Curious, Kevin nonchalantly placed his hands on the small of his back, careful to avoid his rifle. "Now, Captain Bad Ass, what's your next step?" Kevin knew what he wanted to do, but he wanted to see what the kid's plan was, see if he had training similar to his. A fledgling vampire meant only one of a handful of things, most of them traceable to a single point. After the fledgling werewolf attack in the forest that ended with one less howler, Kevin was beginning to wonder just why there were so many leaderless, newly indoctrinated supernaturals.

"Oh the old boy scouts routine, like I haven't heard that.one before." He added and actually laughed, shaking his head and put the safety on his gun, taking his katana, knifes and guns.off and placed them neatly on the ground. He then took off the black jacket he had on.
He looked at the man for a.moment."I would likw to knock your two front teethin is what my.next step would hbe, you talk to.much." he adde..

Kevin grinned broadly, white teeth gleaming. The other hunter may be young, but he was old enough to know not to ask for a fight he didn't want. Game on, that's all Kevin could feel. He easily took the rifle off, setting it to the side, barrel raised in the air and propped on a log. Kevin didn't feel like tussling in blood, but he'd have to just keep an eye on the mess. It'd be a shame if someone slipped in it.
As the young man took off his jacket to fight, Kevin took off his orange vest, wearing just his under shirt and camouflage overalls. Kevin was sure the new hunter must surely be quaking in his boots at the fearsome sight that was Kevin. Nothing was more terrifying than a man in overalls. With ease, Kevin fell into a stance fit for fighting, knees bent, feet apart, body angled to give the smallest target. Simple, basic stance that provided easy defense and fast attacks. Bouncing ever so slightly on the balls of his feet, Kevin started his fighting dance.
"Knock my teeth in, huh, kid? Let's see what you got." Kevin threw an easy left hook, testing the waters.

The man seemed eagered to fight. Normally Daniel didn't fight unnecessarily, but he needed to have nice fist fight and would be good to knock the guys two front teeth in. He didn't find the man intimidating, he never found many.people intimidating unless he felt like he was in danger or knew ahead of time that this wasn't the person to.mess with. He took his.own stance, it was similar to the other hunters, but his fist werent balled up, they were open and sharp.
The left hook got him, but he quickly took a sharp jab, hitting the man in the neck with the tip of his fingers. It wouldn't do permanent damage, but might be.alittle difficult to breath for a few.minutes. He had a bruise now on his.jaw, but he was determined.

Kevin coughed at the jab to his neck and backed up, careful to stay focused and dodge any other attacks until he got his breathing under control. He had a good comeback to the little squirt but couldn't speak due to his little lack of air. The moment passed and Kevin didn't get to be snarky, that alone was enough to further stoke his anger.
A few more punches and jabs were exchanged, Kevin hating the feeling of those straight edged fingers. Kevin didn't have the finesse for that style of fighting, he preferred a hammer to a chisel. Kevin began to sweat, his overalls meant for concealment and keeping bugs at bay, not fighting. Chin up, elbows in, eyes on the target. All the quips from his fighting instructor repeated like a mantra in the back of his head, his body fluid from practice of the simple motions. Block, punch, duck, dip, punch. The motions were familiar and it felt good to use them once more. All too often it was easier to shoot a thing from afar.
Supernaturals could easily beat a man in a fist fight, guns being a great equalizer on that front. But it wasn't about survival right now. It was about kicking a kid's butt to show him some respect. Kevin had been at this game a long time, and while he wasn't fancy, he got the job done. Step, dodge, duck, dip, it felt good to be hit and hit in return. There'd be bruises between the both of them, but Kevin was not going to give in to some snot nosed brat barely out of training to beat him.
"Ya gunna go Super-Saiyan on me?" He was certain the remark would get him hit, but he liked throwing people off with words. Stoking their fires and making them upset enough to make mistakes.

The two went at it. He finally closed his fist, punching the man now. They were covered with bruises and sweats. He was trying to calm and frowned at tge remark. He just smiled though, hitting the.man again but had to catch himself on the tree. He was sweating and.almost out of breath. The two had gone at it for awhile now. They were equally skilled obviously, but he didn't want this.guy thinking just because he was older, didn't mean anything.

((I went on ahead with an idea I had, if you disapprove of it, please let me know and I will change it! I just got excited))
Kevin kept on swinging, but was starting to see the efforts were futile. At some point someone was going to slip up with hits and it wouldn't be in a good way, they were both getting tired, and Kevin really didn't feel like having another broken bone. There was no doubt in his mind that both of them were holding back at least a little. This guy seemed to be all about the rules. He had proper training, and proper form, Kevin had basic form but lots of tricks he hadn't used yet.
Using the momentum of a hit from the other hunter, Kevin let himself fall to the ground. He did a maneuver to try and knock the other guy down too, trying to turn their brawl into a low down wrestling match. It wasn't exactly a "legal" move, turning the tables, but Kevin didn't care about the rules in this instance.

How long had they gone at it? He had blood dried around the corner of his mouth and a bruise on his cheek, but the other guy didn't exactly look unscathed either. He watched as the guy fell to the ground and sure enough, he was taken down with him. Immediately he tried getting into a position where the other was being held down, but he was tired and his holding was weak. He felt like his heart was racing, never had he worked so hard before in a fight.
