Powers:
all his powers involve water and can be strengthened or weakened by the phases of the moon.
Water manipulation: move and shift water around him, including water vapor with elegant movements and his mind. he can change water from liquid to gas and back but if he turns solid ice into water or vapor he can only revert it into a liquid state.

Glimmering tears: When he cries for too long, he doesn't cry tears but pearls. this power isn't really much of an ability but the pearls are worth a pretty penny.

Aquatic transformation: When his body comes in contact with water in a liquid state, his body changes into that of the mythical merman. If this happens when he isn't submerged from the knees down, he will instead gain small aquatic features such as fins on his calf and fore arms, webbed fingers and toes, small webed ears, and scale patches matching that of his merman form.

Siren's Lullaby: when Adonis sings, his voice lulls people into a trance for as long as he is singing. The one affected by the song will feel as if in a dream like state, at times hallucinating what is going on around them.

His powers seem rather weak during the night of the new moon and at their strongest when it is full. He has to return to some sort of containment of water before the sun completely sets or he will have aquatic features with no water to hide in.

  5'3",5'7" in merman form, 115lbs, skin is pale to where it almost looks transparent. His aquatic features have the color of a pale blue-green with bioluminescent specs all over that glow. Sometimes with close observation one can see he has the specs all over even in his human form. the astronomical symbol for Neptune on each hip and the astronomical symbol for the moon on the back of his neck and tongue. both shoulders are scarred from where large fish hooks were gauged into him for display.
  
  Personality:Adonis is rather bright and bubbly around people. He has a bit of a shy temperament and has a habit of seeming to flirt unintentionally. He can be a big cry baby at times, but he can easily be cheered up from whatever has upset him. He is easy going for the most part as long as fishing boats aren't mentioned. when his fears are mentioned, he cries like no tomorrow and will run away. He can easily make friends but he is still rather choosy and one can know if he likes you by his clinginess. He can be an annoyance at times by the seeming 180s his moods will do but he is very loving once trusted.
  Likes:salt water, bubble baths, swimming, sushi(mainly tuna and eel), cherries, sleep, dawn, boys, werewolf boys, making jewelry from shells and his pearl tears, singing.

  Weaknesses: scared easily by people, short attention span, fire, fishing boats, large swordfish sized fishing hooks, twisting his hair in his fingers, running/swimming away when startled, being too clingy, flirting unintentionally, and crying too much.

  History:
  Adonis was a rather unlucky sea creature that at the human age of 9 swam too far from his underwater home and too close to the shores of the nearby fishing port. He had gotten himself tangled up in a fishing net being hauled by a boat and nearly mistaken for a mutated fish of some sort. The fisherman that owned the boat decided to make use of the fish boy and turn him into a bit of a side show. He was hung above a large fish tank with just his tail touching it by large fishing hooks in his shoulders for people to see the oddity that he was. he spent a few months living like that crying pearl tears each night making the greedy fisherman richer. He was thankfully saved by marine biologists Diana and Leon Roberts and taken from the evil hooks and fisherman. They wanted to return him back to the ocean but Adonis was too scared to return to the ocean as he was terrified the fisherman would catch him again. The Roberts decided to adopt him and took him back to live partially in the research facility they worked at. He would spend his days mostly playing with fish in the tanks, staying out of view of other researchers as a means not to be disturbed. Around the age of 17 he would still spend time
  In the tanks after school and ended up too close to the glass where one of the researchers had clear view of him. He ended up being caught by the rest of the team and had testing done as a means to understand what he was. his parents weren't allowed in on the research, causing the young merman to run off on his own the first chance he got. He ended up wandering around the coast for the longest time, every so often sending letters to his adoptive parents that he was okay. He now resides in the town of somber falls as a means to make hiding a little easier and having a stable home of sorts again.
