Character Information:
Full Name: Wynter 'Beau' Roux
Nickname: Beau
Species: Werewolf
Powers: Teleportation and astral travel ~ Wynter has been able to teleport when in times of trouble. He still hasn’t managed to control it and doesn’t really know if he ever will. Unlike his other ‘powers’ this one is triggered only when he is scared, angry or panicked. He has been able to teleport a few times though he has to be able to visualise the place and believe he is there but hasn’t mastered how to stop it happening at the most inconvenient times. He can also travel in his sleep, separating his mind from his body in order to do so. Both are connected in ways.
Telepathy ~ So this one crept up on him just before his 14th birthday. He can’t listen to people’s thoughts but can talk to them, if he is willing too, through his mind though. At first, this was considered a bit of an annoyance but it was the easiest of his powers to control and was soon able to stop people hearing his thoughts when he didn’t want them too. He still has the occasional outburst when he’s angry or just wants to be listened but tries not to use this power as much.

Personality:
He isn’t afraid to question things or stand his ground; his father teaching him this though like his father, he makes sure it’s the right thing to do first. He’ll always put other people first and do anything to make sure his friends and loved ones are not in harm’s way.
When it comes to other wolves, Wynter will not trust them as far as he can throw them, believing that all packs are violent and evil as his old one. He will however, give them a chance to prove themselves but won’t turn his back on them for a second. This mostly goes for men as women seem to make a fuss over him instead.
He’s still very playful and is quite happy spending his time running around outside, especially when it is sunny, swimming through the lakes and observing other people from afar. Since Wynter has been kept from civilisation for most of his life he sometimes finds it hard to communicate with other people to the level he should be at. However, he does try his damned hardest to fit in and doesn’t let anything hold him back. He’s got quite far considering and still has problems understanding jokes and sarcasm and whether or not to take people seriously.
As he has only ever known the kids in his own pack, he’s only used to doing things they used to do such as playing amongst themselves, chasing each other along the shore and training by each other’s sides. This is very different from what he knows now as people aren’t as close as packs are in the real world.
He enjoys learning things, especially about technology and music as those were things he went without for years. Now he has access to it all, he curiously takes everything apart and puts it back together again to see how it all works. It’s all very fascinating to him. He learnt to play the guitar after a year of constant practising between fixing things at his brothers shop and is currently saving up for his own car.
People will have to excuse his wild mind and timidness at first as they wonder why he watches them all the time. This is just him taking in who you are before getting closer. Apart from that, he’s more than happy running around in the park and chasing butterflies all day as long as no one makes a sudden move on him.

History:
Wynter was one of those fortunate wolves to be born in to a pack where he had all the love and protection he needed. His father at the time was the packs Alpha and Wynter looked to him as a role model, standing by his father’s side from a very young age as he knew that no matter what decisions he made, it was always for the best interest of the pack and the people he called his family.
He was home schooled along with five other kids in the pack, one of which been his older brother Sammy. They lived in a quiet, secluded place near the beach on the outskirts of a small town called Whitby in England. It was said that if any of them was ever seen in their wolf form, they would be hunted down and killed due to the stories that had been started after one wolf had accidently been seen one night whilst taking an innocent wonder down the beach. Of course, this scared the young ones in to hiding away and going to be at the right times, all apart from little Wynter.
He had a wild imagination and couldn’t understand why the humans they lived among couldn’t accept them for what they were; they’d never harmed anyone since the pack had first forms many years ago by their great great grandfathers. Every night he would sneak out, chasing the waves as they lapped the shore, dipping his paws in then squeaking and running away again as soon as the icy water touched his toes. For years he carried on like this, watching the humans from afar, even in his human form. Being home schooled meant the only friends they had were the ones they had been bought up with and it was forbidden for them to socialise with the towns people should their secrets be revealed.
When he was 14, he was wandering the beach late one night when he met someone. He was an interesting character called Nathan and he too was different to most. He could control the elements and even cause storms which he showed Wynter just before they had to go their separate ways again. Every night from then, Wynter would sneak out and meet the boy who had a sister called Marie. They introduced themselves as witches, something Wynter had always thought was a myth made up to scare the people of Whitby. They laughed, joked, played and talked, curious about everything there was to know about each other.
One night he returned home to see his father and uncle having a serious argument. When they saw him, they stopped and he was called aside by the Alpha to have a word. His father explained that they knew he had been sneaking away, giving away their secrets and whereabouts to others that they couldn’t trust. Of course Wynter tried to stand up for them, stand up for himself as he had seen his father do but unfortunately, it wasn’t just his father’s decision this time.
The rest of the wolves were furious, disappointed Wynter hadn’t been disowned like any of them would have been should they have been caught. Sammy stood by Wynter’s side and that’s when the trouble began.
Their uncle believed their father was no longer fit to be alpha, he had grown weak with his age and they felt he no longer stood up to the mark. Whilst Wynter and Sammy were at school one day, the fight began to decide the new Alpha, the one surviving to be the chosen one.
They returned that evening to find to their horror, the two young witches bodies laid out on the floor before them. It was said their uncle had won and to show he wasn’t going to take any nonsense, he hunted down the witches and killed them with no remorse.
Wynter was distraught and blamed himself. Lashing out at the man who was meant to be his family and care, he was beat down before he was told he’d pay for going behind their backs by death. Obviously his father and Sammy refused to stand by and watch Wynter’s fate play out and therefore, the fight started.
Wynter watched on in horror as his father was the first to be taken down, the females of the group rushing their children indoors before coming back to help aid the fallen ex alpha. Sammy was then left fighting alone and after realising she was about to lose the three men that meant most to her, his mother stepped in too. She pulled Sammy away, knowing he would face the same penalty as their father and Wynter for taking their sides and told him to run, take Wynter and go to their grandmothers.
Without looking back, he took Wynter and ran. They didn’t stop until they reached Brighton, their grandmother already hearing the news and waiting anxiously to see if they had made it. She told them their father had been killed instantly, not standing a chance after the first beating he had received and that their mother had disappeared. From what she had heard, the pack was now looking for them, afraid of their sins being spread and others finding out their ways.
She packed them onto a flight to America and sent them to live with a friend of hers in a sleepy town named Somber where she was sure their old pack wouldn’t find them.
When they arrived, they were taken in as family. On their first night it was explained to them that their grandmother and them had left shortly after their grandfather died due to their uncles demanding attitude. They could tell the pack was going downhill and after all of them stood up against him, they walked out and left their father to take control saying that their uncle was to angry and couldn’t control his temper to be the alpha.
They were both enrolled in to school so as to learn more about the outside world and learn to communicate with others their age. It was a big step for the two and after a year, Sammy opened his own music store in the centre of town where he sold music, instruments and even asked Wynter to fix some of the instruments bought in so as to raise a little extra cash for the things he wanted. As he grew, their new family commented on how alike Wynter looked in comparison to their father. Once Wynter explain he no longer wanted the name his family had given him as it was tainted, they called him after his father instead. They have been in Somber four years now and don’t plan on moving on anytime soon unless they find themselves on the run again.
