Hunter was much smaller than Jack was, but the to was very useful to have around and he was quite strong for his age. Plus having a beta that could read mind certainly helped and it did help his situation when Jack was choosing a beta. Hunter not smiled."Nice to met you to." Hunter said with a polite smile.

"No actually a witch built it for me and she is the one that also cast a spelled around the cabin." He said. He was good friends with alot of the witches here. "Okay how about you and Hunter fight for a round, no killing but other than that go all out and no shifting." He said looking to hunter and smiled.

Hunter nodded."We'll you two can begin." He said and stepped back about twenty or more feet. Hunters claws grew and so did his fangs, his eyes turned a yellow color and he took a a stance before charging towards Valerie, he wasnt going to go easy on her either.

Valerie was amazed that not only was the werewolf friends with witches, but a witch had built his cabin as well as spell it. She'd never really experienced people being such good friends before in the real world, but she was learning every day. When Jack started to explain the rules of their fight, Valerie removed the switchblade from her pocked and tossed it to the side before she removed her jacket and gloves as well. She didn't care much about her shirt or jeans, but that jacket had been expensive and she didn't want to ruin it if she didn't have to.

The female studied the beta for a moment when his claws grew out and his eyes turned yellow. If she could beat him without shifting at all, she would. When he charged towards her, Val smirked slightly as she charged at the male, dodging out of his way at the last second to come up behind him, ready to block whatever move he would make before returning the favor. Naturally though, she tried to get her arm around the wolf's neck when she was behind him like that.

He had his claws ready and was going to slash at her but she dodged his attack and appeared behind him. Before he could do anything, she had her arm around his neck. He reached back and wrapped his arm around her head and flipped her over his shoulder. He jumped away from her once he slammed her into the ground and stared at her, kicking into his telepathy and stared right at her.

Jack just watched the fight with interest and waited to see what the two would do next. She could copy movements but Hunter could read her next move, quite a interesting scenario was going to take place.

Quite honestly, she'd expected to be thrown like that, she just wanted to get a good read on this Hunter character before really taking him seriously. She couldn't help but chuckle from her position on the ground and pushed herself back on her feet an instance later. She didn't like that he stepped away from her like that as she had no idea what he was planning on doing next. She knew she couldn't take her eyes off the beta though, because the moment she did, she might find herself in some serious trouble.

It confused her when her opponent would just stand and stare at her like that, and she brushed herself off to try to regain her focus a little. Then she walked closer to Hunter, ready to just depend rather than be on the offensive. If she was defending herself, she wasn't really giving away too much about what she was intending to do as it all depended on her opponent and she'd have more time to think about the perfect attack when the opportunity presented itself.

"You can do better than that, Hunter," she said, trying to provoke the beta while she stayed just out of reach. This one was more cautious than she'd expected and cautious fighters were always more dangerous than those who fought with little regard for their own life.

He just smiled at her trying to provoke him. Even Jack smiled even, he knew that Hunter wasnt provoked very easily, no, the beta had way more control over himself than that. He simply stared right into her eyes, as if reading her very soul before disappearing from view and reappearing right infront of her and slashed her across the chest and kicked the wound, sending her flying. He was the fastest in the pack but figured tht probably didnt effect her to much and she might even come at him much more furious than before.

Hunter stood there and waited for her to attack him. Jack was watching with clear amusement at this."Arent you goin to copy my moves?" Hunter asked and knew that he probably hinted that he could read her by reading her mind.

So it seemed she couldn't provoke the other wolf, but it didn't really matter anymore once slashed at her like that. She'd pulled away before his claws had done any real damage, but the kick still caught her off guard. Once Hunter asked if she were going to copy any of his moves, she knew why he was staring so much. A telepath... She'd encountered them before and most could really only read what a person was thinking about right then and there.

Closing her eyes for a moment, she did a thing her mother taught her to do: count backwards from ten in French, and when she looked back up at Hunter, she smirked again. "No need to copy what I already know," Keeping her mind on her French lessons didn't leave much room for planning ahead and it might just be enough to confuse Hunter.

Valerie circled Hunter, slowly and deliberately, the dull ache from the kick already forgotten about. She could stop him next time if he tried it again as she knew what to watch for now. Still not letting her thoughts linger on anything but how to properly conjugate a verb, she disappeared from view and reappeared in front of Hunter, putting all her momentum and strength behind it and pushed him to the ground.

She caught on of his ability and smiled when she focused her mind elsewhere. He stopped with the mid reading now and only stared at her till she finally made her move. He was pushed to the ground and hard to, it almost knocked the wind out f him. He stared up at her for a moment before trying to push her off him. Jack watched with interest on what she was going to do next now that she had Hunter on the ground. Hunter got one hand loosed and tried to hit her in the face with his claws. He wasnt going to go way on her and Jack knew that he wouldn't but oped that he wouldn't go easy on Hunter either.

Being raised where she had certainly made her more aware of other people's gifts and that there were in fact legit telepaths out there and not just the bogus ones from TV. She was satisfied when she'd gotten Hunter to the ground and for a little girl, she knew how to make herself heavy as she wouldn't for the life of her let Hunter push her off that easily. Even when he managed to get his arm free,she caught it just in time and pushed his arm to the side, using her foot to hold it to the ground.

"Clearly claws aren't everything," she chuckled and used her advantage to place a choke hold on Hunter. When she was applying her strength to knocking Hunter out though, her efforts to keep him down were lessened as despite her strength and skill, she wasn't strong enough to both keep the wolf down so he couldn't get up on his own and try to knock him out like that.

He felt his arm being pinned and then felt the choke hold. She was very fast and strong that was for sure. He felt himself starting to get very light headed but not before he got the other arm free and knocked her to the side and quickly turned her around so she was on her stomach and ha her arm twisted behind her back and a knee pressed to the base of her spine. He still felt rather light headed but shook it off."I'll admit your very strong and fast." He said and smiled, making sure to keep his knee where it needed to ensure that she couldn't realy move. "So copy car how you going to get out of this one?" He asked alittle cocky.

She wasn't one to get angry when she was in a fight, she knew it wasn't constructive. She'd been punished for it before. So when she was knocked to the side like that, she really didn't have a chance to move out of the way before he pressed a knee to the base of her spine like that, twisting her arms as well. Closing her eyes for a moment when she heard what the other wolf had to say, she breathed slowly, before she started wriggling her hands out of his hold.

Once she had her arms free, she was able to push against him and turn over so at least she had a chance to get in a few good hits. "Did I catch you by surprise earlier, telepath?" she retorted to the cocky remark. Now she just had to get back on top or on her feet and she was back to having a fair chance. As it was, she didn't have a chance to get back up just yet and would just have to meet Hunter by being on the defense again until the other made a move that allowed her to throw him and get back up.

He was thrown off now and she got a few good hits in and he quickly got out of arms tench now and stared at her, trying to figure out what move she was going to pull next. He stared at her and kept his full attention on her but not before Jack stepped between them and immediately hunter stopped and relaxed. Jack looked at the two before saying."I'll fight you....Hunter I think Vincent is looking for you." He said and smiled as the beta only nodded and jogged off.

Jack took his jacket off and tossed it aside."Attack." He said and smirked.

It pleased her to no end that Hunter got out of reach and just stared at her. She was back at her feet again and stared right back at the wolf. Once Jack stepped between the two, Valerie looked at him and studied him for a while before he told them he'd fight her instead of his beta. She wasn't afraid of Jack, even if she was sure that it was a fight she wasn't going to win. He had his honor as an alpha to defend after all; he wouldn't very well be alpha if he kept losing fights.

When ordered to attack, Valerie studied her new opponent for a moment. He was bigger than Hunter, so she'd have to go at it differently. Charging at him, she tried to shift his balance by getting a hold of his waist and putting all her weight behind it. She knew it was a long shot, and she really needed to learn his style before she could make the right moves.

He stood there as she attacked finally and once she grabbed his waist and tried putting her weight behind it. He merely wrapped his arm around her waist and lift her up, practically throwing her off him. He stood where he was still as she slammed into the ground and waited for another attack. Jack body was almost like stone, he was very solid and strong like a rock so she would have to do more than just come at him and try to throw his balance off. His eyes flashed icy blue for a moment, smirking with delight at this."Try a different approach." He said

She'd miscalculated and found herself on the ground again, looking up at Jack for a moment before she kicked herself back to her feet. "You sure live up to your name, Stone," she smirked. Brushing herself off again, Valerie was ready for another approach like Jack suggested. If he was going to keep throwing her off like that, she couldn't push against him like that, or in any way.

Moving quickly and quietly, she found herself behind Jack and pressed down on the backside of his knee, jumping away again before he could throw her away again. She got close to Jack again and put all her strength into a punch. She knew Jack expected more of her, but hopefully she could at least show him she wasn't completely useless. She couldn't really use her gifts either when he wasn't giving her anything to work with.

He felt her kick behind his knees and had stumbled some but quickly caught himself and blocked her punch by lifting his arm infront of him and she pinche that instead. He jumped back from her then and charged at her, if she needed a move then guess he would have to supply one then. He charged at her then and disappeared but he had sucked right before he reached her and once she looked down he pulled his weight back to deliver a single kick to her stomach ad sent her flying back. He hoped that she could replicate the love he just did, he had others but wonders if she was even fast enough to catch into his moves and copy it.
