"Yeah she said that she moved here for business she's a guard for a important person or something like that." He said and got up to get more green tea. He looked to her for a moment."She wasnt very detailed on who she exactly worked for." He said. He was curious though as to who she worked for and figured that maybe he could find out if he kept her in the pack and learned more about her.

He did smiled one at what Amanda said concerning Kailah. "We'll oce you spend more time with her I'm sure shell behave hersellf more around you." He said.

Amanda didn't like secrecy like that. It seemed this new girl might be trouble, but maybe keeping her close would allow Jack to learn more about her and whether or not she was safe to have around. The last thing she wanted was for anyone to get Kailah in trouble or Jack for that matter. She would trust Jack with this girl and trust that if she meant trouble, he'd take care of it. After all, she'd trusted Jack with the other wolves in the pack and keeping them away from their daughter.

"I don't think it'll help much, my parents couldn't even console her and the moment she's back to you she falls right asleep. Maybe it's a wolf thing," she said and chuckled. Until Kailah was older, she would most likely be closer to her father anyway, since she wouldn't have her magic for years still. Hopefully she'd be able to keep her calm, but for now Jack was the magic solution to all their daughter's problems.

"I can't stay much longer though, Jack. I have some work I need to take care of. I got an appointment with Dahlia in the morning that I need to prepare for," she said with a slight shrug. She really didn't like her weekly appointments with Dahlia, but she had no choice and it was mainly because of how Dahlia acted that she didn't like them. Dahlia was never too pleasant with her, even if she was just trying to help.

He just nodded at what she said and knew that once Amanda got her life back together then her parents will come to accept her more. It is surprise him some that her parents could just drop their daughter like that but they had good reason to and he was happy that they picked Kailah the way they did. He knew that her parents loved Kailah with all their heart and they even liked him.

He got up and went to the kitchen and cleaned up about."How is that coming along by the way?" He asked curiously.

Amanda really didn't know why people kept saying she had to get her life back together; she had never lost anything that made it hard to find her way back. Not that there was a perfect road for her to travel as she'd never really become who she was before. Nothing could change all the things she'd done, and instead of drowning in grief like she'd feared, she'd just put it behind her without second thought at all. Nothing she could do to change it.

At Jack's question, Amanda shrugged slightly. "She's not gotten any nicer about it that's for sure," she chuckled. "It's going better than expected actually. She doesn't really take a lot at once, so it's not that bad." It had been very painless so far, but that didn't mean it was pleasant due to Dahlia's attitude towards her. "On the bright side, I'm learning new ways to use magic that doesn't hurt anyone."

He nodded."We'll I know that she has alot on her plate so it's good that she is helping you." He said with a smile. Once he was done cleaning the kitchen he sat back down and looked up at her."I'll call you later okay to let you know more about Valerie your not the only one thats alittle suspecious of her and I don't like that she saw Kailah either." He said. Although e could be him being paranoid, he couldn't help but to feel like something big had come to Bitter Psrinfs but he had no proof or leads that confirmed this feeling.

He got up then and said bye before going to Kailah's took and checked on her. Her temperature went down and she was sleeping soundly.
