Casey let Valerie take care of Amanda for the most part, not really knowing how to calm others when they cried. It just watched for a moment, its features going rather blank before Amanda seemed to drift off into slumber. It watched how Valerie made to soothe the woman, taking not for later if it ever had to comfort again. It looked up at the wolf's words, not seeming too phased. "The word doesn't need a monster that can't be leashed. This town got lucky with me, but if she fell into that hunger there would be little to tame her." Casey looked down at Amanda at what to do next, starting to formulate a plan in its head. It narrowed its eyes for a moment, looking unsure of things for a moment. It seemed something did click in its mind as a small yet depressing smile crossed its lips. "We need to expose her to other emotions and show her that she no longer needs rage to feel something. It's all I can think to do."

It was good that Amanda was finally calm and getting some much needed rest. Valerie just couldn't help but worry about her and feel responsible for her being turned. After all, if she hadn't dragged Amanda into the forest to train, none of this would have happened and the redhead would just learn how to deal with her issues the way she'd been going at it. Sure, they were finally making some real progress now, but it was still wrong that she should have to be turned into something other than what she was to be able to change.
"From what I've heard, despite how hard she's been fighting you today, before Jack took Kailah away she was already giving into that hunger. He was the one to put the leash on her in a way by making her realize what she was losing, and I think passing the responsibility on to you was the best thing to do. Showing her what she's truly capable of is she lost control was the right thing to do..." She was still pulling her fingers through the others hair, gently, afraid to wake her before morning. She needed this. Needed the rest before they exposed her to Casey's plan.
It had been a long day for them all really. "So I guess we need to convince Jack to let you be around Kailah then. I can't think of anything else that would expose her to good feelings other than seeing her daughter again. She really does light up around that little girl." Valerie hadn't realized she was exhausted from trying to keep up with the redhead until she had to stifle a yawn. Carefully wriggling herself out from under Amanda, without waking her, Valerie lifted the sleeping girl and carried her to the bed, laying her down gently and pulled the covers over her. She had been about to turn and leave the room when Amanda grabbed her shirt, refusing to let go, despite the fact that she was fast asleep. "She looks so innocent when she's sleeping... I think I'm going to lay down for a moment, see you in the morning?" she said when she finally got her shirt free and Amanda complained in her sleep. She very carefully slipped off her shoes and crawled up next to Amanda, stroking her hair once more when the redhead cuddled up to her and held her in place. At least she was calm again, and the bed was more comfortable than the couch.

Casey was starting to look bored again, just backing away to lean on a wall and observe as it had been doing so far tonight. It already knew what Valerie was talking about from before the contract. Dahlia had made it do some digging on the side of just how bad Amanda had gotten before finally having the rage cut away by Casey. The dragon did listen to the wolf rattle on though, only really starting to focus when she tried to get away from the redhead only to have the woman grab her shirt. It couldn't help to chuckle at this, stifling the noise with its hand. It listened to what Valerie was saying, only giving a nod as it moved to step out of the room. "Very well, I'll keep guard like a good dragon I suppose. hope she doesnt have nightmares after what I showed her." It then slipped out of the room, closing the door behind it so as to let the two females be in peace as they slept. Casey was bored sure, but a job was a job.
