She couldn't help but be amused by all this now. If teaching the human how to kill her kind was the way of earning his friendship, she'd go above and beyond to show him ways to do so. "A stake to the heart sounds simple enough, it's certainly simpler than decapitation or fire," she said with a slight smile. Hopefully she could earn his trust this way eventually, by showing him he wasn't defenseless just because he was human. And also by giving him a way to protect himself if he was ever afraid of her again.
Pulling a hand through her hair, she sighed slightly when it fell back into place. "If you want me to leave so you can have some time, I'll go." She knew there was only so much information a person could take at once and that he might need time to accept and come to terms with all the information she'd given him. It wasn't every day that a person learned monsters were real after all. All she could do now was to hope he wouldn't run away in panic the next time she saw him.

Finnley was still trying to wrap his head around this before picking up on her amused state. He looked a bit confused at it before going a bit pale in the face about two other ways to kill vampires. He was very much human, but at the mention of decapitation he couldn't help to rub a hand on his neck. He could deal with a move like a stake through chest, but cutting heads off seemed a bit much as does fire. He didn't even want to think of how that would go before Gale spoke up, making Finnley pay close attention. He was blinking at her while he processed what she had said, still not too relaxed. "That might be good. Um sorry for not hearing ya out before...this is all pretty terrifying still." He had looked down to his hands for a moment, seeming restless and worried all over still. He was going to have to learn so much from Gale about the monsters that live in this town. He couldn't let his parents be harmed after everything they'd been through with him. He needed to keep them safe if they were going to stick around just so he could get his proper medical attention.

It wasn't really anything that was worth getting amused by, but she couldn't help herself. It was sort of strange to be sitting there across the room from a human and explain to him how he could best kill a vampire. She couldn't really say she'd ever heard of something quite like that before. Didn't really matter though as long as she was making a friend at the end of the day.
"I'll leave my cell number so you'll be able to reach me, at least via texts... And I really didn't mean to frighten you." Getting up from the floor, she looked around until she found something to write with and on and scribbled down her name and number so he could reach her if he had any further questions. Turning around to face Finnley again, she smiled slightly. "Thanks for hearing me out," she said as she was finally ready to leave.

Finnley looked up from his hands to notice that Gale was talking to him again. He watched carefully to make sure he got everything before giving a bit of a chuckle. He could use the number sure, but the part where she added in that he could at least text him for contact. "Yeah kinda hard for me to call ya if I can't hear." He gave a bit more kinder smile to Gale at her saying sorry. He watched her find something to write on along his desk, standing himself as he watched her write.down her name and numb. At least now that he had a spelling of her name it be easier to attempt to pronounce it. He started to lead the way upstairs then, knowing this was goodbye for the evening. He wasn't even aware of his mom starting to creep down to watch the two. "Well it's more of reading, but not a problem. And I'm still sorry for storming off like that, I'll try not to do that again." He moved to open the door then, smiling kindly now and looking relaxed again.

It hadn't even occurred to her that it had been unnecessary to tell him he could text her, how else was he going to reach her through a phone anyway when he couldn't really hear her answer. "If you're ever in trouble, just call and tell me where you're at. Doesn't matter if you can't hear me, I'll find you." She offered with a slight smile. She meant it though, if Finnley ever found himself in real trouble, she'd be there.
She couldn't help but smile slightly at the human woman again when she saw her, glad she'd been kind enough to let the vampiress inside so she could ease Finnley's worries some. It was a mouthful and considering she hadn't prepared him for any of it, she wasn't surprised he'd reacted the way he had. In that moment, she realized that the next time she wanted to tell a human about her, she would have to properly prepare them before showing them anything. If there even was a next time.
Turning to face Finnley before she left, Amelita smiled at him. "I'll show you around sometime. See you around," and then she casually turned to walk away. She would have just used her speed and vanished, but considering his mother was watching, she couldn't very well do that. She had to wait until she was far enough away so they wouldn't really be watching before running straight home.

Finnley was still a bit unaware his mom was there, not even when he didn't think Gale was smiling at him but past him. He focused on reading her lips then, smiling brightly at her and her words. "I'd like that. Watch yourself." He gave a bit of a wave to her once she was a few steps off the front of the house, closing the door. Once he locked it he couldn't help to sigh at the tension he had been holding until that moment. It was then Finnley saw his mom, giving him this look that the boy always dreaded to see in her. "Mum she' s just a friend and staying a friend." He then made his way to his room again before his mother could go on about how nice Gale was or how she thought they could be so lovely together. The boy just wanted to focus on absorbing the fact that he now knew of one of the monsters in this town.
