Jack was patrolling the boarders of the forrest, just seeing if any threats would try to come into the Forrest. He was by himself while Kailah was with Amanda's parents. Lately there had been a increase in hunters which had been a problem with his pack since he had lost one of his pack members, course he killed the man but he had been keeping on the defense for the past week.

So far it had been a peaceful night, the sky was pitch black, only the full moon was in the sky. He had been force to be in this form and his pack were in groups of two as they were as well patrolling the area. He kekept tabs of how the pack was doing through Hunter who were supervising some new members.

He heard something to the south of him, it was a vampire, his ears twitch and he sniffed the air. Whoever they were, they were half a mile away from him. He heard a pain filed sound that came from that direction and Hunter sent a alert to Jack that one of the pack members had been hurt, his partner had sent a telepathic message to Hunter. The surviving partner had come bolting from the area and to Jack who was already on his way.

Both wolves cautiously approach the area. He made the wolf that accompany him stay back. He smelt the blood of his fallen pack member, it immediately made his alpha instincts to maim whoever this hunter was increase. He finally caught a glimpse of the hunter and his icey blue eyes widen. He knew this hunter, it was the same one that had killed his parents when he was young. hair on the back of his neck.had risen and form a line of erect hair down his back. He growled and showed himself to the hunter, sharp and rather large teeth and fangs were bared at the hunter. This hunter had killed Romanian wolves in the past, so he should recognized that Jack was a Romanian wolf. Jack was pitch black, but he was bigger and way more built than other werewolves. He glared at the hunter, growling in a menacing way.

It being a full moon and all, Amanda had had no choice but to shift. Luckily she'd arranged it so that she would spend the night with Valerie so she wouldn't be all alone. Only down side to that was that the dark brown wolf was part of Jack's pack, so Amanda had had to do as Jack said for the night and team up with her. Not that she minded having the other wolf for company while she was getting used to her new form. It was only her second full moon as a werewitch after all.

The hunter had been on the job, tracking down a particularly difficult werewolf to find. It had been years since he'd managed to kill Jack's parents, now all that was left was Jack himself. Years and years ago, he'd been approached not only by a pack of Romanian wolves, but by Equilibrium once they learned of his new targets. To stop an uprising and maintain the peace, he'd had to kill the usurpers, but hadn't had it in him to kill a child. Now the time had come to correct that mistake. So he'd tracked Jack down to a town of Bitter Springs and was happily killing other pack members to get the alpha's attention.

That night, he'd hurt and killed at least one wolf and would have had the pleasure of taking out its partner as well, if he hadn't run off. Leslie was about to go after him when he stopped in his tracks, having caught a familiar scent. Not long after, the Romanian wolf appeared and growled at him. Smirking slightly, he stepped forward. He'd had a very special weapon made, just for hunting werewolves. A few years back, he'd come across someone quite good at metallurgy and had them create special finger armor out of silver. It was sharp, like sharp nails, fit perfectly and came in handy as it allowed him to use his hands to his full capacity as a vampire.

"Just the wolf I wanted to see," he said with a chuckle as he tackled the wolf, making sure Jack couldn't get a bite in.

Jack remembered that day; his father and mother had both died to protect him from the hunter, he didn't know why the hunter had killed his parents, he personally didn't know about the uprising that his parents had plotted. Jack remembered that his father had a lot of unknown wolves.over, but he never overheard anything.

He.growled at the hunter, baring.his fangs at him when he was suddenly tackled. The hunter did put him in a position that wasnt easy to break, but he did manage to get the hunter of him by kicking him off with his back legs. The wolf that had accompanied Jack sent a telepathic message to the entire pack. Hunter ordered everyone to get to Jack location amd quick.

Jack jumped on the hunter then, trying to maul the hunters face of with teeth and claws. His jaws were snapping at the hunters neck that wasn't protected by the armor. He was filled with revenge and figured that could give him enough rage to win.

When Jack got out of his hold and jumped on him, Leslie managed to get a hold of Jack's jaws and clamped the shut. He wasn't going to end his life taking out this werewolf by being bitten. He actually scratched Jack on the side with his nails to get him off before he pushed the werewolf off of him.

Amanda and Valerie were the first to arrive at Jack's aid and there was no stopping the coppery wolf from tackling the vampire back to the ground, snarling at him. It didn't matter if she wasn't with Jack, no one got to hurt him still. Naturally she wined slightly when he scratched her, but the silver didn't affect her and she didn't get off. She was going to keep the vampire down so Jack could just end it right there. Even if it meant getting hurt herself.

Leslie was struggling with this coppery wolf and he didn't understand why it wasn't affected by the silver at all, in the end he did manage to get it off of him, but it seemed determined to jump him again and keep him down until the brown wolf tackled the coppery one down and held her down. Even if Amanda didn't care that she was getting hurt, Valerie did it seemed and she wanted to keep her out of harms way for the most part.

Jack yelped at the scratchs going down his side, he was in slight pain but anger and adrenaline made it obsolete at the moment. He watched as Amanda had joined the fight, he growled at this, telling hernot to get involved. This was his fight and he didn't want Kailah loosing both her parent's to this hunter.

Once Valerie got Amanda detained, he turned his attention back to the hunter. He used his speed, appearing infront of the hunter and slashed his face with his claws, making him fly back before Jack was on him again. He tackled the vampire, biting at his shoulder, not caring about the armor. His claws slashed the vampires neck now.

It didn't matter that Jack didn't want her involved in the fighting. She wanted to hurt the vampire. It was the first time she'd ever wanted to hurt a vampire and she figured it had to have something to do with it being a full moon and all. So she was struggling to get free from Valerie to get at the vampire again, but it seemed to be useless as the brunette just wouldn't let go of her. Whenever Amanda got free, Valerie was on her again in a second, tackling her to the ground. She didn't stop fighting the other until Valerie did the only thing she could think of to get Amanda to calm down, she licked her ear and tugged lightly at it to distract her.

Once her focus was broken, Amanda was just staring at Valerie, confused as to what the other was doing, before she gave in and just laid down, resting her head on her forelegs as she watched Jack go at the wolf again. She wanted to help Jack, but Valerie laid down next to her, nudging her gently to get her to relax.

Leslie snarled when Jack slashed his face like that, before he was tackled to the ground again with Jack biting at his shoulder. Luckily the armor held and he pushed Jack off after the claws had slashed his neck like that. Despite wanting nothing more than to finish this fight once and for all, he decided it might be easier to find and kill Jack when he wasn't in his wolf form and surrounded by his pack as he heard other wolves approaching quickly. So he was gone a second later. He had a safe place that none of the wolves would be able to trace him to at the moment, thanks to some witches that had helped him conceal it from werewolves. He would find Jack again after sunrise when the wolf would most likely be back to his human self.

He was trying to break the armor and actually heard it crack but he wasn't able to finish this fight when the hunter actualy ran. Jack wanted to give chase, but heard a few whimpers. On the ground laid the dead body of rather young boy. Jack walked over to the fallen pack member. He looked at everyone else now, his blue eyes filled with rage and anger, but their was aldo a hint of sadness.

He had a few of the pack members carry the dead body and headed to the cabin. Once there, he told Hunter about the vampire that he had fought. Jack made Hunter tell Amanda that the Hhunterwas the same one that had killed his parents.

Amanda was back on her feet when the hunter ran, despite Valerie's attempts to get her to lie back down. It wasn't until someone started to carry the dead body that she calmed down and just followed the rest of the wolves. There wasn't anything to be done about the hunter that night anyway, as she didn't have her magic when she was trapped in her wolf form anyway and she'd learned from reading that she wasn't actually able to infect anyone with her bite.

Upon learning that the hunter was the same that had killed Jack's parents, Amanda growled slightly before she walked over to Jack and nuzzled his side gently to let him know that way that she'd help him. She wouldn't let the hunter get away with hurting Jack twice or possibly going after Kailah next.

Jack looked down at Amanda, nuzzling her neck in return. The night was almost up thankfully. After a few hours, everyone and turned.back to their normal self. Jack sent most of the pack home, instructing the pack to not seek the vampire out and to only attack in self defense. Once everyone left, he looked to Amanda and Vincent with a sigh.

"Amanda could you please make sure Kailah is protected." He said.

It was a relief to turn back into her human self again. Getting dressed, Amanda turned to Jack at his request. On one hand, she could understand where Jack was coming from with all this, he didn't want Kailah to end up an orphan if things went south, but at the same time she couldn't let him risk his life going after a vampire just to end an old feud.

"You seriously think I'm gonna let you do whatever it is you plan to do on your own?" She asked, wanting to know what it was that he had planned. She knew he'd probably try to guilt trip her into butting out of it all as he seemed concerned that she'd get herself killed for wanting to help out. Honestly, rather her than Jack. If Kailah had to do without one of them, it was better if it ended up being her and she wouldn't let Jack argue that.

"I'm not gonna stand back while you try to get yourself killed. Am I the only one who thought his whole armor thing was weird? I know you want your revenge, but come on, even I can tell he's got friends in high places, you might need some magical help."

He knew that fighting Amanda on this was going to be.either hard.or.damn near impossible. He sigh at her words."I plan on killing him, his after me and he could go after Kailah because she's my daughter." He said.

He wanted Amanda to butt out of it, but more it was he wanted Kailah to have one parent and both.of them going together wouldn't be a good idea. "He was wearing a special.armor....I seen it before when he killed my dad who attacked him...if he does have in high places then why is he after me....makes me think my parents were killed for some reason." he said.

So she was right, he did intend to kill the hunter. Which made Amanda even more determined to tag along for when he faced the vampire again. She would have to find some way to ensure that Jack won the fight and didn't lose his life in the process. Even if it meant losing herself. She knew she wasn't ready for everything to just end, but she also knew that Kailah would be in much better hands if Jack was the last one standing than if she had to do it on her own.

When Jack mentioned that his parents may have been killed for a reason, Valerie butted into the conversation. "I know this hunter, Jack. He takes the odd jobs for the order... I didn't recognize him at first, but the armor made me realize who he was." Biting her lip slightly, she looked down at her feet for a moment. She knew how much Jack detested her origins to begin with, and now she was giving him another reason to just kick her out of his pack and chase her out of town. "Just give me a moment," she murmured and got her phone out, calling her brother. All she told him was to find a librarian and ask about Leslie.

Hanging up with her brother, Valerie turned her gaze to Jack again, feeling sorry for her alpha for once. "Your parents were plotting against the pack Jack, that's why they were killed. When the order learned about the werewolves' plan to hire a hunter, they sent Leslie in for the job." She had expected Jack to be mad at her, what she hadn't expected was for Amanda to turn and growl at her for her piece of information. "I trusted your people to help with my daughter, and you send Leslie to finish a job he started years ago?"

He heard Valerie speak up now and looked alittle stunned at what she said. Did she just really say that?? She knew the hunter, he worked for the order. What did the order have to do with his parents being.killed. He was very quiet, only looking at her as she.spoke to someone on the phone. Once she was done, he was stunned at this new information. His.parents had.plotted against the pack....and the order had helped them.

He wasn't sure if he should be stunned or angry, or a mixture of both. He just sat down on the couch, running a hand.through his hair."Valerie.....I want the order to stay away from Kailah.....I.dont trust them....if there is.someone from the.order spying on my daughter I'll kill them and I want you to just leave my pack....I dont trust you if you remained a member of the.order." He said. He felt betrayed for some reason, he overlooked Valerie being a member of a group he already disliked, but they were responsible for his parents dieing, that hecouldn't overlooked at the moment.

Amanda couldn't believe what Valerie had just said about the order and how they had sent the hunter that killed Jack's parents. However much the other wolf had helped her come to terms with her new lifestyle, she didn't trust her anymore. She knew Valerie herself wasn't to be blamed for it really, but right now it made little difference to her.

Valerie whined softly at hearing what Jack had to say about the matter. "We kept our word and kept our distance from your daughter. I swear, I didn't know he was responsible for your parents." Valerie wasn't one to get emotional very easily, but what Jack was doing was totally unfair. He was judging her and kicking her out of his pack for having been brought up with the wrong sort of people essentially.

"Don't do this Jack, please. I don't make any decisions, I just keep people safe. Like Amanda, or helping you get all those kids back to their parents..." She was looking at Amanda now, trying to get her support. Instead, Amanda just sat down next to Jack and looked up at her. "You've been a great help, I'll be the first to say that, but if Jack says you need to go, then you need to go. At least for right now." There wasn't a lot she could do to repay Jack for helping her, but she could support him in this as she felt betrayed as well. Not by Valerie herself as much as the order.

Before Valerie could leave the cabin, Amanda got up again and led the brunette outside. Kissing her on her cheek to say goodbye, she whispered softly in the others ear: "find a way to redeem yourself and he might let you back in," before she returned to sit down with Jack.

He knew that it was unfair to kick Valerie out of the pack like that, but she was apart of the order and the way he viewed it was if she told them about his daughter then she would always side with them. If they ordered her to kill him, she probably would try to do it. He was happy that Amanda didn't try to push it on him by agreeing that Valerie should go.

He looked at Amanda once she return. "I have to get going....who knows where he is." He said softly.
